Allen should start with #1's
Niagara Dude replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Given our schuedule with many earily season road games against tough teams the Bills may start one of the other two guys to start the season to avoid destroying Allen's confidence. -
Are we now a pass first offense?
Niagara Dude replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
NE also uses the pass as a form of a run with quick short passes and give their guys to gain yards after the catch. I also think passing first makes McCoy even more dangerous because teams cannot load the box with 8-9 near the line . -
Our offense tonight looked modern, hope the pass first thinking continues because i liked what i saw. I know it is just the preseason but playing calling was a very pleasant change .

The pass to RAY RAY McLOUD, he is the only QB on the roster that makes that throw. The key to me is looked confident in the pocket despite lousy line play. -

Just looks the part, unlike EJ MANUEL he looks comfortable in the pocket. -
The kid can sling for sure and moves very well in the pocket, i like what saw tonight. The guy is not afraid to let it fly and i believe should start the season as our starter. His offensive line tonight were garbage and Robert Foster should be cut on Monday, the guy cannot track the ball and gave up on plays. The ball just explodes out of his hand, get him some receivers that can get open.

Is Zay Jones A “Lock” To Make The Roster
Niagara Dude replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I say the Bills give him one more season to get it together, he would have to be really bad to get cut in just his second season. WR'S sometimes take longer to develop, still remember his backwards moonwalk from the ground. -
Put him in the HOF

In this league you run the ball to set-up the loss, everyone knows this is a passing league. Ground and pound is for losers , time to move on from CAVEMAN football and sling it.

Why Do the Bills Need a New Stadium ??
Niagara Dude replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think what we have is great for an NFL game experience, sure they could add some luxury boxes to increase revenues . End of the day the on the field product is the most important and if Allen turns into a franchise QB then good things will follow. Having a new billion dollar plus stadium is not going to increase interest but a winning team with great QB will. -
End of the day everyone would love Shaddy to be cleared of these charges but if he is not then it may just accelerate the move from ground and pound offense to modern day passing. The good teams pass the football, playing conservative ground and pound gets you tossed come playoff time. Having Shaddy here means running on 1st and 2nd down and being predictable on offense and teams just put 8-9 guys in the box. We drafted Allen for his arm, go out there and make modern day throws.

Will not play unless starter goes down with an injury -
Wow, love how he tells Buffalo News that is planned on leaving after 20 years. The guy dicks around with the hired help and then tells Kim he did nothing, yes Russ was the magic koolaid man. Every season he would do something to sell the fans a garbage product, remember Russ was the clown that wanted Doug Whaley.

Losers of draft by NFL.COM Buffalo Bills: The Bills traded out of their No. 10 overall pick a year ago, passing on the chance to draft Patrick Mahomes or Deshaun Watson in favor of amassing draft capital. This season, the Bills usedsignificant draft capital to trade up for quarterback Josh Allen (moving from 12th overall to seventh). The kids would call that hustling backward, especially when Allen has an uphill climb just to surpass previous Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor's level of production. Bills fans will point to this being the first draft for GM Brandon Beane, who was hired last May, but that only emphasizes how tricky it is to come up with a cohesive roster when the GM and coach are always in flux. Allen could prove his skeptics wrong, and his athleticism is unquestionable, but Josh Rosen has clearly displayed a more obvious NFL skill set. Allen is reminiscent of a souped-up version of another Bills first-round quarterback: J.P. Losman, a player with accuracy issues who was a star in the pre-draft season because of his measurables. Losman was taken 22nd overall in the 2004 NFL Draft and proceeded to compile a 10-23 record in Buffalo.
