  1. Double coverage on our smallest wr. so Davis or diggs or both had single coverage? Come on Allen.
  2. Paramount + It's only like $5 a month and you can watch any CBS game with the simple GPS location changing hack on your web browser. I've watched the majority of Bills games this way for the last two seasons.
  3. No draft picks. So no.
  4. You are always just so much fun.
  5. I'm ML betting the Chiefs every week until the end of the season. Started last week. Big $10 pay out on a $100 bet. Nope. It's cold but other than that the weather is perfect. No snow, rain or wind today at KC.
  6. Good Lord I hope he didn't bet on the Jets of all teams.
  7. oh man, this might be correct. But at the same time who gives a bleep who wins that division.
  8. His full story hasn’t been written yet, but his trajectory is that he will be. The Jets gave him a pretty darn good roster in his second year and he’s been a total failure. There’s no reason why he shouldn’t have been able to lead this Jets team to the playoffs similar to Turbitzky taking the Bears to the playoffs in his second year.
  9. Montgomery is a JAG though, no?
  10. I didn’t say I think it would be the same as a pay-per-view. I said I thought it would be at least $20 per game which is right in line with a new movie that is released. $10.99 per game à la cart is wishful thinking in my opinion.
  11. what makes you think they would price it at $10.99 per game though? pay-per-views are usually like $50 per event? if they do an à la cart option, I think it would be at least $20 per game. When a new movie comes out on a streaming service it’s typically about $20.
  12. I think it also depends on how much time he misses. If he misses just one game he has a good chance of winning still. He was the heavy favorite before is injury. Vegas might be thinking he misses two games. I see him sitting out the next two and coming back week 18. Maybe he only plays a half week 18. That could hurt his chances quite a bit as by that point Allen, Mahomes and Burrow will have total yardage and total TD numbers that would dwarf his. Allen and the Bills didn't blow anything though if at the end of the season they finish with the #1 seed. It all comes down to the Bengals game. The turnover slump against the Jets and Vikings could end up completely meaningless. Throw in Hurts possibly missing two games and Allen could have clearly better numbers than the other QB with the #1 seed.
  13. He has a case but he's not the run away winner. He trails in total yards and total TD's. He's 4th in both, he's not even second or third. Why would you say that? Should we see Allen without Diggs? And Mahomes and Allen probably have double the highlights of Hurts.
  14. The pro bowl just needs to be scrapped all together. There is no game anyway? What is the point of having fan voting if the number one vote getter doesn’t even make the pro bowl? Roger Saffold 2nd alternate? Wtf? How is that even possible? Are they drawing random names?
  15. I agree about the safety position. Might be our ultimate downfall. If I could have Hyde or Miller back I’d take Hyde every time. Will be very interesting if he actually is able to play in the postseason as he has said he has left the door open to that possibility I guess.
  16. I'm not sure that is entirely the case. It's only 50 voters. Guys like Peter King. If it were open to 200 media guys I could see that being the case. I'd like to think guys like King actually dig much deeper than just the raw stats. It will be interesting how changing it to a rank system changes the voting process. Minny game won't matter come end of season if the Bills win out and get the #1 seed. Meanwhile Mahomes failures will have cost his team the #1 seed. I keep repeating it but the Bengals game is huge. That's two top dogs both at the QB position and team level going at it. Whoever wins that game moves up a lot in the MVP rankings.
  17. He might sit out the next two games and come back for the week 18 game so he has some playing time before the Divisional game two weeks later. That is how I would handle the Hurts injury. Best case for Hurts is that Minshew looks terrible this week in a Cowboys blow out. Looks meh the following week. And Hurts has a big week 18 game.
  18. Mahomes literally threw a game ending INT against the Bills when they had plenty of time to drive for the win. He had two turnovers for the game. Allen only had one fumble that shouldn't even count against him since it was McKenzie's mistake.
  19. I think that is only the case if the Bills don't secure the #1 seed. Which seems likely since it will be tough beating the Bengals on the road and the Chiefs probably don't have another loss on the schedule. But...Why should Mahomes win it if the Chiefs don't secure the #1 seed due to his failures against the Bills and Bengals?
  20. I'm not sure who the 50 voters are outside of Peter King. It's basically a select few voters. There was that one Chicago guy that came out as very anti Rodgers last year. Even if they really like Allen, I don't think there are a lot of media guys that dislike Mahomes either.
  21. It's been a QB award for a long time. But it is antiquated to not include rushing production in the discussion of "best QB stats" in today's NFL. Mahomes has around a 6 TD and 650 yard lead on Allen if we only consider passing stats. But that lead shrinks significantly when we add in the production with their legs. 240 yards and 2 TD's can simply be the difference of one QB playing in one extra blizzard condition game than the other. Or having played three games against top 5 defenses vs just 2 games for the other QB.
  22. My gripe with Mahomes should they not actually finish with the #1 seed is that he did not play his best games against the best competition (Bills/Allen and Bengals/Burrow) and as a result the Chiefs and Mahomes failed to secure the #1 seed. Even if the Bills and Chiefs end up tied record wise at the end of the season there is no way Mahomes should be awarded an MVP for coming up short in the two biggest games of his regular season, ultimately costing his team. The upcoming Bengals game means everything in the MVP, IMO. Currently Mahomes leads by some 240 total yards and 2 total TD's and few turnovers over Allen. That is simply not a huge disparity. Now, Hurts playing in another conference and having such few losses and turnovers compared to Allen and Mahomes that is an entirely separate debate. But there is no question the Eagles are a stacked team that has had a soft schedule. Also, to Allen's benefit the Bills have faced a much more difficult schedule than both the Chiefs and Bengals. The only team that has had an easier SOS than the Chiefs in the conference is the Raiders.
