I can tell you I got very little sleep after Sunday night loss to Cincy, Monday night loss to Broncos and again Sunday evening loss to Philly. That game was not over until after 8 and I get so emotionally drained and pissed off I ended up getting very little sleep. I am fine with 80% of the Bills games next season at 1pm Sunday

Random talking head says something about the Bills
Niagara Dude replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Basically everything he said was true and now you have to question Beane for not seeing this. Yes the offence struggled all last season and Beane expected it to improve by signing scrubs for WR help? Keep in mind they were so desperate last year that the Bills brought back both Brown and Beasely to finish the year. On the defensive side , yes Miller relies on speed/bending around tackles and that is not happening with that knee. End of the day had Beane improved the offence by signing Hopkins and not continue to talk up Gabe Davis as a true #2 WR then the offence improves from last season and Bills win a couple of those games from the Denver/Jets and Pats losses. The defence has always sucked and just put up stats against trash QB'S. The Bills success the past 3-4 years has always been just running up the score and being up 3-4 TD'S in the 4th quarter that you never had to worry about last drive comebacks. Like how many times have Davis and Allen not been on the same page and it cost us, Davis is a terrible route runner and is at best a #3 WR in this league. For me Pegula has to insist with Beane and McDermott that they focus this offseason and improving the offence and resources are directed to that side of the ball. We have enough young guys on defence to be ok and that is all you need in this league if you have a lights out offence. Draft or sign a big DT so teams cannot run the ball and kill clock and just go out there and score. They lost Sunday because they took their time scoring on that last drive when they should have been going 2 min offence so you leave yourself time for one more possession. Did the same thing in other late game losses -
Von Miller faces arrest in domestic violence case in Dallas

Don't get me wrong, I never expected him to go to jail. This could end his career or whatever remaining time he had left and he could lose guaranteed money. -

I am just giving state laws, this could go away but it won't go away in days by her withdrawing her claims -

About the Texas “No Drop” Policy Texas has passed legislation to make sure that domestic violence charges are taken very seriously. Our state’s “no drop” policy means that, even if someone in your household wants to drop domestic violence charges, they do not have the power to do so on their own. Domestic violence charges are brought by the prosecutor—not the alleged victim of domestic violence. Under Texas law, it’s the prosecutor’s decision whether to drop charges. Even if the alleged victim later changes their mind, they do not have the authority to drop charges on their own. Instead, the prosecutor must be persuaded to drop the assault charges. It’s not impossible to accomplish, but it requires specific legal action and strategy. Convincing a Prosecutor to Drop Domestic Violence Charges Your partner or household member can’t decide to drop charges on their own, so your lawyer may need to emphasize other facts of your case. Each case is different, but a lawyer may emphasize a client’s lack of any past criminal record. They may also look to the facts of the case to help convince prosecutors that the charges need to be dropped. Why Does Texas Have a “No Drop” Policy? Our state’s “no drop” policy is tied to psychological research about the nature of abusive relationships. Abusive relationships often follow a cycle of gradual escalation of violence until a dramatic and significant episode. That episode is often followed by a period of calm during which the abuser tries to make it up to their partner. Prosecutors are concerned that their clients will make statements directly after a violent episode, and then take them back when things are calm again—even though there’s likely to be a gradual escalation of violence in the future. Prosecutors are also concerned that abusive partners will pressure their victims into recanting out of fear. The state’s strict “no drop” policy is designed to protect against these situations. Von is in deep poop, he cannot just make this go away. -

Von Miller can get Mcdermott and key teammates to testify that Von has not hit anyone all year -
I agree and neither guy is capable of making the big play when you need it. Time to get younger, they could try either Elam or Benford and then sign a free agent/draft choice. I think if the Bills allow McDermott one more season, the condition would be that he hires a new DC that brings in a new scheme. Way too many late game losses and not just this season. That defence sucks and worthless when you go against top QB'S, both Poyer and Hyde made careers out of playing for McDermott and that conservative defence.

