  1. It could have been considered Karma if they messed up the call on the field in the Bills favor, but they got it correct.
  2. Agree overall record is solid. But no way can you state with certainty that the Sammy option was a 'miss'. Regardless Watkins wouldnt be on the team if we picked up his 1-year option. And hes hurt again this year.
  3. Use the Shout box for posts like this. Rule of thumb is to make a post after either doing some research, or posting something of interest.
  4. So you agree with your own statement? Thanks for taking the time for such an insightful post.
  5. Bills only get attention if Dildos get thrown. We should all know this by now.
  6. If the Bills were to play 10-games against teams on a neutral field... I think I'd only rank the following teams as winning at least 6 of these games: NE, KC, Saints, Seattle, I think the following teams we'd go 5-5 Bears, 49ers Now the fun part is in the NFL, you just need to win ONE game that you're playing that week.
  7. The NFL game itself has some serious flaws. The fact that you can do everything 'correct' when making a tackle, and still die... is kinda strange... There are so many rules in place to keep the fancy (quarterback) players healthy for the sole reason of appealing to the average fan. Today, we are watching college style, arena football. It's not the NFL anymore.
  8. Better than nothing. Not every draft pick is going to work out. I'm glad to see this regime cut ties early and show decisiveness. I thought it was 6?
  9. My interpretation of the play-calling through 5 weeks is that Daboll is making the offense put in the work to master the base play-calling strategy. They're not trying to run up the score, they're trying to be efficient and gain experience playing together as a unit. Come the 4th quarter, if necessary, Daboll sprinkles in the some gems to win the game. The Mackenzie run followed by the RPO is a perfect example!
  10. The offensive line has only been together for 5 games. I think the run game improves as they gel. Singeltary injury also doesn't help. Give the offense some time. They'll look like a totally different unit come playoffs.
  11. Haha all good. There was a post recently about how forfeiting to the PATs should be considered (jokingly), and your previous response sounded like it was compounding the loss to the Patriots specifically with a few injuries.
  12. Were you on the let's forfeit vs the PATs train? If so then I guess you were right, but sorta irrational to specifically blame this injury to the PATs. I will blame Josh Allen for not taking care of himself if he misses this game and Barkley plays poorly.
  13. I think this was an attempt at a joke?
  14. I would have been fine with benching Allen for a drive or two against the PATs last week. He needs to learn that there's 51 other guys counting on him to not be a knucklehead, and if he doesn't get that, then he's not gonna play.
  15. OMG stats of one of the all-time great quarterbacks vs. his consistently worst divisional opponent!
  16. No different one.. he played in the 60s.. you probably didn't hear about him.?
  17. Only reason to 'hope not' would be if you have suspicions that concussion protocol is not robust enough. Or you think Allen should be benched?
  18. If you're goin old school, then Andre Reid's gotta be over Moulds!
  19. Although it would be cool for the rest of the season to pan out how we hope and McDermott win the award... it would actually be 3 consecutive years of excellence that were required for Mcdermott to win the award.
  20. Okay I'm on board with that. But I want the Bills to get to that category, and I think they can based on the delta that their young studs still possess to improve!
  21. We can call them elite or whatever you like. But my list of elite defenses is pretty short so we might just differ in definitions. These teams below from recent memory showed consistent 'elite' play for extended periods of time and would be the only 'elite' defenses I've witnessed. An elite defense in my mind can basically win a superbowl with their offense kneeling the ball on every down.. I think once Oliver and Edmunds reach their true potential, we'll be able to call that period 'elite'. Bears (current) Broncos (during SB win season over Carolina) Seattle (during SB win season over Denver) Ravens (at height of Ray Lewis/Ed Reed)
  22. I think it's a bit premature to call this group elite. They had one elite performance in 4 weeks and the patriots have serious questions on the O-line. Not saying they won't get there/maybe they are, but it's a bit early for this. Don't forget, they've got plenty of room to still improve with Edmunds only at his 1.25 seasons, Oliver at .25 seasons, etc.
  23. God I wish Gore was 25 and could be a Bill for the next 10 years.
