  1. Not likely, folks have a tendency to track and bash ex-Bills (Donte Whitner, Jairus Bird, Poz, Kiko...).
  2. Da'Rick Rogers 2.0?
  3. They would just need to sign Poz (if he is still in the league) and they will be all set!
  4. Or BillFromNYC for his excellent post-game writeups. I always look forward to these on Sunday evenings and appreciated someone filling the gap last season (can't remember was it Virgil?).
  5. I was ready to log off and avoid TBD for a couple months until this dies down but this is great comedy!
  6. If this site didn't crash during the Mario thread (remember how excited we all were) it never will - until we win the big one
  7. Can we petition BB.com to reinstate their message board? The many excellent posters on this board have already been drowned out by those who joined this week.
  8. The bloom is definitely of Shanahan's rose after this fiasco. Good luck in SF.
  9. I am sorry to hear about the passing of your son. Below is a quote I read often after my father passed away, and I hope you also find it comforting. It is from Kahlil Gabran's The Prophet : When you are sorrowful, look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight. Some of you say, "Joy is greater than sorrow" and others say, "Nay, sorrow is the greater." But I say unto you, They are inseparable.
  10. Must depend on the age of the kid. I borrowed a hat from my 18 year old son and promptly curled the brim. He told me I ruined the hat.
  11. I'm with you, Jimmy. I crank up the wood stove, grab a cup of coffee and read the local Sunday paper (Hartford Courant) cover to cover. The Courant is shedding local writers and content for national/syndicated content.
  12. As much as I dislike the Patsies I have to admit I am happy for Hogan. Great story.
  13. Nope, tired of the drive from CT to watch an inferior product. I'll gladly overpay on StubHub for one or two games when/if they improve under McD.
  14. The last time the Bills played good, hard-nosed ball was under Greggo. That said, I don't condone his antics/practices at N.O. Watch out for Cleveland's defense next year.
  15. Dupont's wife is from Buffalo so he knows more about the Bills and Sabres than your typical out of town writer.
  16. The last time the Bills played hard-nosed ball was when G. Williams was the head coach. I don't condone his methods but am tired of watching other teams and would like to see this again:
  17. Yes. Felt bad for him when he got wiped out on that blitz.
  18. INdeed. Didn't see this as I had left the bar where I was watching the game. Just as well...
  19. Given the title I didn't need to read the post to know the content but just couldn't help myself. Much like the links/headlines to Sully's columns on TBD.
  20. Thanks for the post, Virgil. Both thoughtful and insightful as usual.
  21. You have made several comments regarding Lynn's intelligence, or lack thereof. Perhaps he was just extremely nervous and not comfortable given the situation and having to answer questions he should not have had to answer. Have you had to present information that you were not comfortable with because you were instructed to do so by a superior? It isn't easy.
  22. Just curious, what happened to Frank Reich? His name was mentioned frequently as a potential coaching candidate the last time around but I haven't heard anything about him in at least a year. Did he drop out of coaching?
