  1. You nailed it, especially the missed roughing the kicker call.
  2. found it. Was David Patten, not Marcia.
  3. He was called for it last week against the Giants...
  4. ^ this. The Giants play calling on their last drive left much to be desired. Giving Marcia and the Pats** two minutes to pull out a victory usually does not end well for their opponent.
  5. Yours and other points taken. I let a bad week affect my view of the game and in retrospect it was a great win. Looking forward to 11/23 !
  6. Absolutely ! It was sometime in the 2nd half because I was not able to tune in until midway through the 3rd quarter.
  7. I agree with you both but have seen this many, many times. Up 22-3 with a chance to bury the JESTS, the offensive play calling was dubious. The JESTS were ready to roll over. Tyrod rollout? Run the ball down their throats, was there for the taking. Instead gave the JESTS defense confidence and altered the course of the game.
  8. LONG time lurker. Enjoy this board but not impressed with this win. Should have been a statement/blowout win but instead was the classic play not to lose scenario.
  9. Hate to be the wet blanket but tonight could have been a statement win but was not. Had a chance to bury the JESTS but instead had to sit through a nail-biter win. Felt like I was watching a Gregg Williams/Jauron/Kay Stevenson/Mularkey play not to lose scenario.
  10. I don't have time to read this entire thread but there is no way that people can be as unintelligent as Jimmy Spags and still figure out how to use a computer, let alone post to a message board. Hey Jimmy, when you push the little button on the side of your computer and the tray with the opening on it pops out it is not a cup holder.
  11. Like the horse collar penalty called in the Denver game? There was a similar play that could have been called against the Giants. I don't recall who the recipient was, maybe Woods?
  12. Thanks GunnerBill. I love the "Pats running up the score" rallying cry that Rex has used this past week. Hopefully it will launch the boys into a winning streak.. I agree with others in this thread and on the board in general that things seem to be different this year. It feels like the 1988 season when the Bills were on the rise and lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. We all know how things progressed from there. Time will tell. Bring on the Giants!!
  13. I have read in multiple places that the boys showed gumption in the comeback against the Patsies and the 4th quarter was a turning point. Is this truly the case or did the Patsies take their foot of the gas, or perhaps a little of both? I listened to the 2nd half of the game in the car in CT so it was difficult to tell. Have been a long time lurker and respect the opinions of many in this thread.
  14. If I ever was myself I wasn't that night.

  15. ^this + do "the hulk" at the 50 yard line
  16. Didn't see the last two touchdowns by the fish, but checked the box score and the Bills D gave up a couple of 30+ yard TD passes. What happened? Was it busted coverage or just a good play by the fish?
  17. He also extorted land owners around Gillette stadium until they sold him their land. Now he charges $40+ for cars and $150 for campers. What a guy.
  18. Watched the first half. EJ looked good as did Tyrod. Cassel, not so much. Tyrod and EJ 1-2 with Cassel 3. Anything else is nonsense.
  19. Thanks for posting. It's about time someone started a thread discussing the quarterback situation.
  20. My dad and I went to many games back in the late 70's through the mid 80's. I remember my first experience witnessing drunken behavior at a game, though I was too young to realize the person drunk at the time. We were sitting in the end zone for a game back in the late 70's. I don't remember the specifics other than it was a night game. This sloppy looking dude (again, I didn't realize then that he was drunk) was carrying a couple of beers and walked down the aisle all the way to the wall surrounding the field. He turned around to face the crowd, put down the beers, then turned around so he was facing the field and proceeded to moon the entire section. All with a huge grin on his face. He was cheered by the entire section as he was led out by security.
  21. Agree with CBF and DrD. Did any of you attend a Pats** game at Foxboro in the pre-Kraft/pre-Gillette years? It was ugly. When the Pats** began their run and increased their season ticket holder base things got better. From what I understand, they will now pull a season ticket holder's tickets if he or anyone he sells his tickets to causes problems. I attend the Bills game at Gillette every year and it is a very family-friendly environment.
  22. Enjoying the ride for now, we will see how things shake out come December but I have a feeling we will be happy. I will tell you that folks in NE are nervous. Was in/on Cape Cod last week and more than one person mentioned coach Ryan and his impact on our favorite team.
  23. I was a big fan of Kiko when he was here and wish him the best but his durability is a concern as he looks undersized in the picture that accompanies the article. Do the Eagles have the DL to keep the big boys off of him?
