Not really a Mahomes/Allen post here… The thing that concerns me the most if I’m a Chiefs fan is that they just came off their bye week and played like absolute dog-sht. Not counting them out of anything by any means just if that is indeed an indicator better hope they get the #1 seed so they’re at Arrowhead come January. They really are the new Patriots, in a division that they just steamroll every year. Mahomes’ W/L against those teams is on the same trajectory Brady’s was. Dominance.

If their offense plays well you’re in for a long day when that defense can settle in especially if they get Woolen back, it might be a problem. That secondary could be number 1 comes the end of the season: Woolen/Witherspoon is a solid CB combo then you have Jenkins/Love which isn’t too shabby either.

This is it entirely. It seems to have run its course. And like @DrDawkinstein, @NewEra and @Solomon Grundy said; losing both Nate Burleson and Kay Adams was likely the nail in the coffin for quality.

I wonder if Ray Davis plays like he has the times he’s been inserted into the game will they be more likely to lowball James Cook instead of overpaying to keep the player’s services like yesteryears. That is thankfully not a thought for another year.

Stick a fork in that team if Tua isn’t back before week 9. For all the hate on Tyreek, the fact they don’t just force him the football is absurd. He had 2 targets. I bought some of the McDaniels hype but some of what he schemes without Tua is unwatchable football. I’ll give him credit, he turned Tua around and stuck with him to create a legit offense last season but wow, they’re a brutal watch even with all these brilliant skill position players.

Yeah, the irony is the teams they’re competing for on the AFC WC spots are the Steelers and Broncos, maybe the Bengals and Chargers too. They now have lost to 2 of those 4 teams. Door is closed on their season barring an absolute miracle of going 9-1 or 10-0.

If anyone trades for him I’d put money on Detroit. They got decent cap space the next 4 years, have a young team that are all pretty much locked up in either their rookie contracts or extensions and have all their day 1 & 2 draft picks for the foreseeable future. I know the contract is only 800k or whatever is reported but I’m factoring either a restructure or the future hits on the current deal

If they don’t blow the Broncos game and actually made better decisions in the second half of that Vikings game, this potential loss Pittsburgh is about to hand them wouldn’t feel like the season going down the pan.

At least from the last 3 games, the offense managed to actually stay on the field for reasonable period of time in the second half when compared to the first. What’s the snap/play count per half?
