The models don't take into account that the Bills seem on the verge of quitting on Rex.

We have some really good talent on both sides of the ball. We are not so talented that we can constantly give away plays with stupid penalties on both sides of the ball. That's on the HC.

It's over. Does this team really have the look of a team that's going to come out fighting when their backs are against the wall? Or does it look like a team that will quit on the head coach after another loss or two?

At least the Sabres are going to be better this year......wait..what?

Anyone who thinks we are getting to 9-7 is delusional. 5-11 is much more likely.

Every year we keep saying that we are "mathematically" alive. We only are because there are still 9 games left. We suck and aren't going anywhere, like every year.

Rex isn't the answer. That should be clear to everyone already. He isn't going anywhere though because of the 5 years, 25 million contract. If you think coaching doesn't matter, look at the Dolphins.

The problem is the head coach, pure and simple. Look what he has done with a top 5 defense. Look at what the Jets are doing without him.

Because a 53rd guy might actually have the drive and desire to play and to play hard. And what they may do in the short term is help our sorry special teams. If its not worth mentioning than why did you bring it up?

Why keep him??? Outside of a TD catch in the opener, what has he done for $6 million? If Sammy gets healthy? When Sammy comes back and in the first game back he pulls, strains, tweaks, sprains something, we are again left with no healthy receivers.

I know that injuries happen to every team but this years Bills team seems really soft.

I think the doom and gloom comes from seeing what we would do if we made it into the wildcard game. Against playoff caliber teams we have looked way over matched.

Stop saying the pass caused his injury. Receivers in every game have to adjust to passes that are a little off line. Sammy is the only one on crutches after it though.

Maybe the Bills should call Sammy's agent and tell him that they need at least 10 plays a game from him.

I think Sammy and Goodwin are made from the same piece of glass.

What's so surprising is that the front 7 seem confused on almost every third down. They never seem to be ready when the ball is snapped.

The guy that caught him from behind was within 25 yards.

As others have said, it's the timing. You haven't played in a few weeks and you involved your agent? That screams immature. In his one big game in the NFL he got caught from behind celebrating too early. Later in that same game he celebrated again too early although he didn't get caught. Sammy needs to learn that he is a "professional " football player and keep things in house.

I think he means that he's one of those dudes who doesn't have a job because it would interfere with gym time.

Drove up from the Mississippi Gulf Coast for the game. I couldn't believe how many Bills fans were there. In recent years I have been to the Bills games in New Orleans and Dallas and this was by far the most Bills fans at an away game. Nashville is an awesome city and the people were great. The Bills fans had taken over downtown Saturday night and I have never heard so many drunken versions of the shout song before. The weather was perfect and the Bills finally got a W at a game I went to. Great weekend.

The only lack of discipline that concerns me is the constant penalties. They are killing us.
