  1. Disagree. I see all three getting in. The thing about WR's is they don't get in right away. They generally have to wait a while. If Brown doesn't get it in would only be due to his antics. First team all pro for four consecutive seasons. And for Brown you can actually go much further, six consecutive 1,200+ yard seasons.
  2. I was curious so I looked up the players with 3 consectutive 100 rec and 1,000 yard seasons. It's a pretty short list of only 9 players but there are a couple likely non HOFers. Brandon Marshall and Herman Moore. And the way his career is going, Michael Thomas. The other 6 all look like HOFers/future HOFers. Antonio Brown (did it a record 6 times) Harrison (did it 4 times, 6 receptions shy of a 5 year streak)) Rice (2 receptions shy of having done it 4 consecutive seasons) Fitzgerald (surprisingly did it late in his career at the ages of 32,33, 34. was 17 receptions shy over a 3 year span of having done it 4 consecutive seasons early in his career) Hopkins ( 4 receptions shy of having done it 4 consecutive seasons) Wes Welker Four consecutive seasons looks like the magic number for HOF status. You have two that have done it and 3 more that were very close to hitting that 4 year streak. Of course now we have an extra game so we will have to see how that changes things.
  3. It's been a while but if my memory serves me right Watkins very first injury as a Bill was a rib injury he suffered in the pre-season before his first career game. There was a lot of doom and gloom from the fanbase around the injury. Little did we know at the time it would foretell an entire career of constant injuries for Sammy.
  4. I'm just saying it's far more likely for that scenario to play out vs. being a JAG in college and a stud in the pros.
  5. How is that more interesting? The competition in the pros is better so it's not surprising that many players are never as good or dominate at the pro level.
  6. Not even looking at the passing stats college vs. pros, the more surprising thing to me is Allen actually seems more dangerous as a runner at the NFL level than he was at the college level. That is something that is pretty rare, I think.
  7. Giants. Because i want to run it back against the NFC East. Although, I don't see the Commanders being competitive anytime soon. So maybe Eagles this year makes the most sense. 2022- Eagles 2023- Giants 2024- Cowboys 2025- Cowboys
  8. He better stop taking hits like that. He won't make it to the NFL at that rate.
  9. Mariotta is from Oregon University.
  10. Great! Another week with the Bills game not in my area!
  11. It’s interesting that Herbert at 6,6” with an arm just as lively as Allen’s has been near the top of the league in tipped passes two years running now. I do feel like there was one game where Allen had like 4 or 5 tipped balls this year. Has he had a game without any? How many did he have last week? I have searched the advanced oasis game logs but have not seen the tipped balls listed in the individual game logs.
  12. Who? Nope. Chief LB jumped Offside and Mahomes never saw the ball in overtime against the Patriots.
  13. Of course it should count. It would still be a 16 game record... 6,000 yards / 17 games= 352.9 ypg Drew Brees current record 5,562 yards / 16 games= 347.6 ypg
  14. The heads and what's in them are the same. It's the moving object that carries them that has changed. Players are faster and bigger that equals more force when the head hits the ground or is hit by another player. But the brain and skulls are not any bigger or anymore protected. They are just connected to larger and faster bodies. For an extreme example you sometimes hear about the Packers offensive line on their first super bowl team, not a single lineman was over 260lbs. Now the Packers probably have 16 players on the roster over 300 lbs.
  15. In Tua's case too, personally, he just came off one of his greatest games ever, and one of the greatest ever for a QB in NFL history even. And he did this playing with the new addition in Tyreek Hill. He's probably thinking he can become a legit top 5 QB now. We as observers still see that as highly unlikely still but I can't blame the player for thinking he can reach that level of play consistently.
  16. That would beg the question when is the right time for Tua to come back? I'm asking that as an honest question. He'll have been out for 24 days by the time he plays this Sunday. That's a long time compared to players with just one concussion. But we have much less history about the timeline for players who have had multiple concussions within a week. Yep. He was thrown around like a rag doll on that sack against the Bengals that knocked him out. He's too small and he also doesn't protect himself at all when going down. When Brady was sacked on the BS roughing call against the Falcons it was the same type of tackle but you'll notice Brady's head never hits the ground. Brady knows to keep his head up when being taken to the ground.
  17. He’s on pace to smash the total yards record which Drew Brees holds. No, not held by Peyton, because Peyton had like -30 rushing yards the season he set the single season passing yards mark. While Drew Brees had like 80 yards rushing. I forget what the record is that Brees has. Somewhere around 5,500 yards I think. Allen is on pace for like 6,300 yards.
  18. Blue pants! See!
  19. I believe the first patriots game is a Thursday night game in New England so I don’t think they can flex that one. And the last patriots game in Buffalo is the final week of the season. I don’t see them flexing that either. Jets seems very likely if they keep winning. But I have not looked to see what is already scheduled for SNFf those two weeks. They won’t be flexing out if a team like the Cowboys or Chiefs are playing.
  20. Yes. Sign a HOF pass rusher with plenty left in the tank. Easy.
  21. it is a crazy streak but honestly there is no cause and effect to it. It’s just random that it has worked out that way. It won’t go on forever so Josh might as well as break the streak this year.
  22. Oh, not your post. I posted a skip tweet earlier where he was highly critical of Mahomes and favored Allen over him. It was odd because just two weeks ago he favored Lamar over Allen. Skip is a blow hard so not sure I want him on our bandwagon. But he said Allen made him a believer yesterday.
  23. Against the Cardinals i would wonder how many of those yards were from Murray and how many came in the 4th quarter when the Chiefs were up big and pulled their starters. But nonetheless, they don't look good against the run as we were told.
