Rex Ryan emerging as favorite for DC in Denver?
Niagara Dude replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Fans defending Frazier need to review our defence and how they did the last 4 playoff games that ended our season the last 4 years. Not one time did he put together some excellent game plan that helped us to win. Almost zero big plays. Watson- lose against Houston and we had 16-0 halftime lead, could not get off there field in the second half Mahomes (AFC title game)- Could not get off the field and they blew us out Mahomes - Could not get off the field and then they end the game blowing two leads inside of 2 mins including the famous 13 secs along with TD on the first possession of OT. Burrows- Two opening drives to start the game with almost zero resistance, looked like a 7 on 7 drill . Allowed him to carve us up by playing DB'S so far off the line going against a Bengals Line missing 3 starters and got zero pressure all game long You can even include the Dolphins 3rd string QB carving them up in our opening game of the playoffs. You had Diggs just last week before the Super Bowl talking about how KC'S defensive cordinator was really good at putting together game plans to get after the QB and create big plays. Diggs also mentioned how the Chiefs were so young in the secondary and never used that as an excuse. I really don't care about our defence in the regular season that gets stats against garbage QB'S with Frazier's soft zones. I don't believe you need a dominating defence to win a Super Bowl but you do need to have a defence that plays aggressive and makes a few big plays. The Bills with Frazier are not aggressive and it has cost them. Frazier coaches not to lose, end of story -

When? Giants GM was just doing him a favour. What does his defences do at top QB'S , these are the ones your usually playing in the playoffs. -

Nope should have been Frazier, 13 secs is the most stupid display of coaching ever and he repeated again our game against KC this past season. He will end up costing Sean his job because he is totally to conservative and big reason why he had no coaching offers. Not even an interview -

Amazing how Frazier again escapes, did anyone offer him a job? No because he sucks and has zero options if the Bills fired him. This is a major sign of weakness by Sean, he does not have the killer instinct or Frazier would have been toast after 13 secs -
Bills 2023 Offense Like This With Adam Henry Signed As WR Coach?
Niagara Dude replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
Really! Von Miller was our best pass rusher. After he went down we had almost no pass rush. -
Quote from Josh highlighting the Bills' flawed thinking...
Niagara Dude replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why, they have the QB and now need to provide him a line to protect him and multiple weapons. As for the defence, enough play makers that you're not the reason for losing and maybe that requires an aggressive minded DC which we don't have . So yes, I would want to be like them and Josh sees it. Beane and Sean would have been both gone by now had they not got Allen. Sean will end up getting fired because he was too weak to fire Frazier. I think if they blow it again next season , Pegula will move on. You cannot afford to waste Allen's best years on some Marvin Lewis clone -
Bills need to hit on picks to have a chance
Niagara Dude replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree with everything you said, Oliver does not make enough negative plays behind the line of scrimmage that outweigh the times he gets pushed back because of his lack of size. I would not pay him and would trade him for 3rd rounder, he was another reach/mistake by Beanne as was Epenesa & Boggie. That is a lot of draft capital we blew on d-Llne and then wants Allen to run for his life playing behind some garbage 0-line. As for safety, we have Hyde under contract for one more season, that is enough experience at that position. Time to add some speed/youth and lower salaries We had street guys that contributed more then some of Beanne's picks , who every pushed for Bernard should be fired; -

Niagara Dude replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bernard is a classic McDermott player, undersized and average speed with great character. He has bust written all over him, this guy is someone you take in 6th -7th round. It was also Sean who decided to pass on Mahomes who may end up being the best ever. Turning the program around will only get you so far when you are lucky enough to have a top 3-4 QB. He needs to adjust and stop with these choices so focused on high character guys -
Shocking that not one team is interested in Frazier, Frazier need to understand that weak conservative assistants almost never get considered for HC positions. I also believe that Sean will end up getting fired if he continues to cover for him. Firing your safety assistant coach is a sign of weakness not do what is best for the team

Niagara Dude replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would consider trading Oliver, he is undersized who is not consistent enough to be given a huge salary. I would also let Poyer walk because he will be 32 and we cannot continue adding salary and kicking money down the road. Not sure what you would even get for White because he did not look good returning from that injury, I could see some team giving us 3rd or 4th rounder for Davis. Either way Beane needs to add more starters playing one rookie deals -

Niagara Dude replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
You mean the draft when they trade pick that turned out to be Mahomes because Sean wanted a Defensive player -
KC not only has Mahomes they have a GM that is killing it with smart trades/value free agent signings and most importantly drafting. All but 2 of the Chiefs draft picks from last year were starters this year. They have another 12 picks in this coming draft, so unless Beane starts hitting on picks then the Chiefs will be tough to beat because they will always have a solid cap situation(14 mllion in cap before making any adjustments) to add top free agents with so many players/starters playing on rookie deals. We waste a 3rd rounder on a small/average speed LB in Bernard who almost never saw the field while the Chiefs took 3 players after who all started including RB Pacheco The fact is Beane has not been very good drafting, many busts with early round picks and were falling behind because of it.

Josh Allen massive favorite in odds to win 2023 NFL MVP
Niagara Dude replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Unless Beanne gets at least one new starting lineman and adds more speed to skilled offensive positions then no -
How do you know we beat both Bengals and Rams, but if your not going to forget then you need to highlight why we lost in KC. We lost because out HC and DC choked with 13 secs left and you don't get do overs. How times has Frazier's defences cost this Bills team in the playoffs and how many times do we listen to Sean saying will learn from this but never fires Frazier
-
Sean is the new Marvin Lewis, great regular seasons and then flat come playoff time. Unless he changes his thinking on the defensive side of the ball then it will be tough come playoff time with Mahomes/Burrows in the AFC. I also think Beane needs to start investing more into speed, you cannot teach speed. Stop drafting high motor unsized guys with average speed, Terrel Bernard is a another classic example. 3rd rounder who is small with average speed, did he even play this season? Looks like another reach and potential bust.

