Nah. Totally different. Their board seems to not be moderated.

Week 16: Bills at Bears on Christmas Eve
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Same. Oddly I am a bit more confident in the Bengals game due to the fact that it is a ROAD primetime game. This version of the Bills seems to show up and play well on the road and in primetime games in particular. However, I would still expect it to be close. If it were in Buffalo i would say there would be a small chance for a double-digit Bengals win. But being on the road I think the Bills will be locked in a very little chance of a Bengals double-digit win. -

Not surprising given the trash that post on Chiefs Planet. I keep hearing Chiefs fans are some of the best in football. I guess the ones without internet maybe.

Mahomes, as great as his stats are, shouldn't win it over Allen if Allen and the Bills win out. It's not like Allen has pedestrian numbers. Allen's numbers this year are elite even if they are behind Mahome's totals, and not as efficient as Hurts passer rating. Allen's still 2nd or 3rd overall in the QBR efficiency metric. How does it make sense if at the end of the season Mahomes and the Chiefs have the #2 seed and losses to Allen and Burrow that he would get the MVP nod over Allen and the Bills with the #1 seed and wins over Mahomes and Burrow? It ALL comes down to the upcoming MNF Bengals game IMO. The national media has not been thinking about that game because they are reactionary and live in the moment. Which is fine. Make no mistake though, Allen and the Bills win that game and he is neck and neck with Mahomes. And Allen doesn't even need a monster 3+ TD no turnover game to do so. He just needs the win. A 2 TD 2 Turn Over game would be fine. If he can do better than that in a winning effort it would just help him all the more. I can't give the MVP to a player who failed to get the #1 seed because they failed to have their best games when it mattered most against their top two competing teams and QB's. Literally makes no sense. Mahomes would have to be blowing Allen out of the water in terms of TD's and yards. IMO, his lead in those categories is not large enough to warrant winning the MVP having loss the #1 seed due to losses to the Bills and Bengals. Especially when the other guy goes 2-0 against the Chiefs and Bengals. All that said, I am not predicting a Bills W against the Bengals unfortunately. And in that case, I think Mahomes does deserve it. But at that point, a case could be made for Burrow and of course, Hurts will definitely have a strong case.

I would not count on this being the case. The AFC South winner is more likely to be upset by one of the wild cards. They’ll actually probably be a Home underdog so from the Vegas perspective, it wouldn’t even be an upset. So it’s more likely the one seed would be playing the five seed. Or the six or seven seed should the second or third seed get upset.

Snowballs - fair game if aimed at Dolphins bench?
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Clark Rotary's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree with this. While I wouldn’t say, I condone the snowball throwing, I can’t say that I was upset with the sight of it. Some fans had their fun at the start of the game. The refs made their announcement, and from what I could tell the amount of snowballs thrown greatly decreased after that. So I’m good with it all. no harm no foul. -
So, reading the board, we lost again. 3-11. Sigh.
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to ChicagoRic's topic in The Stadium Wall
and what if the Bills team that played yesterday plays the Chiefs team that played today? Bills by 3 scores? or the Eagles team that played today? Bills by 2 scores? The Cowboys team from today? Bills 60 Cowboys 3? -

MVP moment right there. -
The crappy thing about this is the Patriots are 100% a team we want in the playoffs. They were 50/50 to make it before this loss but now they probably have a 20% chance of making it.

Just an honest question on the game outcome
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Italian Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Chiefs need OT to beat a 1 win Texans team. Bengals were trailing to the Bucs by 3 scores today at one point. If folks honestly thought we would blow out a playoff caliber team like the Vikings I'm not sure they have been paying attention to the NFL. Of course a blow out would have been awesome. But expected? Heck no. -

At this point last season, Bills were 7-6
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Kaenon's topic in The Stadium Wall
#2 seed is critical as well. Bills made it further in 2020 due in large part to having the 2 seed rather than the #3 seed which they had last year. -
Hurts is probably the only player Allen can’t over come. I think Allen would need to do far better than 8 TD’s in the final 4 games. That’s only 2 per game. Allen averages 2 TD’s per game in his sleep. If the Bills win out and he puts up 10 -12 TD’s in doing so I think he would be second to only Hurts. You can’t overstate having the one seed plus wins against Mahomes and Burrow. A lot will hinge on the Bengals game. The winner of that game likely moves up pretty even with Mahomes in the MVP odds entering the final week but still well behind Hurts.

Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Kaenon's topic in The Stadium Wall
But not because of the postseason. Last year sucked because of the regular season. The poor regular season lead directly to the postseason failure. The divisional round game was on the road against K.C. due to the fact that our regular season sucked finishing 10-7. It's why this year the Bills absolutely at a minimum have to get the 2 seed. That gives them a home divisional round game. And likely not against the chiefs. IF the Bills have to play the Chiefs home or away, let it be in the conference championship game and not any sooner. I'd argue the 2021 postseason team was far and away better than the 2020 postseason team. I'd say that is an indisputable fact. What doomed the postseason was the seeding which was due to the inferior regular season compared to the 2020 regular season. As of right now, the Bills are on pace to match or better their 2020 playoff seeding. If we can get the 2020 seeding with the 2021 post season team that was clicking this might end up being the year. -
interesting. For the two Saturday games figure that they will be games with playoff implications but not such that a team could win and eliminate other teams. They will be teams that need to win and get help from the Sunday games. The league doesn’t want to eliminate teams before Sunday. with that being the case. If the Bills still hold the one seed going into that week the league may keep the Bills on Sunday. Otherwise if the Bills win on Sunday the Chiefs and/or Bengals might not be playing for anything the following day.

Updated Beasley signing to practice squad
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
Beasley’s best game ever as a Bills was last season at home against the Dolphins. probably a pretty good chance Beasley is active for this game I would think. -
Aren’t all week 18 games on Sunday’s? Only the time is TBD because they want all the playoff implication games to be played in the same time slot.

The passer rating went down because his yards per attempt dipped below the magical threshold. But the poster brings up a good point. It’s one reason why passer rating is flawed. On that single play Allen got the most he could’ve gotten out of it yet the passer rating goes down. Doesn’t make sense logically. The other game in Allen’s career that shows the importance of finding a middle ground between passer rating and a statistic like QBR was the Atlanta game from last season. Statistically one of the Allen’s worse games of his career by pass rating. Throwing three interceptions. But also statistically one of his best games of his career, using his legs and running the ball. That’s why he had an above average QBR for the game.

Fish in Orchard Park - Snow Game ✅
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to WEATHER DOT COM's topic in The Stadium Wall
Rarely does any QB light it up in bad weather. Circulation is a problem yet in the coldest game he ever played in he had a perfect passer rating. No QB likes playing in cold weather. That goes for the other teams QB's as well. Circulation is probably a problem for most of them. This Saturday we have a pass happy team with an undersized QB from Hawaii who played college ball in the south and currently plays in Miami. -
Sure about this? Which game was the one loss? I thought Allen was 4-0 in all reds. We only wear them once a year right and this being Allen's 5th year that would mean he's only had four opportunities to wear them. Off the top of my head. 2018- Lions W 2019- ? 2020- Steelers W 2021- Carolina W
