  1. Not 100% sold on EJ but he's shown flashes of promise. After this past season with him sitting for most of it, I have hopes he has progressed and grown as a QB. The consensus of him coming out of college was that he was still pretty raw. Why people are ready to cast him to the side after being played way too early I will never know. I think the fact that he started his rookie season is testament to how badly our depth was behind Fitz. Either way, all the best to EJ and hopefully we have a QB for some years. If not? Back to the drawing board and connect the dots until we get there.
  2. Hilarious, I bet you would love some Le'Veon Bell on the Bills. LT was one of his own, the amount of backs of his size and stature don't actually translate to the main component in an offense.
  3. 1000, 1500 sounds like something Mayock would say anyway.
  4. Cameron worries me as being the top TE target for our, or any franchise. He had one good season. That's it. Injury after injury. If we're going to take a TE who came out of nowhere and produced I would rather it be the one of the two who plays for our division rival.
  5. 5.3sec 40 time made him a standout? I thought he ran it in 4.6 or there abouts? I think he's intriguing but everything I've read says he has had major holes in his blocking at Southern Illinois.
  6. The fact you listed two players which one decent player could suffice says enough. True but he did sign that 6 year extension not so long ago. I mean it is only a matter of time before he wants to restructure a new one and God help the Cheats when he does. That man, if he doesn't have any serious injury in that time frame, will command some serious bank.
  7. There's a few decent RB's available however I think the Bills should get on board with the J-Train! Those New Mexico, Colorado State and Nevada games... Yikes!
  8. Jay Ajayi, that is all.
  9. Hahaha, I'm talking at a worse possible scenario. And in the long run he may very well be better than Luck... You're right, that is the point. He handled it all a little suspect but he was after-all just a 20 year old boy... For crying out loud there is 35-40 year old men I know who can't even handle losing a game of cards or on a video game, let alone their profession. I think he'll handle it better than he has. The interviews at the combine have suggested nothing other than he's prepared to deal with whatever consequences his actions have - be it good or bad.
  10. Do I care for Winston? No particularly, I wish him the best in all his endeavors and the same goes for the team he ends up on. But to flat out say that one game where he completely collapsed should be defining of him as a QB? Get a grip. Every QB has bad games, it's whether they have the confidence and back bone to continue and strive to be the best. I don't know if Winston will succeed but I think he has just a good a shot as any in turning around a losing/below average program/team like the Bucs. He seems to have turned a corner, his interviews even suggest as much. He wants to and believes he can be one of the best. More power to the kid. I think he'll be - at worst - an average QB who can win you 4-6 games a year in a pinch.
  11. It wouldn't surprise me at all if no TE's were drafted in the first.
  12. That's my concern... EJ hasn't been given any time to sit but without a first rounder we should be willing to let Petty do so if he's our selection in either the second or third round? No thanks. We aren't far away from the Playoffs and I'd rather we acquire players in those two rounds that can step in and produce for this team at some point this season.
  13. Nope. No fourth rounder. Cleveland trade took our original one and the 4th we received in the SJ13 trade, we sent to Philly for Bryce Brown. We do have two fifth rounders though, so I'm sure a trade into the fourth isn't completely implausible. A QB in this draft would be nice but I would rather we use our second and third rounders on any of the following first: Running Back, Guard, Tight End and a pass rusher (providing Hughes isn't retained).
  14. Hopefully this doesn't happen. Sure MM may not be "ready" for the NFL but I think at some point down the line he has a good chance to succeed. Given Brady only has a few years left, I would rather that does not take place with the Jests.
  15. LOL Must be the nice guy part then.
  16. Was just about to say the same thing regarding the Duke's time. I only got to there just now, went back to watch Ajayi's 40. I quite like that kid from Boise State.
  17. Nelson Agholor and Justin Hardy looks promising. I'm intrigued to see which team they end up on and how well they perform throughout their careers.
  18. I knew what you meant, was just joshing. I fully expected our draft to be offense prior to the information that was being relayed to the media. Our deficiencies have been offense, I can only speculate but I feel we may only see one defensive player in our draft and that's in the last 3 rounds.
  19. Outright or just the Bills?!
  20. Correct me if I'm wrong but a lot of these tight ends are still pretty raw and don't have much history at the collegiate level.
  21. I seriously thought you may be joking... Tragically, you're not.
  22. They always do...
  23. So the Brees, Rivers, Big Ben and Kaep' threads/talk has been a waste of time?! Damn... I'm not sold on EJ but I definitely think it's wrong for us to be giving up on him so early in a career. He's shown some good and some downright awful but I'm willing to let him grow and learn the pro position for another season - as should anyone.
  24. Given the shift to Roman and the overall feel I've been reading of his schemes and play calling, Walford would certainly be the icing to what we've been asking for in terms of the position.
