Whilst I’m impressed with what Keon produced I’m still concerned that the team as a whole lacks separation, I’m not sure that is sustainable success for a whole season. Props to #0. It seems Josh is trusting him in big moments which is all we can ask for!

9/7/25 Other games chat (Around the League)

I did see that and saw a piece on her when Jim Irsay passed away that she’s going to be front and center on the day to day operations of the team. Do you think it’ll last? or is it just like she elaborated when questioned about it; new ownership trying to see if the results are backing up the credentials (she wants to hear and see everything on game day)? Refreshing to see a completely left field way of doing it, even better when it showcases and owner concerned about the on field product as much as the revenues generated. -

lol Colts are that impressive… which tells me… 🤔 -
There’s a guy who is a huge soccer fan I know and made a parallel to Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in their primes for Josh and Mahomes. 2 of the best ever. If you’re finishing a team you take Mahomes (Ronaldo). If you’re starting with little to work with, you take Josh (Messi). I guess that quote by Montana reminded me of that.

Survivor League Week 1.......who ya got????

I made a bold move to go for the Giants over Washington in one of the two I’m in. Probably going to have egg on my face for that 😂 -
Saw the Pepsi one too during the season opener. Sucks cause it’s with J. Jetts. Oh what could have been…

Lol he is walking into a better situation and I am willing to be the culture is dofferent there than his last stop. Didn’t say explicitly what that would be but one would think an improvement. He has a QB that as a rookie is just as good as Tannehill was. Plenty of room to grow.

Ryan "Zeus" Fleming ESPN NFL Commercial Bills Fan

We’re all commercial Bills’ fans I guess! -
Sean hit on a QB and brought in a receiver to help. Don’t see leaps and bounds between the roster building as a whole as without Josh we are clearly an average team. Titans lost their average QB and left tackle to injuries and the guys they drafted never panned out. Wouldn’t say that was letting it deteriorate but I will agree his draft picks and player management clearly have to be questioned. They were an average team from Fisher to Vrabel and even during his succession and tenure as a HC they were always a team who capitalized on a weak division; not dissimilar to us in essence. I think, and this isn’t a knock on Sean, Vrabel would have the same success with Josh under center as we’ve seen the last few years. Only difference between here and Tennesse is the culture. Patriots organization should be different you would think. Again, not the biggest fan of Vrabel and do agree he’s overrated somewhat as a coach but the pieces haven’t fallen into place even with them trying. He’s walking into a better situation… Time will tell.

Agree. A captain for each unit; O/D/STs

Sleepers would be, at least for me; RBs: Mason (Vikes), Robinson Jr (49ers), Benson (Cards) WRs: Downs/Pittman (Colts), Higgins (Texans), Pearsall (49ers), Deebo (Commanders) TEs: Strange (Jags), Ferguson (Cowboys) All of those guys are either getting drafted in the last few rounds (Pearsall/Deebo/Mason/Robinson) or not at all. -

Id go with “Chase these Nuts” given there’s Jamar and then a trio of head cases. -
Whilst I agree with you on a standpoint, the team overall itself wasn’t exactly the same as Vrabel had. Talent level for those Titans was akin to what McD was working with during his first two; 9-7 & 6-10 Helps when you have a GM in synch with your vision and the QB to boot. This Pat team, whilst it doesn’t have the record from last year to show, is certainly above what he had in Tennessee. I’ll give him 2 years to judge whether it was solely the roster in during those 2 seasons or the combination of both Vrabel’s coaching ability and the team sheets.

They best start strong given 3 of their first 4 games are all divisional opponents lol

Jabrill’s draft day was an excellent adventure, now it seems to be a Bogus Journey… Who’s going to Face the Music?!

This is the #1 ranked team? Woof.

Yeah, what @Johnny Hammersticks said is one reason. The other; Adams. I think he poaches a lot of RZ production from him. Stafford is the main issue there, his volume will take a hit if he’s not playing. Still, he’s a solid choice for your #1 pick in a PPR league if you’re in a 12-14 team league, or better yet your second selection at the top of round 2. Personally, and I see this in all 3 of the leagues that have a $ buy-in, RBs are the prime market after Chase/Jefferson. The plethora of high end running backs is minimal; 8 to 14 (depending on the perspective). WRs there’s so many to get who’ll produce at least 10 points in a week to week basis. Look at Meyers in Vegas, dude is a top 20 WR the last 2 seasons but is going in the 8th to 9th rounds… If people are as bullish on Jeanty being as productive as the fantasy pools suggest then Meyers should have an increased production with average-at-worst Geno Smith throwing the ball. Calvin Ridley is another guy going around the 30th WR drafted mark. Crazy when you watch the connection Ward had with him in that preseason game he played. Deep dive into the stats for last year and he might turn into a Terry McLaurin-esque jump. Josh Downs and Shaheed are two others guys I’m keeping an eye on to acquire if they hit the trading blocks. -

No, Chase Brown went @ 15. CMC @ 19 after Drake London, AJ Brown and Josh Jacobs. I guess every league and players are different, otherworldly talent for fantasy and easily a top 3 guy if he finishes the season healthy. But that is resoundingly, for most, a big if. -

Sleeper is pretty solid, very clean interface and a load of tools like you’ve mentioned. Really above the rest of the field. My BML switched there last year. ESPN isn’t that far off, and we’ve used that for 6 years prior. Yahoo is solid. NFL Fantasy App is absolutely disgraceful. Question, how do you go about setting up the 2 matchups per week? That sounds very interesting and more fun for all the prop/side bets for each week!! -

Pick 11, Achane was my first pick given the only other RB for that area was CMC. WRs still had depth so the guy picking 12 and 13 was going to leave one of Amon/Nico/Nabers. He double dipped WR and took Nico/Amon. Nabers wouldn’t have been my first choice but Giants might be where they were last year and be forced to pass more often than not, Wilson/Winston/Dart is an improvement over Daniel Jones imo so I see him slotting around the same production as last year, if not better. Draft first 10 went: 1. Chase 2. Bijan 3. Gibbs 4. Jefferson 5. Saquon 6. CeeDee 7. Jeanty 8. Henry 9. Jonathon Taylor (wild) 10. Puka -
So what’s your feeling on that? The premise is running its course/getting stale? Or there’s just a lack of characters to be presented?
