I will like this move even more if Beane holds his cards and does not give Poyer some huge extension with big guaranteed money that gets kicked down the road. Both Hyde & Poyer are good players, but they are not great or elite players . They are a product of Sean's very conservative style defense and both dudes are now in their 30's. Both guys were lower round picks and both. guys did very little before arriving ins Buffalo and getting into Sean's conservative zone style defense. I am glad we drafted him and have him, end of the day he still needs to win a chip or they will never include him among the greats. Last season in the playoffs he played better than any QB in Bills playoff history including Jim Kelly. I do believe he finally has a defense that can make plays upfront and get off the field.
