Zero chance he plays this year, even if the Bills somehow made the Sueprbowl. They'd never risk re-tearing his ACL by rushing him back. They're probably targeting getting him able to train at full capacity during the early-to-mid offseason on his own, well before camp starts.

What about Arian Foster?
-
No, I think you're missing the point. The point is that we've already faced several of the best RBs in the league this season and Jamaal Charles is less of a threat than at least one of them. So who cares about Jamaal Charles?
-
It's not really debatable if you look at their stats. If the Bills can beat Forte they can beat Charles.
-
Everyone except Pears.
-
Matt Forte does all that and better than Jamaal Charles.
-
So let me get this straight: The Patriots currently have one more win than us with half the season still to go but their odds of making the playoffs are 3 times higher than ours? lmao
-
Sure. How many sacks did we give up? Is that a normal number to you? Should we plan on miracle wins and Geno Smith at QB every week?
Geno Smith isn't on the Lions, Dolphins, or Vikings. We've beaten 4 teams that are top 5 in the league in sacks. KC is no different than any of them. They have a strong run game(Miami), a weak passing game(Jets), an average run defense(Vikings), and a good pass defense(Dolphins/Vikings/Lions).
KC shouldn't pose any more difficulty than those games. They're certainly not going to show our Oline a defense with talents it hasn't seen before. If Orton can complete passes against the Jets' Dline than he can do it against an inferior Chiefs'. And Jamaal Charles? We've already faced the #2 ranked, #4 ranked, and #9 ranked rushing yards RBs this season. Charles is ranked 19th and has only been averaging 12 carries a game. Not super worried about him.
The Chiefs are not just beatable, they're whoopable in Ralph Wilson Stadium.

No team plays a perfect game. The Patriots have been winning for years by barely squeaking by in half their games. Who cares as long as the Bills win?
-
We have no running game….a team with a good pass rush is going to present problems IF…..we do not put in a few new offensive wrinkles.
You mean teams like the league's #2t sack leader Minnesota, the #3t ranked Jets, the #4t ranked Lions, and the #5t ranked Dolphins?
-
If the chiefs struggle to beat the Jets, even if they win, we might actually finally be favored for a week. I think we've only been favorites once this whole season.

I think even the biggest critics of Incognito would agree that he would be an instant upgrade over Pears. He doesn't have to be elite.
And considering he'd basically just be an 8-game rental to get us to the end of the season where we can address the G position more permanently, I really don't care about all the off-field stuff. Do people really think he would come in and poison the locker room in half a season? I don't. He'd essentially be playing for the paycheck and praying to god he did well enough and behaved enough for some team to take a flyer on him next year, otherwise his career is over for good.
I think it's stupid for the Bills not to sign him with the above in mind. We sign guys with off-field problems all the time. Probably more than any team in the league. When you haven't been to the playoffs in 14 years, you should be willing to try anything.
-
I'd never to go to an opposing teams' home game without a group of at least a half dozen guys.
-
I think they're required to have 4 days off plus the weekend. That's still big though imo. We have a lot of key players that have nagging injuries that might be effecting their play. Aaron Williams' wrist, Mario Williams' thumb, Kyle Williams' back, etc.
Those extra rest days come at a perfect time for us.
-
That's a low bar. A wet dishtowel is better than Pears.
Which is why I'll take pretty much anyone that would be an upgrade, even if it's a player that ran over 50 kittens with a motorcycle and posted the video on youtube.
-
According to Joe B, Richie is "blackballed" by the entire league. He's never playing again.
Yeah I heard that on radio. I was disappointed. Even at 34 and a nutjob he's still better than Pears.
-
I'm glad KC is playing a really physical defense(Jets) next weekend right before they play us. Our guys should be nice and rested.
-
It's going to be like the Detroit game. KC's defense is really good(#1 ranked pass defense and #3 overall). Luckily we're at home, coming off a BYE, and we've been playing KC really well the past couple years. I'm expecting a win.

*I* want Richie Incognito.

The 2014 Bills are giivng up more yards-per-game, more points-per-game, and more yards-per-play than the 1999 Bills did. But the game has changed and there's a lot more passing yards and higher scores, so it's hard to say. I think if Preston Brown continues to improve and when Kiko comes back, this unit will have the edge and probably be the best front 7 D the franchise has ever had.
-
I really don't think it's a laughing matter. The 2014 Bills are on the verge of making embarrassing wins the norm -- what self-respecting fan wants any part of that?
If they're not careful they may even make the playoffs like that. I'd have to find another team to start watching.
-
I think our safeties have been doing great.
I'd be willing to give up quite a bit to improve the Oline though.
-
I'll call you crazy.
Passrushers are worth a million times more than a G. And the backups benefit from Hughes and the starters getting the oline tired. They get to come in fresh.
Hughes is an animal and part of the strength of our team, the defense. I would not want to weaken them at all.
How about for a Tackle that's better than Cordy Glenn? If we had someone better than Glenn there would be zero reason not to push Glenn to another position. New guy = LT, Glenn = RT, Henderson = RG? With Urbik at LG. That one move could potentially upgrade 3 spots on the line.
-
Call me crazy, but I'd honestly be willing to trade Hughes for a top 5 guard. i think Hughes is an absolute stud, but I think one of the league's premiere guards would benefit this team more than the drop off from Hughes to Byrant/Wynn/Charles would hurt them.

I just want to state for the 50th time how freaking excited I am to see Kiko and Preston Brown on the field at the same time. Whether it's Spikes or Bradham rounding out the 3rd LB spot, they're going to be one of the best LB corps in the entire league next year imho.