Rihanna-A boring halftime performance
Niagara Dude replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
Should have just repeated the amazing show from last season. -
He is another bust, just like Ford. Slow and undersized this guy will never make it and these are the kind of picks that have held the team back Our DC does not put our players in position to succeed and our playoff game was a prime example. Frazier did nothing against the Bengals to take advantage of 3 starters on their line missing , KC's DC used schemes to engineer mismatches and sacks. They got to Borrows all night long. An example was the first sack on the 2nd drive. They walk up Bolton up over the center, which forces Karras to make a 5-0 call (fist in the air) which means man blocking the 5 most dangerous. In this case that means Karras has to account for Bolton as a threat in the A-gap - can't leave him unblocked, while leaving Gay unblocked. This prevents the line from going to a half-slide right where they could get Karras on Jones, Scharping on Clark, and leave Adeniji free for Gay if he blitzes off the edge. This instead makes Cincy adjust AFTER the snap, once they've seen Bolton drop. You can see after the snap, Karras pauses to react to Bolton and Adeniji is initially focused on Clark. By then it's too late and Adeniji is too slow to get back and pick up Gay's speed off the edge. I am telling everyone that Frazier's defences may put up stats in the regular season but how many games are we playing against top QB'S? If the Bills expect to ever make it to the Super Bowl they will need to get past elite QB'S

How many chances will McDermott get?
Niagara Dude replied to Awwufelloff's topic in The Stadium Wall
They fired Andy Reid and he will get fired to if the playoff losing continues. How many times can you tell the media "we will learn from this" and then repeat again the next season. They are barely slowing down offences with elite QB'S , get Allen real weapons outside of Diggs. -

Niagara Dude replied to Awwufelloff's topic in The Stadium Wall
It amazes me Sean can still keep Frazier around, the stats he boasts are from regular season and mean nothing compared to playoffs Not surprised id some of this is direct from Allen, they are good friends. It was Allen who asked Beane to bring back Brown and Beasley -

I hope Pegula has advisers outside of the team, they cannot waste his best years watching him take massive hits running the ball because they have no elite db's or continue to expect 5th and 6th round draft picks to be able to win and get separation as a WR -
How many chances will McDermott get?
Niagara Dude replied to Awwufelloff's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree, he was on point. Sean needs to understand that they cannot keep making excuses or expect Josh to do everything while they investment everything on defensive side of the ball and they still suck bad. The performance was pathetic and was at home , enough with this we will learn from this nonsense. He said that last season He is good friends with Josh, some of those words could be coming from Allen himself. Why does he know so much about what has gone on and the details about weapons or Burrow/Mahomes are not asked to do as much. Davis was a 5th rounder, how many picks has Sean/Beane blown on defence and they still suck. -

Michael F. Florio @MichaelFFlorio · 9h Replying to @MichaelFFlorio Sean McDermott likely isn’t going to go anywhere but for someone whose top qualities are leadership and defensive prowess … he always seems to get out coached in the big games and the defense always seems to be the ones crumbling 12 71 644 50.3K Michael F. Florio @MichaelFFlorio · 9h The last four playoff exits: blew a multiple score 2nd half lead, blown out by KC, 13 second kickoff and yesterday. The defense can bully bad teams in the regular season but can’t stop a good offense when they have too At this point it’s a trend. An inexcusable one at that 6 59 583 44.8K Michael F. Florio @MichaelFFlorio · 9h Brandon Beane gets such high regard for finding Allen … but that 2018 class was the last of his that had ANY pro bowl players. So much capital has been wasted on undersized d lineman who can’t generate pressure against a backup o line 9 47 474 42.8K Michael F. Florio @MichaelFFlorio · 9h They drafted a CB in the 1st and were too scared to use him for most of the year despite the secondary issues. The big addition to the offense was pass catching RBs … only to never throw the ball to the RBs. The o line got ignored despite clear issues 4 40 504 38.7K Michael F. Florio @MichaelFFlorio · 9h And that’s the frustrating part - it’s like there was no real plan. The game plan didn’t fit the personnel at all. The Bills receiver room had 2 receivers who could win outside or downfield and a bunch of slot guys - and then operated an offense built around the deep ball 3 38 417 36.5K Michael F. Florio @MichaelFFlorio · 9h There was no quick pass aspect to this offense all year. Slot WR role vanished. Allen was expected to scramble to avoid pressure and find someone deep. Florio @MichaelFFlorio · 9h The Bills hired a first year play caller in the most offensive driven era in NFL history, in their championship window, despite one not having won a Super Bowl in over 30 years. Turnovers have been an issue, but that’s to be expected when Allen is asked to match Mahomes/Burrow stats with his arm while also being the teams RB1. It’s a ton to ask of any player. Especially with this play calling 6 49 460 31.4K Michael F. Florio @MichaelFFlorio · 9h The approach to building this team needs to change. It’s absolutely inexcusable The Bills were dominated in a way they haven’t been in years. No juice… what are we doing here! -
No team in the ACF is in a better situation than the Bengals, so many star elite players on rookie deals and they have hit on many of their picks . The biggest thing is the Bengals have a projected 43million in cap space for next season. The Bills are negative cap space and have many holes, not a great situation after they beat us in Buffalo.
