Joss Allen is the most exciting breath of fresh air to come to this franchise since Kelly and I see a superstar ready to break out! He has improved so much from year one to two In aspects we wanted to see. He is now working his tail off on the deep ball. Once he nails that down look out.. I don’t need Josh to be Tom Brady or Mahomes. Let him play his game and we will be ok. i will stick to my observations and thoughts that he will be a top ten Qb over the next two years.

Dion Dawkins or Matt Milano

Mcd is defense. He can take water and turn it into wine. I feel much better with this staff finding a lb to fill that loss. Let's keep the o- line together. I think we will find ways to keep them all though.. -
I think your right, Devin is the guy but probably won’t see the type of carries that a Henry gets. I think we will showcase our receivers, tight ends , which will open things up for Devin. He won’t take a lot of abuse with his elusiveness. I’d still like to get a young big physical back to spell Devin once in a while, change of pace. Henry is a beast and was even stronger third and fourth quarter because he had been wearing down the opposing d up to that point. From a physical toll who wants to be tackling a massive Henry late in the game when he’s been pounding you all day. Frank was that guy and started strong but by end of year he wasn’t as effective. I wouldn’t mind a change of pace back to lay some hurt on those guys late However with that being said, it may not be a priority to them to find a guy early. I’m sure we grab one for depth unless their a no brainer chance to grab a good one when they draft. I’m not really caught up on the college class of backs. In Beane I trust.

Diggs will make all the difference in the world, the trickle down effect to open up Smoke and Beasley is going to be an eye opener in my opinion. Last year you take smoke out of the equation and then our core was kind of weak. It’s a testament to Smoke for the year he had. And it almost insanely important to get Knox involved too, we are going to some really favourable matchups . Devin will have some great opportunities as well with his shiftiness.

RB is a really GLARING need, right?
loveorhatembillsfan4life replied to Richard Noggin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with you. I think we are set at cb. I do worry some about the rb position, I’m not as sold on yeldon. I think we draft one for sure and we could go that route second round. What veterans are still out there? -
EJ Gaines is back!

If these guys stay healthy and seems like an "if" with a few, our defensive backfield will be one of the best -

Yeah your right. Keeping Gase was the first mistake. -

What is the criteria for Allen not working out? In my opinion Allen has to completely fall apart which is highly unlikely considering he has made incredible progress in two years. I think we all really need to define what we want in a franchise Qb because depending on your expectations we may or not have one. If your looking for a HALL of Famer, then only time will tell what Allen becomes. Most teams in the league don’t have elite qbs. For every Brees, Tom Brady Russell Wilson their is a dozen others like Matt Stafford, Matt Ryan , Carson Wentz. Guys who are in a second tier class that with proper team building you can win with. Even the titans are going all in on Tannehill. The guy barely made a pass in the postseason. The lions won’t ever cut bait with Stafford because he is a guy you can win with and qbs are hard to find. Where the lions failed was never really building a complete team around him. I honestly think they should draft Tua this year (while they have a shot) but they won’t because their is so much pressure in this league to win now. The redskins should even consider it but they probably won’t. My second point is that this team our team is built to win right now. And barring again another monumental collapse we won’t be drafting anywhere near a position to draft another Qb let alone find one in Free Agency. Beane for even the moves that haven’t worked out deserves a lot of credit for trying to build a complete team. He has put together a defense now going into year 4 I think that has remained pretty well intact. And while the offense had been ignored for the first few years he Has now put together some pretty nice studs at all the positions filled with veteran and youth. I would say he has now given Allen the tools to work with, much more so than other young qbs. So yes, a lot will depend on Allen. I think there is definitely a split with this board to what he will become I’m not at all worried. I think Allen is on a path far greater than some think. Again just my opinion. If the apocalypse should occur (unlikely) and we miserably fail, Then we need to know what went wrong and can it be fixed better.

Gurley to the Falcons

I think some of the more profile backs out there won’t come here to play behind devin. They may only have one more shot to prove their worth. -

I think coaching and ultimately unwise spending will bring them down. I could be wrong but lots of jets fans complaining not doing enough to help Darnold. -

They definitely played hard for Flores and will get their qb this draft. We are maybe a season or two ahead of them right now but it’s going to get competive really quick. -

Just read about the back and forth clown show with Slay and Matt Patricia. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s already lost the team. Players warning other free agents to stay away. It’s been awesome to see our culture and process take place from day one and steadily over time put us in a position that we haven’t been in years. Don’t look now but I see some good team building happening in Miami. Before we know it our rivalry may be renewed. -
All these FA signings - Any impactful?
loveorhatembillsfan4life replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We have big names everywhere, and then Beane plugs positions in of players who are asked to do 1/11 of their jobs. I'm not worried at all as MCD gets usually the best of his guys. -
I think Beane should take control of this virus.
