  1. Everyone of the fans who for years have defended this franchise need a huge wake-up/

This team is going nowhere and this FO is going to keep churning out the same crap year after year.

All I am saying is, wake up and save yourselves some frustraing Sundays.

I bet if you cry and overreact a little more something will change.

  2. I'll probably feel a littler better later this week but this game really hurt. More than any game of the season, probably because it felt like "the same old Bills" for the first time this season.

I had this marked as a must-win, so I'm pretty much convinced the Bills will miss the playoffs for the 15th year in a row. Up until this game I was confident we would make it. Even if we turn around and beat Miami I don't like our chances. All you have to do is look at the current standings in the AFC to see why a loss today killed us. I can't remember the last time there was this much competition for a Wildcard spot.

  3. There is no question that Henderson twitched two different times. It was slight. It didn't draw the Chiefs offsides. But he definitely moved a millimeter.

This. And Chander did extend his arm to create separation. Both were ticky tacky penalties that the refs sometimes call and sometimes don't.

The only really bad calls I was pissed about was the late hit out of bounds that wasn't called and a hold that wasn't called right in front of a ref that was on a huge play. Can't remember exactly which one.

  4. This is the first game of the season that felt like "the same old Bills" to me, even out of all our other losses. I'm beyond disappointed in this loss. That pretty much kills our playoff hopes in my mind. I know they're not technically eliminated but I had this marked down in an absolute must-win. With the tight race in the AFC this year for wildcard spots, our conference record and head-to-head losses against several teams in the race with us pretty much kill our chances.

  5. So, because Orton made some misthrows in the red zone to wide open receivers, the coach sucks? Interesting. Why can't Marrone and Hackett put Brady on the field? I wonder.

No, the coaches suck for running the ball down the defense's throat for 65 yards and then deciding to throw 4 times in a row on the 12 instead of, oh I don't know, running some more?

  6. Facing the best passing defense in the league who is also one of the worst rush defenses in the league.

1st and 10 on their 12 yard line: Pass 4 times for zero yards.

1st and 10 on their 4 yard line: pass 3 times for zero yards.

Nate Hackett is the worst redzone offensive coordinator in the league.

  7. Word that Sammy is iffy and now Kouandjio might be starting...ugh. this game is starting to feel like a big L to me. I see KC coming in confident like Cleveland was last night in Cinci. We haven't played very well in our last 3 home games.

I'm sure Marrone is hoping that's how the Chiefs feel too. They're not going to know what to do when Sammy ends up playing and has 2 TDs and 150+ yards on them Sunday.

  8. Randy Moss's first 8 games of his rookie season. 30 Receptions, 593 yards, 6 TDs

Sammy Watkins first 8 games. 38 receptions, 590 Yards, 5 TDs

His numbers are about equal half way through the season. It will be interesting to see what Sammy will do the second half of the season. GO Bills!!!

And just think, that was with EJ Manuel throwing to him for half the games and Randall Cunningham throwing to Moss all 8 games.

  9. Whenever I ask myself how good a WR really is, I walways ask "What would he be able to do with a top 5 QB throwing to him?" Sammy would put up Randy Moss-like rookie numbers with that kind of QB throwing to him.

So yes, I consider him a rookie "phenom." With even Kyle Orton throwing to him for all 8 games so far this season he'd probably have over 800 yards already.

  10. Here's to me never being infected by the fatalistic outlook known as Battered Buffalo Fan Syndrome that will leave me with the feeling of an inescapable chain of calamitous events.

I'm lucky, I've somehow been immune all these years.
