I think many people are overestimating the couple of good games that Watson had last year. We seem to gripe about accuracy and turnovers on here quite a bit and Watson was inaccurate and a turnover machine in college. If he can continue to be successful when D-Coordinators game plan for him (they didn't last year) then he has a chance to be special. Seeing him on all these lists of the top players in the league on television and people talking about him like he is a superstar seems a bit premature imo.

Whenever I go back to visit family in Western NY iI'm always surprised at the economic complaints as they relate to politics. All I hear is the complaints about politicians who keep raising taxes and run off businesses and manufacturers, but you keep voting for the same people, who promised to raise taxes and punish businesses and manufacturers.

Yea, they can have him. While Belichick has proven to be an X's and O's genius, his drafting strategy is usually terrible.

Allen seems to be comparable to Matthew Stafford, who only competed 56% in college but fixed some things and is a franchise QB. So the possibility is there.

Other positions have less risk of failure than QB. It has been proven that teams can win without a "franchise QB". Like last year for instance.

Use our picks to fill out the roster with young talent. I don't see any of these QB's with significantly more upside than Mccarron. JMO

Being in law enforcement in the New Orleans area for over 20 years, that stuff happens a hundred times every weekend. That looked to me like a reaction to somebody trying to mix spice but didn’t have the chemical mixture correct. These aren’t rocket scientists doing this stuff.

This is just a ridiculous statement. The guy has hardly played and was a rookie. There is plenty of film of him in college making plays under pressure as well as some nice throws under pressure in the Colts game. He may or may not pan out but your "expert" opinion based on less than 2 full games of action is laughable.

There is no way that any of us know. The coaching staff seems to have some belief that he has potential.

I don't know about Mayfield being Brees. Do people realize that Drew Brees is a top 5 passer of all time?

Yes. My daughter attends Southern Miss so I have seen him play almost every game. Probably could be had in the 4th round.
