Missing Jones and Philips being injured played a huge part in this. No pushing the pocket allowed Burrows to step up. This is why I would consider trading Oliver and having another 300pounder plus DT. Oliver does not makes enough negative plays to play him big money.

Was bringing Hamlin into locker room just a bad call...
Niagara Dude replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Since the Viking game the were not the same team and offence was not as dangerous as last season. Yes they won games against bad teams to finish the year but you need to be playing at a high level to beat top teams. The Hamlin situation did not help but this team never got better as the season went along. Last season from beating Patriots in England the team got better heading towards the playoffs . The never punted against Pats in opening round playoff game and Allen had a epic game against Chiefs only to lose because of 13 sec. Defence was no better last season but our offence was loads better last year and offence is what you need come playoff time. We don't have a defence that wins games when you only score 10 points against a Team with a top elite QB. -
Trade Diggs for assets and go to a more controlled ground game.
Niagara Dude replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Unless they are trading for another #1 this would a crazy suggestion for league that focuses on passing the football. -
Just look at the stats, they even let a trash QB like the Jets Wilson to hang numbers on them. I am so sick of seeing DB's playing 10-12 yards off of the line.

McBeane's constant use of premium draft picks on role players
Niagara Dude replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Start drafting WR'S /RB'S/OLINE, enough with giving endless defensive picks. -
Beane needs to start drafting player with either great size or elite speed. Enough with these undersized slow moving high motor player, this team needs more speed and more size at line positions. Can anyone explain our 3rd rounder this season while Chiefs uses a 7th rounder on a RB who runs a 4.3 forty and is now their starting RB. Focus on speed and size and enough with these good character players, who cares if they cannot play.

Reid was Sean's mentor and he fired Sean because they could not get to the QB, Sean needs to put the team first and replace Frazier. 13 secs should have never happened and we let that slide. Yesterday our defence came out with zero adjustments from when we played the Bengals a few weeks ago, they allowed them to go straight down the field two drives in a row. That took the crowd out of the game and it was essentially over. As for Sean getting a pass, they would not fire Sean softer this season because all he has done. IMO

Sean was covering for Frazier, this a win business and sometimes you need to make tough decisions to put yourself in better position to win. After all these playoff losses it is time for a new direction on defensive side of the ball. The fact is the Bills have invested big time on that side of the ball and the results have been the same.

Sean threw the special teams coach under the bus after 13 secs to save Frazier because Frazier does what he wants. I just hope Pegula does what Ralph Wilson would do, insist that Sean replace Frazier and stick with being the head coach. Allow a new DC to bring in a new aggressive minded scheme, Frazier has blown many playoff games and its time to try something different. His regular season stats are fake and get fully exposed against good QB's which you will be playing in the playoffs.

Does anyone think Allen is asking Beane to bring back both Brown and Beasley if he had faith in Davis/McKenzie? Like when was the last time Brown even played ? Not surprised that teams just loaded up on Diggs and let others try and beat us. We have no 3 down back and line is suspect, our offence struggled all season and yesterday it showed. Diggs was pissed because Allen was not throwing to him in double coverage. Like how dropped passes did Mckenzie and Davis have this season. Mahomes and Burrows both have endless options and Beane is giving Allen not much outside of Diggs.

Beane’s mediocre draft record
Niagara Dude replied to Shanahan's Horseshoe's topic in The Stadium Wall
Chiefs got a more productive and faster RB in the 7th round than we got in the second round. That is how teams get better, hitting on late picks -

Ford was a complete 2nd round bust and they could taken either future HOF WR Metcalf or Brown. It was a major miss just like his 3rd rounder this season. -
So who do we lose to free agency this year?
Niagara Dude replied to bills6969's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oliver does nothing for me that says you invest big money into him, I would prefer we just get another Ted Washington type . DT need to be big and shield the LB'S, Oliver just does not make enough plays. -
Beane’s mediocre draft record
Niagara Dude replied to Shanahan's Horseshoe's topic in The Stadium Wall
Are you serious, he is one of best receivers in the NFL playing on rookie contract. Big production at low salary, learn the cap before speaking. -

Poyer most likely goes to the Giants and the Bills replace him with someone who has more speed. -

Bernard was a total waste, another high motor no size or speed player who will but cut in 2years. Had he drafted Metcalf or Brown they would not have had to trade for Diggs and could have drafted Jefferson. Everyone hails him as genius but he has blown many picks and it has cost us. -
Neither is going anywhere, I do believe Pegula should insist that Sean fires Frazier because I know Sean will not do this on his own. Sean threw the special teams coach under the bus last season after 13secs to save Frazier's butt. This time he needs to replace him and we a fresh scheme , Frazier's scheme are useless and not willing to adjust. I am sure Sean is a part of that and that was why he got fired himself in Philly . You have to bring pressure in this league or will get beat with the level of QB's in the AFC.
