Dak out 6 to 8 weeks now what for the cowboys
Niagara Dude replied to oldschoolfootball1963's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Cowboys and Dak did not look good at all even before he got hurt. This will most likely be McCarthy's final year before Jones goes out and offers Sean Peyton and boat load of money to be their new HC. -
Based on playing at home the following week and how we just whipped the Rams , not holding with only 13 secs may have cost the Bills their first title. You rush 3 with a spy and just tackle receivers at the line chewing up 5-6 secs. You can only do this on one play during a series. We gave up an easy 20 yards to Hill with DB's playing so far off the line and then repeated stupid with Kelce. Either way I think we can all agree the Bills coaches made a bunch of poor choices to end that game and it cost us. I don't buy or accept the kicker did not know about squib kick, Sean needs to go on the field himself and tell him what he wants. I am pretty sure they have new process in place for late game situations with a lead. I was more upset seeing how elite Saquon Barkley looked and thinking how most fans in Buffalo did not want him and some were naive enough to believe anyone currently on our team is near as good. The dude is big and explosive, something this team does not have at this time

AFC East Division Race-Your Own Buffalo Bills
Niagara Dude replied to aristocrat's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think you win the division after week one, this does not matter and I am more concerned with the fact that Chiefs and Mahomes still look really good despite losing Hill -
I like them both, last year we had bodies but not quality and Star did not care despite being given so much money. Only one game but the depth is quality and that means rotating guys and keeping them fresh.

I disagree on Philips because they ended up signing Butler who did zero in his two seasons with Buffalo. Go look at the contracts and there were almost the same and Philips is by far the better player. I do agree with you on Shaq, who received a huge offer
-
Jordan Philips was dominating in getting into the backfield, everyone talks about Miller but we now have both size and push up the middle because of the offseason signings including Philips who we should have never let go.

I will like this move even more if Beane holds his cards and does not give Poyer some huge extension with big guaranteed money that gets kicked down the road. Both Hyde & Poyer are good players, but they are not great or elite players . They are a product of Sean's very conservative style defense and both dudes are now in their 30's. Both guys were lower round picks and both. guys did very little before arriving ins Buffalo and getting into Sean's conservative zone style defense. I don't mind giving guaranteed money for younger players who have not yet reach their ceilings but we cannot be spending like drunken sailors and kicking guaranteed money down the road on older vets who are what they are and if anything will lose ability. The reality is if Poyer wants to add another couple of seasons to current deal at at reasonable amount, then yes but no massive extension. They cannot afford to pay & keep everyone getting huge deals

I am glad we drafted him and have him, end of the day he still needs to win a chip or they will never include him among the greats. Last season in the playoffs he played better than any QB in Bills playoff history including Jim Kelly. I do believe he finally has a defense that can make plays upfront and get off the field. Fans crying about losing coin flip should be complaining about our defense not getting a stop in both final 13 sec and OT. Our defense was fake news last year with stats pumped up against bad QB'S during the regular season. As for Josh, I prefer they call less designed runs and save those calls for the playoffs when it really matters.

This looks rigged, Allen has to be in top #5 and this was a major screw job to have him at #13

Bills show what a class organization they are
Niagara Dude replied to marck's topic in The Stadium Wall
It is possible because her lawyer will get very little from Matt now, below are his words after Matt was cut, calling them an enabler but the Bills cut ties so that is not an enabler in my opinion Attorney Dan Gilleon, who filed suit on behalf of “Jane Doe,” said in a statement to Times of San Diego: The Buffalo Bills had no choice but to cut their young punter after so badly botching their response to our claim: they ignored us, as though what I warned them would happen could be avoided if they just kept their heads in the sand. This is what enablers do. -

I trust that the Bills got enoughdetails and made a decision based on knowing enough and this would turn into a media circus distraction. People can jump to their own conclusions but any type of involvement is no good for a team like the Bills which has a HC who prides himself in having high character players on the team. The Bills are not the Browns, the answers and end of this case may take years and they need to move on. Maybe now the ambulance chaser lawyer of the accuser can now focus on all 3 defendants and not just Matt because he is a NFL PLAYER. Her lawyer was tweeting out details the past few days that focused solely on Matt. If the accuser was indeed gang raped and beaten then people responsible should be punished in a criminal court of law not looking for payouts -
Our new punter will be (Update pg. 38 - Martin Signed)

That game last season against the Jets at home sealed his fate with the Bills and the fans. I lost trust in him and just glad we will see someone new this season. -
Matt Araiza accused of rape, served with a lawsuit.
Niagara Dude replied to bill8164's topic in Off the Wall
An NFL insider thinks a Buffalo Bills player could be on the move before the start of the 2022 season. Mike Kaye, an NFL reporter for Pro Football Network, said on Friday that Bills running back Zack Moss is “primed to be dealt”. -

I fully agree, this is why if he was innocent it was much better to pay her before this went to there media . He was there, booze was flowing and people will come to their own conclusions . I can guarantee , any short of her coming out and saying he was wrongly accused and not involved this will explode over the next few days -

Is there a kid who does not have a cell phone these days, if she was drunk the right thing was to call a cab and get her home not bring into a house party full of horny highly intoxicated college football players -

Even if he is innocent he should have just paid whatever she was asking for because the media attention is not good and will only get worse with time. This will not go away and not end well. I hate thinking about it because the timing of the lawsuit right after he secures starting punter position does not pass the smell test and also waiting a whole calendar year to bring this out. The problem is he was at the party and it sounds like almost everyone was drunk so who can you believe, the questions will always be there no matter what. I was really excited to see this kid punt but fully understand if the Bills cut him before the season. The Bills are not the Browns
