  1. Bishop bit hard on the play fake, so much so that my wife said, "what is that guy watching?"
  2. The Texans still had Diggs, no?
  3. I swear I saw Shavers on the field yesterday, yet he is still listed as on the practice squad on the Bills team website.
  4. I changed my pregame ritual of getting wings by going to a different bar that has better wings than my usual watering hole.
  5. Thurman was a beast that night.
  6. Ever hear "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now" by the Smiths?
  7. ^ this, plus there is no Goodell experiment to give the Jags an advantage.
  8. gtw3 beat me to it: Bills 27 Jags 17
  9. During "the drought" it seemed the Bills would always go into these nationally televised games on a roll and then self-destruct and get smoked. This will not be one of those games.
  10. Jerry Butler was my favorite player when I was younger. I was at the game at Rich early in his career when he had 4 TDs against the Jets. Frank Lewis was no slouch either.
  11. A full frontal of Taylor, now that's a different story...
  12. He was lucky he wasn't flagged for a block in the back.
  13. When I was 9 years old, my dad took a job in Buffalo and moved the family from the Dallas area to OP. It was the summer of 1974. Roger Staubach lived near our neighborhood in Dallas so I was naturally a Cowboys fan, however they quickly became my 2nd favorite team that year and remained so until they screwed over Tom Landry. Our house was near Freeman's Pond and if the wind was blowing just right we could hear the announcer from Rich Stadium on Sunday afternoons while playing catch in the back yard. My dad and I would listen to Van Miller on the radio to follow the home games, there was none better.
  14. Only watched the first 20 minutes but they sure brought back some names from the distant past. Lucius Sanford and Tony Greene were two of my favorite players back in the day.
  15. I witnessed a similar scenario on FDR Drive on the west side of Manhattan last summer. Don't know if they were "rich athletes" however one of the cars missed hitting my car by inches and then took out a family in a minivan a mile or so later. These cretins have no regard for human life and should be put in jail.
  16. Rob Johnson won the game. A special team blunder, abeit on an illegal play, lost it.
  17. I've been getting texts from college friends who are not Bills fans asking if I've seen Four Falls. My response: "I lived it."
  18. My daughter's high school boyfriend was a state champion wrestler. The level of dedication and self-discipline he displayed was incredible. He basically lived at our house and the poor kid used to watch us eat dinner but couldn't join us because he always had to make weight.
  19. So sorry for your loss. I referred to the below quote from Kahil Gibran often after my father's passing: “When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.”
  20. I am the only Bills fan who frequents our favorite eating and drinking establishment. When I walked in on Saturday afternoon the owner (a Dolphins fan) looked at me and said, enthusiastically, "The Bills are going to the Super Bowl!"
  21. I remember Leonard Smith decking someone on the Chiefs then getting up and doing the tomahawk chop in mockery. I believe it was a playoff game.
  22. I don't recall which game but Neal essentially negated Kelce in one regular season game several years ago.
