  1. I bet if you cry and overreact a little more something will change.
  2. I'll probably feel a littler better later this week but this game really hurt. More than any game of the season, probably because it felt like "the same old Bills" for the first time this season. I had this marked as a must-win, so I'm pretty much convinced the Bills will miss the playoffs for the 15th year in a row. Up until this game I was confident we would make it. Even if we turn around and beat Miami I don't like our chances. All you have to do is look at the current standings in the AFC to see why a loss today killed us. I can't remember the last time there was this much competition for a Wildcard spot.
  3. This. And Chander did extend his arm to create separation. Both were ticky tacky penalties that the refs sometimes call and sometimes don't. The only really bad calls I was pissed about was the late hit out of bounds that wasn't called and a hold that wasn't called right in front of a ref that was on a huge play. Can't remember exactly which one.
  4. It doesn't have to be one or the other. The players AND the coaches failed this game.
  5. This is the first game of the season that felt like "the same old Bills" to me, even out of all our other losses. I'm beyond disappointed in this loss. That pretty much kills our playoff hopes in my mind. I know they're not technically eliminated but I had this marked down in an absolute must-win. With the tight race in the AFC this year for wildcard spots, our conference record and head-to-head losses against several teams in the race with us pretty much kill our chances.
  6. No, the coaches suck for running the ball down the defense's throat for 65 yards and then deciding to throw 4 times in a row on the 12 instead of, oh I don't know, running some more?
  7. Facing the best passing defense in the league who is also one of the worst rush defenses in the league. 1st and 10 on their 12 yard line: Pass 4 times for zero yards. 1st and 10 on their 4 yard line: pass 3 times for zero yards. Nate Hackett is the worst redzone offensive coordinator in the league.
  8. Terez A. Paylor ‏@TerezPaylor 59m59 minutes ago #Chiefs coach Andy Reid says WR Donnie Avery, CB Jamell Fleming and LB Jerry Franklin will miss Sunday’s game against the Bills.
  9. So because he doesn't have to jump a foot in the air to catch a ball he's "not trying?"
  10. The best case scenario for Kyle Orton is that he continues to play well and starts for the Bills next season. The plan has always been(and still is) to develop EJ Manuel as the Bills' future starter.
  11. I'm sure Marrone is hoping that's how the Chiefs feel too. They're not going to know what to do when Sammy ends up playing and has 2 TDs and 150+ yards on them Sunday.
  12. Anyone who has actually watched Sammy and Benjamin should easily be able to say Sammy > Benjamin. Benjamin fails to catch balls that you know Sammy would pull in.
  13. Hey if Kujo ends up being an upgrade over Pears, even a small upgrade, I'll take it in a heartbeat. Kujo is still a rookie who hasn't played a game and can improve with experience. Pears is vet and he's not going to suddenly get better.
  14. This. if Richardson isn't ready then you need someone else to be active as a backup. Looks like that's Kujo.
  15. Didn't they bring in a new guard and draft 3 more lineman in the draft before the season started?
  16. I think people are saying that Sammy is on pace to match Moss's numbers so he IS that good.
  17. I'm far more confident we have a chance against GB at home than we do in Denver.
  18. And just think, that was with EJ Manuel throwing to him for half the games and Randall Cunningham throwing to Moss all 8 games.
  19. Whenever I ask myself how good a WR really is, I walways ask "What would he be able to do with a top 5 QB throwing to him?" Sammy would put up Randy Moss-like rookie numbers with that kind of QB throwing to him. So yes, I consider him a rookie "phenom." With even Kyle Orton throwing to him for all 8 games so far this season he'd probably have over 800 yards already.
  20. I'm lucky, I've somehow been immune all these years.
