Packers open to trading CB Jaire Alexander
Haslett_Stomp replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
As does Sauce Gardner. One didn't enter the league with a lot of hype and gets flagged for it, the other doesn't. -
Are retail and restaurant workers getting ruder?

It has gotten to the point I am pleasantly surprised by a decent customer service experience. -

Little help with Tim Russert question
Haslett_Stomp replied to 1billsnut's topic in The Stadium Wall
I had a brief interaction with Mr. Russert and he was as genuine as you would expect from a Buffalonian. It was the summer of 1987 and I was living on Nantucket with some college buddies. We went to a place called the Westender in Madaket and Mr. Russert was there with his family having drinks and dinner. I waved and said "go Bills" and he replied the same with a big smile. -
Ah yes, the brown paper bag era...

Joe Brady, Josh Allen, and the playcalling
Haslett_Stomp replied to Low Positive's topic in The Stadium Wall
this game was 2 or 3 plays from being a potential blowout, or at the least a more comfortable margin of victory. The Kincaid drop that killed the first drive of the 2nd half, which may have led to a 28-10 score. The 3rd and goal where Josh was stuffed for no gain and the Coleman slant that would have gone the distance if not for a great tackle. -

Divisional Round, Ravens v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!
Haslett_Stomp replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills 27 Ravens 17 I was watching highlights of the week 4 game and there were at least 5 backups on defense in every positive highlight for the Ravens. I also had forgotten about the ridiculous trick play that completely killed the momentum the Bills had gained. If they had scored on that drive the score would have been 21-17 which may have led to a completely different final outcome. -

Any injury updates? (update: everybody's getting better)
Haslett_Stomp replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
As I said in another "Josh" thread, he is taking a lot of big hits, especially when rolling to his right. On the pass to Coleman a Lions defender hit him at full speed from 10-15 yards out. -
Allen to X-Ray room (says he's fine; just being cautious)
Haslett_Stomp replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's taking a lot of big hits rolling to his right toward the sideline. The same type of play where defenders say they are afraid to hit Mahomes because they don't want to take a penalty. Josh was absolutely drilled on the pass to Coleman which resulted in the roughing the passer call. That dude was running full speed from at least 10 yards away. -
It's the McDermott Bills...

McD will be the scapegoat to hide the real issue this week
Haslett_Stomp replied to Cray51's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree with the bolded text. I hadn't see Detroit play all season until watching last Thursday's game against the Packers, where their defense played excessively dirty. They are a bunch of punks.
