terrible, terrible ending to a game.

great play

Nico Collins is one of the best receivers in the NFL and has burned quite a few veteran safeties in the league, as well as Bishop, give the kid a break. There aren't any DB's in the league that don't get beat occasionally, even the best all-pros. Good wr's are just too talented and have the advantage.
-
I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this before, but wasn't it surprising that we didn't have a DB on the field that that could catch 250 pound Derrick Henry run practically the whole length of the field. I think it was said that run was one of his longest runs ever, probably because most teams have a DB that could take him down before he gets to the end zone. I don't think anyone got even close to him.

I don't understand why you have any offensive players on the kickoff team. I would think you would want say your backup LBs, CBs and Safeties on the kickoff team.

In the first series against the Bears, KC DB’s got flagged 3 times for holding. Do you think the word is out to stop KC from holding?

What is your drink limit before you get behind the wheel?

One. But, when eating a meal I might have two. -
Used to be a season ticket holder and loved it. Now being older we migrate down to Florida for the winter. So, on game day I'm sitting on my recliner with my laptop on my lap watching the Bills and also watching Red Zone on the big screen TV. Also on the side, I do a little wagering on Draftkings. I love it. Can't wait for the season to start.

When many are trying to tear Josh Allen down, remember this game that will go down in NFL history. 2022 playoff game Buffalo 47- Patriots 17 1. The Bills scored TD's on seven straight possessions. 2. The Bills never punted, turned the ball over, or faced a 4th down. 3. Josh threw more TD passes (5) than incomplete passes (4) 4. The Bills had 51 offensive plays and only two plays were negative and those two were Josh's kneeldowns. When the "experts" try to convince us that Josh doesn't play well in the playoffs, this is one example that totally contradicts that. This game was the greatest offensive game ever played in NFL history since the beginning of the superbowl era.

Has anyone gotten training camp “lottery” tickets yet?

No training camp tickets? It's Josh Allen's fault. -
Who was your all-time favorite player that was NOT on the Bills?

I'm really starting to love this WR room. We quietly got better

I totally agree. I want this WR group to surprise and disappoint all those naysayers. -
This goes way back. Joe Ferguson was the QB. It was a great game. The Bills won. I don't remember who they played. But, it was a beautiful day and we decided to see if we could get some autographs after the game. So we walked around the back of the stadium to where the players parked their cars. Sure enough there were a bunch of players back there signing. Joe Ferguson was sitting on the back of his pickup truck, drinking a coke and signing autographs for all the kids. My son was 9 or 10 at the time. I said to my son , " Matt, this is Joe Ferguson the quarterback." My son said to Joe, " I'm the quarterback on my Vince Lombardi team." "well," said joe "if I give you my autograph, you better give me your autograph, you may be a famous quarterback someday." Well, they exchanged autographs and my son, Matt had a special moment to remember. Joe was the nicest, friendliest guy, but I'm not sure if that was really a coke he was drinking.

Yes, we've got to admit that Stephon has been one of the best WR's in the league and was instrumental in Josh's growth as an elite NFL QB. But, he likes to stir the pot, maintain the drama so that he's the center of attention. Whether, its staying away from OTA's, writing cryptic messages on Twitter, or sometimes just remaining silent, so that he keeps people guessing as to what is going on. Right now we don't need that kind of drama.

go to a night game or a game later in the season when it might be a bit cooler!

Did not see Keon there.

You know the event is for fun and for a great charity, but Josh Allen, again displayed what a talented athlete he is. While most of his competitors struggled to hit 2 or 3 homers, Josh belted a total of 15 homers in the 2 rounds of competition. He is amazing.

Live 2024 NFL Draft thread - Rounds 4-7 (Do NOT tip the Bills pick)
tomur67 replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall
Jet's QB pick, Jordan Travis's highlight film clip was actually a highlight clip of great Keon Coleman receptions. -
I feel blessed that we are getting all this expert, inside knowledge about how Beane is making bad decisions on who to select in this draft. We have people on this board that absolutely know which players will be successful and which ones won't. A true gift for sure.

Tom Brady picks the next QB to win their 1st Super Bowl
tomur67 replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
brady is standing on a hill. -
Beane would not have traded Diggs without a plan already worked out that would get the Bills a WR1, whoever that is, is the question.
-
If one of the top 3 receivers slides back to somewhere in the 15-18 range I would definitely draft him. We"re probably losing Diggs next year and odds are that next year's first round pick would probably be in the 28-32 range. So, if we don't make the move this year, we would have to next year. Will the WR's in the draft next year be better?
