Looks like the call to squib may not have made it to Bass
Niagara Dude replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall
I find it hard to believe they do not discuss things before kicking off, are to believe that during the season when Bass did those pop up kick offs that other players did not know. I am sure special teams captain and kicker are talking about which side he will be kicking it, this non answer Sean offers is another way go covering for his conservative coaching. Just admit you were worried about a possible second Music city miracle and this is why Bass took 7 yard sunup and blasted it through the end zone. -
Frazier getting second interview with Joe Schoen and NYG

Not bad teams but playing against teams with average level talent at the QB position, there is a difference. -

I was thinking about him and who knows if Knox excels at a high level in next couple of seasons. They just seem to break missing high level talent on defensive side -

Then their whole process is joke because if you're planning on doing this then you would think they would be talking as a unit before the kick which side of the field he would be kicking to. Again this is on the coach who brags about being prepared for situational football. If I am the HC I would be totally involved in any final plays in such an important game. Sean is deflecting and no different for the next two plays where they called timeouts. They rushed 4 and left wide open field for receivers to run into, why are you rushing 4 and not just 2 so you have more defenders to make tackles right away or jam/hold guys at the line? Sean was covering for his whimpy coaching and even made a point yesterday to highlight his success in previous seasons Like why is his talking about previous years? is sounds like someone being defensive about his major coaching choke job. I do really care what you did last season or the season before. You had an opportunity to win a Super Bowl this season and blew it, focus on the present -

Other than maybe Diggs & White, no elite talent players beyond Allen -
The Chiefs knew what they were doing to finish out the season , they lost so they could finish below Buffalo and have the easiest road to the ECF'S. Raiders were a joke and everyone knew Titans were a fake #1 seed. The way Allen was playing , they would havre smoked the Titans because Henry did not look 100% playing with plate in his foot.

Frazier getting second interview with Joe Schoen and NYG
Niagara Dude replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
There is no way New York media and fans would accept the Giants hiring Frazier, this is just Joe Schoen trying to get Frazier's name get out there so he will have a chance at one of the other HC openings. Maybe had he prepared his defence better and not been so whimpy to close out that game he would be getting serious consideration , but there is no NFL team interested in Frazier other then to fill out league obligation so I do see him getting other interviews coming and then a majority of Bills fans praying he gets hired to get his pathetic bend but don't break defence out of town. Before his apologists come talking about his # defensive ratings, tell me about the last 3 playoff years and how our defence gave up leads in all 3 games. I pray he gets hired and would love to be wrong because there are a lot of talented defensive coaches on the market and that is what this Bills teams really needs. If the Pegulas were not so soft they would be asking Sean to replace Frazier right now. IMHO. Even Marv Levy replaced dc coordinators on those Super Bowls teams , the fact is defence is the weak link on this team right now and I don't care about fake rankings. Are you suggesting that after all HC positions are filled he will be replaced? -

No comparison at all because that team had HOF players beyond just a great QB which Allen is. Maybe Diggs & White could be in that category -

Like the game hold your excitement, I guarantee no team is hiring this clown retread. We're stuck with his him until he decides retire. Joe Schoen just doing him a favour with second interview to make it seem like he is in demand. Trust the process....... no owner hiring this guy who is your classic old retread coach -

Sadly he will not receive any HC offer and we will be stuck with this loser -
I am hopeful we can sign some prove it deals with free agents, maybe restructure some deals until cap moves up. Next season is the last year that ALLEN'S deal is at reasonable money.

What are the top three worst losses in franchise history?
Niagara Dude replied to VaMilBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
This was by far the worse of the 3, your feeling really good thinking we finally got over the hump and will be playing at home to go to the Super Bowl. After Allen did it again I started calling for a squid or pop up kick even before Bass lined the football up. Then after it went way past the end zone I just started to focus on not giving them anything easy on first play. Boom, Hill wide open and goes for 19 yards. Both Romo and Nance started saying the Chiefs may still have a chance. The Bills then called a time out and I just figured they would just hold or tackle Chief players because even new rules allow you to do it once. When they lined up I could not understand why Bills defenders were so far off the line and just crossed my fingers that they would not complete the pass. BOOM again, Kelce wide open in the open field for 25 yards and by this time both Nance & Romo were now convinced the Chiefs were going to tie this game up and they did. Other events were one play, this was 3 consecutive cluster-fk moron thinking plays. We blew 3 plays in a row and after KC won the coin toss I knew it was over. Within mins I went from planning a ECF'S game to reading scouting reports on possible college players we could draft. -
Sean was covering for himself, this nonsense of not throwing anyone under the bus is BS. He called out Mackenzie for his fumble against the Colts, just admit he screwed up final 3 plays before FG attempt. One of worse meltdowns in team history because it was not just one play but 3 in row. He should be called out by media and just glad Jerry did

Mic'd up: Kelce outsmarted McDermott/Frazier
Niagara Dude replied to beebe's topic in The Stadium Wall
Can you imagine Allen's parents inn the press box after going crazy just mins before on the Allen to Davis TD? The worse part is the national media make Mahoimes/Kelce/Hill look like they are the greatest to ever play doing the impossible and really both plays were pitch & catch -
Good dude who delivered us a 7th round draft pick

Should the Bills extend Edmunds?
Niagara Dude replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree he would be better in an attacking style defence, perhaps the Jets would give us their second rounder. -
I got a better one.... how about HC switch teams?

Niagara Dude replied to beebe's topic in The Stadium Wall
I tried but I throw up watching those two pass plays during final 13 secs, I just cannot believe what I am watching. If you were not a fan of either team you would think this game was rigged, it cannot be possible for an NFL level coach to be that stupid -

Niagara Dude replied to beebe's topic in The Stadium Wall
It was one one the worse meltdowns in years, he screwed up bad. Like why did he not just go up to Bass himself and instruct him to do pop up or squid kick, this BS of first telling the special teams coach who then never told Bass sounds like a coverup. -
I mentioned this, during the season he was doing those pop up kicks to around the 5 yard line, when he does this he uses a 2 -3 yard approach. I could believe the communication between ST'S coach and Sean was bad but I don't believe Bass just ignored Sean instructions to do pop up or squid kick. Either way, we can call it the triple does of dumb. First mistake was kick-off and then they followed that up with two consecutive plays where Chief receivers got free releases and wide open field to work with. Sean and Frazier should feel terrible because they ruined the hopes & dreams of many Bills fans and now fans from other cities have another thing to laugh at.

Depends on what kind of money he wants