The Bills should have started retooling/rebuilding after 13secs, just like KC did. There is no reason to keep extending Poyer/Hyde and the gross money were spending other role players. What is more sickening is Beane giving Dawson Knox 14 million a season which is what Kelce makes. Beane has made some stupid choices signing guys and just handing out money like candy

So Beane is going to hire the bounty hunter, that is good news because he looks done both on the field and off -

Breane should have traded for Smith from the Bears and could have easily traded Edmunds to the Bears who they ended up signing as a free agent. This the Von Miller Damage dead money 2024- 32m- cap savings 8.6m dead money 2025- 15m -cap savings 8.4m dead money 2026 -9m - cap savings 17m dead money 2027 - 2.7m cap savings 30m It was a terrible signing when he could have gone after Smith from the Bears for less money and younger -

We cannot blame Beane for Miller getting hurt but Benne did not do enough background checks on Miller because there were reports of cocaine use by his former girlfriend and another baby mama. This was not a good signing based on noise of that and his age at the time of signing. The Raven got LB Roquan Smith for a second and 5th rounder, signed him for less money and he was 25 at the time of trade. That makes sense for both present and future, I never liked the idea of giving a guy 33 years old so much guaranteed money -

Miller has plenty of money to get this fixed, I am sure the Bills gave him 48 hours to clean this up. Any woman can accuse another mam , no one knows what happened for sure. Look at the Matt Araiza situation -
Just so many crazy things happen in some of these losses, 13 secs, Jefferson catch, 59 FG in the rain. Being a fan of the Bills has not been good for my mental health or sleep after games. Just seems like we have never been on the other side when we make the amazing comeback with McDermott as HC. That final pass should have been talked about in the huddle. If the they blitz and middle is open than go inside to the post , leaving it an option is a mistake and accident waiting to happen.

# 1 was pushing the Bills to trade down and give KC Mahomes so he can draft Trae White. LMAO

Despite wanting McDermott gone I could never cheer against the Bills. I really wished they had one more win right now because I think they would for sure make it. No room for error because of the many blown 4th quarter leads
-
Would you prefer we finish winning 4 of 5 games but Bills miss the playoffs because of AFC record or lose 3-4 of their final 5 and McDermott is fired? I think McDermott easily gets another year if the Bills win at least 4 of their final 5 games and finish 10-7. Finishing 9-8 would be borderline and Pegula could still give him another year unless he finds their are serious communication issues with between McDermott and players. Which means he has totally lost the room End of the day this Bills team has had more crazy late game heart breaking losses over the past 3 seasons than any team considered to be a contender in the NFL During that time they have had their offensive and defensive coordinators fired and special team cordinator removed or just left after the 13 secs debacle. The only thing left is firing and replacing the HC. It pains me to ever cheer for the team to lose but I also don't want to see anymore of these heart breaking defeats where coaching played a huge part. Plenty of McDermott fans will point to injuries and my response is the Bills were healthy against the Jets on opening night and were not ready to play that game even after Rogers went down. They somehow made Zac Wilson look good, just like they somehow made Mac Jones from the Pats look great. In regards to injuries the Bills have been very healthy on offensive side of the ball all season outside of Knox . So there are no excuses for losing to the Jets/Pats/Broncos. They win even 2 of those 3 games and there is great shape right now. The reality is, Pegula has spent a load of money on this roster and to finish 9-8 or 8-9 is not acceptable when you have a top 3 -4 NFL QB on your team

The decision that changed all the momentum
Niagara Dude replied to Rocbillsfan1's topic in The Stadium Wall
If he does not give Bass a try there then he going to ket called out for it. I see you point and agree that it gave Philly life because of field position but it's still a kick Bass has to make. The reality is on that drive Philly made adjustments and started running wide, again as usual we never adjusted and they ended up scoring 4 second half TD'S. This is why you hire a DC and not name yourself as the DC when your the HC. How can Mcdermott be the HC which requires full attention and also focus on adjustment on defensive side of the ball. It was a poor decision and Beane should have never allowed it to happen I thought the Bills play calling on OT drive is not very smart, we we're running the ball well on the series on go ahead TD drive and Philly adjusted by stacking the box on first downs. On that OT drive for a FG we had no success running on first down and when they had first down at Philly 26 they needed to put the ball in Allen's hands and not waste downs trying to run which they did on 1st and 10 and got next to nothing. It should have been pass/run option for Allen on 3 straight plays. He was cooking and Philly is not vert good in pass coverage , again another coaching mistake because they had to know there defence was not stopping Philly the way they were scoring in that second half. -
Who should coach this team in 2024?
Niagara Dude replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
McDermott will keep his job if he wins at least 4 out of the remaining 5 games, anything less and he is gone. The thing any football consultants would advise Pegula is if he wants a top coach then his best opportunity is now when Allen is still young and his prime. The Bills HC job will be the hottest job available because of Allen in his prime. He can't wait years for Mcdermott to figure it out, Allen's prime years are next 4-5 seasons As for McDermott, he have proven he can rebuild a team and get them to the playoffs. So I could see him mutually agreeing to part ways if he thinks he can get the Panthers HC job. It could work out for both parties because Terry would need to pay a portion of his salary and Panthers are already paying two other fired HC'S . -
LMAO, lets keep changing the rules until we win because out HC chokes in crunch time
