But that is exactly when true greatness shows up. When you are the spark everyone else needs or looks for.
Herbert, for all his successes, doesn’t cut the mustard as a guy that the team whole heartedly relies upon when the chips are down and all in.
They need to the head case to actually worry less about himself and throwing a tantrum and worry about being a team first guy and shouldering some of the load whether he’s getting the ball or not.
He has the chance to be a big enough difference maker that they win the game.
I was reading a thread the other day that included conversation about Herbert.
People saying he’s legit, others saying he isn’t.
It’s weird because when you look at the stats he’s very impressive but even in those impressive games he’s just not passing the proverbial eye test.
Seems like it’s more disappointment with him until you’re looking at a stat sheet.
Both defenses look like they could pose a threat.
But offensively? Chargers just ain’t there man. They seem too easy to shut down. Houston has more dynamic players they can get the ball to.
Credit to Charles Davis…
He changed his pronunciation real quick to Kah-leel Mack after Ian Eagle told him Mack said “no no no no… it’s Kah-leel, not Kih-leel…”
