  1. This goes way back. Joe Ferguson was the QB. It was a great game. The Bills won. I don't remember who they played. But, it was a beautiful day and we decided to see if we could get some autographs after the game. So we walked around the back of the stadium to where the players parked their cars. Sure enough there were a bunch of players back there signing. Joe Ferguson was sitting on the back of his pickup truck, drinking a coke and signing autographs for all the kids. My son was 9 or 10 at the time. I said to my son , " Matt, this is Joe Ferguson the quarterback." My son said to Joe, " I'm the quarterback on my Vince Lombardi team." "well," said joe "if I give you my autograph, you better give me your autograph, you may be a famous quarterback someday." Well, they exchanged autographs and my son, Matt had a special moment to remember. Joe was the nicest, friendliest guy, but I'm not sure if that was really a coke he was drinking.
  2. Yes, we've got to admit that Stephon has been one of the best WR's in the league and was instrumental in Josh's growth as an elite NFL QB. But, he likes to stir the pot, maintain the drama so that he's the center of attention. Whether, its staying away from OTA's, writing cryptic messages on Twitter, or sometimes just remaining silent, so that he keeps people guessing as to what is going on. Right now we don't need that kind of drama.
  3. go to a night game or a game later in the season when it might be a bit cooler!
  4. Did not see Keon there.
  5. You know the event is for fun and for a great charity, but Josh Allen, again displayed what a talented athlete he is. While most of his competitors struggled to hit 2 or 3 homers, Josh belted a total of 15 homers in the 2 rounds of competition. He is amazing.
  6. Jet's QB pick, Jordan Travis's highlight film clip was actually a highlight clip of great Keon Coleman receptions.
  7. I feel blessed that we are getting all this expert, inside knowledge about how Beane is making bad decisions on who to select in this draft. We have people on this board that absolutely know which players will be successful and which ones won't. A true gift for sure.
  8. Beane would not have traded Diggs without a plan already worked out that would get the Bills a WR1, whoever that is, is the question.
  9. If one of the top 3 receivers slides back to somewhere in the 15-18 range I would definitely draft him. We"re probably losing Diggs next year and odds are that next year's first round pick would probably be in the 28-32 range. So, if we don't make the move this year, we would have to next year. Will the WR's in the draft next year be better?
  10. When we lost Floyd, and now they signed Samual, I would expect they go defense with the first pick with a guy like Chop.
  11. I guess that means CHOP is our first pick in the draft.
  12. I would guess he sees his close friends suddenly leaving and thinking it easily could be him.
  13. Back in the day of Kelly and Marino, each year they had The Battle of NFL Quarterbacks on TV. The top QB's would try to hit various targets, both stationary and moving, at various distances. I am not a Dolphin's fan, but I remember Marino blowing away all the other QB's by a lot. No other QB was even close to his accuracy. He was uncanny.
  14. I had 5 and 2. Never thought I would win with those two numbers.
  15. Some are talking about the play calling . We know the OC does that. What does the quarterback coach do? Especially when you have a veteran, very talented quarterback.
  16. If Josh played in the pro-bowl dodgeball game, with his arm, he could seriously injure somebody.
  17. We all know that BB is not coming to Buffalo, but it just boggles the mind that with BB's defensive genius and a Josh Allen led offense what they could do.
  18. He doesn't want to retire and I think he would be a lousy TV game commentator.
  19. With a Josh Allen led offense and a Belichick directed defense, the Bills would be unbeatable.
  20. Is Purdy old enough to shave yet? He looks like he might be 17 years old.
  21. I know many people say all-pro doesn't matter, but it really bugs me how the AFC is generally disrespected. This year, the number of NFC players voted in outnumber the AFC by almost a 2 to 1 margin. Dallas (whose butts were kicked by the Bills) have 8 players voted to first and second teams. Hard to believe. Buffalo has one second teamer , Taron Johnson. Dak Prescott voted over Josh Allen. Hard to believe.
  22. Maybe Dhop money would be a lot more than they wanted to spend on one player. I don't know what Dhop's deal was.
  23. I think we also were wrong when many on this board criticized Beane for getting Harty, Sherfield, and Rapp. Said many, what have these guys done for the Bills? Well, I guess, this last game proved Beane Knows what he's doing.
  24. I agree!
