A team would have to be crazy to hire him as a D coordinator. He would undercut the head coach at every opportunity to try and get the HC job. Just like his dad used to do.

he seems like a good coach as a designer of an offense but not a very good leader. The Dolphins really seemed to quit on him the past several years once they were eliminated from the playoff chase. That's one thing you have to credit McDermott for. The Bills never quit no matter what their record.

Thank you. I'm in Gulfport and it's just as bad. When I moved here in 96 I wanted to root for the Saints as my second favorite team. The fans made it impossible. Every one of them swears that they are lifelong fans and have been to every game since they became a team but nobody went to the games or even cared about them before Brees and Payton and they even turned on them a couple of years ago even though they all swear they didn't now.

It’s not about the top of the draft. The experts find the UFAs like Foster or Andre Reed at Kutztown State. We all know the top players but they know everyone. I disagree that they are just as bad as you and I.

I think he will be great. The experts predicted that he would have such a long learning curve because he didn't play with or against future NFL talent in college like most QB's in power 5 conferences do. It seems like he caught up much faster than most expected.

Hopefully the QB needy teams will fall in love with a few of this years prospects and move up in front of us to push a few top guys down to #9.

You’re correct. I should have stated “earlier in the year”. I think Coughlin was suspect of this latest injury. I believe he missed 8 games this year.

I think it has more to do with the Jaguars belief that Fournette's hamstring was healed 3 weeks ago and he just won't play. He was never a team guy at LSU and it appears that he isn't in Jacksonville. Coughlin is an old school, team first guy.

I agree with most of what you wrote. I was surprised at how easily our D Line got pushed around. Edmunds and Allen I chalk it up to a learning experience. You can’t expect young rookies not to look lost against a team like New England. It is obvious to see that that are at the end of their run though. Gronk is done and Brady isn’t far behind. We will be fighting the Jets for the division starting next year.

I hope they bring Barkley back but also Anderson in some sort of mentor role. Look at Allen before DA got here and after. He's definitely improved since DA's arrival.

I would disagree with you. Bruce disappeared in quite a few big games but Thurman played huge in big games.

You beat me to it. I think his propensity to try for the big play and not taking the easy checkdowns will always affect his completion percentage. But remember how we always hated Manuel and Edwards for always checking down?

That's why I laughed at all the experts on this board who claimed they "broke down his tape" at Wyoming after we drafted him and proclaimed that he would never succeed. He still has a long way to go but you can definitely see the tools and why he was selected so high.

I've been to the Superdome, Jerry World, Nashville, Jacksonville, Houston and Tampa when the Bills have been there. Dallas is by far the nicest of those but Tennessee would be a good copy for the Bills. It's a nice, basic stadium with a few amenities but not over the top like Dallas.
