I feel it would be tough for Mcd and Beane to say Goodbye for a good soldier like Matt. I wonder if the family bonds this team preaches in the locker room make things a lot harder when you get closer to the end. Basically saying Matt we love what you have done for the organization but we need something more.

Now why I will not pull for the Chiefs, Mahomes is becoming increasely whiney in games. Their fans are annoying because Mahomes and Reid are Gods and as long as they are together they will win the next 10 straight super bowls. Unfortunately it is what it is until someone knocks them off their feet. Tyreek Hill. Sammy Watkins- seems to sit about a dozen games in the season yet ready to go for the Super Bowl. I actually like Kelce and and Reid. For whatever reasons though Reid’s has been and is being mightily tested with his family life. The Chiefs are now in our path to achieving our ultimate goal.

Listening to Pat Mcafee he mentions that many players around the league don’t even tune into the game and just catch the highlights which I found interesting. I’d be curious to know how many Nfl fans that choose to not watch the game just because their team isn’t playing.

Thanks for this. That was awesome to watch. I’ve become a daily listener of Pat. Pat brings a lot of great guests in. Aaron Rodgers would come in every Tuesday and both are always quite candid with what’s happening in the league. I feel like you peel back the skin of Mcd and underneath is something like the T-800 Terminator. Much better than his weekly PC. I don’t always agree with his decisions but I come away thinking he is a very smart man. Its good for being a defensive guy that’s he is willing to adapt to how the Nfl is evolving. I mean nothing earth shattering there but I bet some coaches still out there will get left behind with old school thinking on both sides of the ball. As long as sticks to what he preaches. That he is constantly learning from his mistakes and how he can be a better coach for us I think we are in good hands. Ideally enough going back one season Lions probably could have traded Stafford, Drafted Herbert and not wasted one last year with Patricia. But what do we know. I think the Lions won the deal. Stafford is solid but I would be concerned with his health. . I mean he broke his back. Lions fans are loving the draft hall and already counting the days until they cut Goff and and his his contract. They are veiwing this a a Stop gap Qb.

I actually think Josh and the passing game masked a lot of deficiencies in our offense for the whole season and it caught up to us against Kc. When they took that away with their physical play we couldn’t rely on a running game. There is some good insight from the all 22 of our piss poor line play and Knox. At this point Josh isn’t going anywhere for a long time. But I would suggest Stop watching Skip Bayless. There is a lot better insight out there.

Thank you. In one of our first two games either against Indy or Baltimore I was able to catch a replay and I got a look at Knox running his route. It looked pretty bad enough for me to question it in a post and I was hoping someone would take a look for him on film review. It’s not good because he if he’s not demanding respect out there then if affects both our passing game and running game. Right now we send Diggs and Smoke deep and the others run crossing routes which take time to develop. We need a tight end end who can draw linebackers away from our run game as a pass threat. Sounds like his blocking was poor too. Next year will be an important year for him and what he can be. I imagine we have to roll with him once more due to the cap. But his game has to get better quick.

The Nfl decided to pretty much throw the flags away and just let them go at it. Kc pretty much mauled our receivers all over the field. We chose not to play that type of ball and it just manifested at the end. We should have had Milano or someone at least pop Kelce every single time off the line. Disrupt him, throw off timing, inflict some physicality.. anything We just sat back.

I can’t see Sherman coming here. His price probably would be too high considering our other needs. I think we need to continue to develop our own opposite Trey. I would like to see more Dane Jackson next year .

I am over the loss. It was an awesome ride to this point. I will just miss most the excitement of watching our team play week in and week out. It was a great distraction from Covid. Very pumped to see what happens this off-season and heading back into September!

Using the word choke is way to harsh and ignoring every other area of the Team last night. Those points have already been discussed. Josh has things to work on. He pressed at times. He even said as much. Did his play single handedly lose this game for us no. Could he have won it for us-no. We are not there yet.

This game was fun for all of nine seconds. Special teams turnover touchdown. Then boink..9-0 Heck of a job from the Chiefs taking our receivers out of the game. It was easy to see from many of the replays the tight coverage coupled with piss poor o line play tonight. Not absolving Josh from some dumb decisions throwing into double coverage vs underneath but I bet more often than not our guys lost the battle. Disappointed that we didn’t do something more on defence. At the very least you have to take either Kelce or Hill out of the game. I’d have two guys on Kelce at all times and live and die with it. Because what we did today was absolutely nothing. It was pitch and catch for them. If there is value at running back at pick 29-30 or Free Agency I’m not opposed. Devin is done. We are one dimensional until then. Rolling with Tj Yeldon in an AFC title game isn’t good enough.
