Why would anyone invest that much money into a guy 27 , who is undersized and coming off a off year? They gave up (2) #1 picks and then signed him sick level money, he may have 2-3 good seasons left in him. We are not talking about Bruce Smith or Reggie White here Just makes Beane look like a fool only getting a second rounder for Sammy who was only 23 when traded. Should have been min 1st rounder

Going 13-34 is pathetic numbers against guys who will be cut Saturday, i say trade or cut him and sign a vet to be 3rd string QB.

Those are garbage numbers , you're getting nothing for this guy.

You would almost have to include Hughes's big contract so you can pay the guy, then offer next year 2nd and following season 2nd & 3rd. Why do we have to give up a first? what did we get for Sammy ? Trades are rare in the NFL and unless you are trading for QB you never want to give up a first Sorry but at 27 he may only have 3 good seasons left, so (2) 2nd round picks and a 3rd but no first

Jerry Hughes plus a 2020 first rounder would be it, add about 8-9 mill to Jerry's salary and that brings you to about 18-20 mill a season Fact is we had one of worst pass rushes in the NFL, getting to QB is must in this league.

Sounds like bipolar, if he is not taking meds for this it can spiral out of control as we have seen on two separate occasions. Even leaving the Bills this season was another sign, he still would have made very good money and based on what our line looks like now they would have kept him around. Excellent move by the Bills, give him 3 quarters and move forward. Peterman is a loser choice, the guy should have be released after throwing 5 pics in one half last season. We need to get the Allen area started and no time better then now. Even if he has developing so so rookie year, the Bills are in great shape cap wise to surround him with better talent next season. I still think they could use an proven outside speed burner who can stretch the field. This alone will open up our running game.
