  1. Glad to see that we are keeping our depth as well as making "splash" moves. Good job Whaley.
  2. Yes, because I don't post everyday my opinion is not as important as yours. My point is that if he is so versatile and such an awesome weapon, then why hasn't he put up very good stats?
  3. The point of a tight end is to catch the ball, gain yards and score touchdowns. Numbers are the point. What does he "force defenses to do with his versatility"? He is a better blocker than Chandler but not for 3X the salary.
  4. I don't get the fascination with Clay. Not a very good blocker, receiving numbers are less than Chandler's, with a better qb. I think that we could spend that money better like o-line help.
  5. O.K. What does Clay offer that would warrant paying him 3X what Chandler made? Neither is much of a blocker and both are similar receivers.
  6. I believe that I'm in the minority but I think that spending 8 million a year on Clay is way to much. His numbers over the last 4 years are worse than Chandlers. Clay 161 rec- 1809 yards- 14 td's Chandler 181 rec- 2112 yards- 17 td's
  7. Now I think that if we can just shore up the O-Line a little more we could make a serious run.
  8. Looking at his career stats....Wow. McCown has been in the league since 2002. His very good 2013 season seems to be an outlier. After that his BEST season was in 2005 with Arizona. 163-270, 60.4 pct., 1838 yards, 9 td's 11 int. 74.9 rating. That's his BEST season other than 2013.
  9. I have seen this "quarterback guru" on T.V. a few times and to me he seems like a fraud. He never says anything insightful, just the same cliche's that others use. It feels like he invented that title for himself and is making a living off it now. I think E.J. can be an average QB at best. He had some decent games but looking back even before J.J. Watt's pick six, you can see the receiver's were becoming very frustrated with his inaccuracy.
  10. I'm tired of hearing "every team does it". If every team does it wouldn't someone else get caught once in a while. Also I'm not believing that they got caught every time that they cheated. What else have they done that they didn't get caught at?
  11. I thought something was up with the QB situation when after Rex's first interview it was reported that he wasn't sold on the QB's here then after the second interview it didn't seem to be an issue. I think that they promised him they would bring someone in. My guess would be Bradford or Hoyer.
  12. Thanks for the welcome. Yes, the food down here is awesome except the wings. If you don't specifically ask for blue cheese they will bring you ranch. And sometimes they even come baked not fried. Horrible. The coolest thing is that it seems like every small town has just a water tower and a couple of houses and a sign of the NFL players that came from there. It's pretty awesome.
  13. What I find interesting is that, to my knowledge, no one has come out and defended him or said that he was a good guy. It seems that it has all been negative. I am beginning to believe that this was a blessing in disguise for us.
  14. One thing that I have learned over the years is to watch out for that Peter Pan picture, he pops up out of nowhere!
  15. I guess I needed bigger font. Lol
  16. I would just like to introduce myself to the board. I have read it practically everyday for about ten years but never commented until now, it seemed like the time is right. I have been a Bills fan for about 35 years. I was born and raised in Rochester but reside just outside New Orleans now. I have always wanted to get on here and talk Bills football but the negativity and put downs of others differing opinions caused me to hesitate. I decided to add my two cents and hopefully add some insight and humor.
