What happened to the slants to Diggs early on that worked. I mentioned this earlier in the game thread but there were a couple times cbs showed the play from behind. I was not impressed in that either our guys couldn’t get open within five yards or there was nothing really special designed to get guys open.

It’s like one screwup starting with a kickoff out of bounds just spirals this team out of control. I wonder why mentally these things happen over and over.. Like honestly just kick it out of bounds and let a 3rd stringer start on the 25. Thompson was not good against the Blitz and was far more willing to just throw the ball up. Numerous times on 3rd down we sent just four and he was able to patiently sit back and make something happen.

Oh We are cracking up at Morse.. pumping up the first down while the play is going on.

Leslie refuses to blitz on 3rd down and it’s killing is.

Watching the plays develop from behind the line make me think either the plays really suck or our Wr can’t get much separation in short areas.

Changes in the off-season might be worth at least the discussion.. I don’t know, this team is being held back in many areas.

Thompson is a bit of a mess when we blitz he is willing to throw the ball up anywhere… we can’t seem to get to home with just sending Four.

I kinda like spreading the field out and not bunching up the formation so close together.

Just so cool To see the Emotions from the Lions Players. It would have been very easy to maybe just throw it in knowing they had been eliminated. Hate the Nfl even had made that an option but on the other hand got to witness some real passion for the game.. they seem light years ahead of Lafleur and his squad.

It kinda sucks to see Detroit not get a shot…I think early on in the season they were learning how to win. Lost a number of closed games including Seattle. Then they get a taste of winning coupled with with belief in themselves translated from their head coach..They have some great young pieces drafted this year. I think they also receive the Rams first round pick. I think they will be a playoff team next year and should feel great about this season.
