  1. The temp gets down that low in Miami? Seriously thought it would never dip below 68 for a high temp down there.
  2. I think the Jets will be our bigger competition. They truly screwed themselves playing Zack Wilson twice against the Patriots.
  3. The line was Bills -1.5 for a few days now before today's games. Nothing has really changed. I placed a week 17 Chiefs ML and Bengals +1.5 parlay earlier in the week. I do suspect the line could move to Bills -1 or even a pick 'em by the time the game comes around.
  4. I think most believe Marino to be the greater all-time QB between Marino and Favre and I'm pretty sure Favre has more MVP's than Marino and of course more super bowl appearances and a ring. So, I don't necessarily agree that rings and MVP's are what will determine who is regarded as the better QB. That said, Favre is an excellent comp for Allen's playing style and ability. No question.
  5. Serious question. Do we make too much out of turnovers when we talk about the MVP? Allen probably leads the league in turnovers this year but he's also #2 in total TD's, #2 in total yards and if he and the Bills win next week, they will in all likelihood have the #1 seed because they showed up and played their best against the best all while playing one of the leagues toughest schedules and leading the league in point differential. So just how relevant and costly are these turnovers? I'm on record these last couple of weeks that if Allen can lead the Bills to the #1 seed I think he is deserving over Mahomes. Don't care if he has 20 turnovers on the season if he has 43 TD's and 5,000 yards to go with them along with the 1 seed over Burrow and Mahomes.
  6. Yep. Favre and Allen arm to arm and what they can do in the passing game, probably pretty similar when you adjust eras. But throw in Allen's ability to run and he beats out Favre easily.
  7. Will be interesting where Herbert and Burrow end up on this list. Herbert has a good chance of being number 1 if he can stay healthy.
  8. yep. It was a thing of beauty. There was one play where the closing bills defender literally walked up on him. Perfect technique because if you come up at these guys too fast they give you one head fake and are gone.
  9. If there is one thing McD is great at it is containing one dimensional running QBs
  10. Did anyone watch this game? Was Mahomes as bad as his sub 40 QBR suggests? he had a nice game by just passer rating alone.
  11. I’d like to see Beasley be a big part of this next game. Allen tried to go to the McKenzie well on passes 20+ yards down the field a couple times and came up bust both times. yep. Like I said. Put absolutely everything you can afford to lose on the Bengals! The pain of an L will be too much otherwise.
  12. Yeah. This team is good despite not playing to their potential. They haven’t played at that level since week 2. but at the end of the day, they lead the league in point differential while playing one of the hardest schedules in the league. All three losses by 8 points total. our QB has been a turnover machine but he’s also tied for 2nd in the league in total TD’s. the team tends to bring their best game in primetime games so things look good for the near future. that said, this game against the Bengals is a total toss up IMO.
  13. not sure about that. But look for Allen to go over 10 rushes and 70 yards rushing given the stakes for next weeks game. Mahomes had a QBR today lower than Allen’s too. He had around a 35QBR. Must have been a few easy dropped INTs.
  14. This game is HUGE. I'll be putting as much as I am comfortable losing on the Bengals and the points.
  15. Entire defense for totally shutting down the Bears main offensive weapon which is Justin Field's legs. Under McDermott the Bills have a long history of shutting down running QB's like Jackson and Fields.
  16. We suck at YAC. Yet our receivers like to right for yards. Typically little to be gained. Even Diggs the play before Davis' fumble I am thinking to myself just go down. You're doing all this extra work and risk of injury for maybe 5 more yards at best. And I think Diggs ended up losing yards.
  17. We can't kick anything beyond 30 yards today. I'd like to see them go for two every time.
  18. Dorsey redeeming himself on that opening second half drive.
  19. I’d like to see dump offs to Cook every other play until the Bears are forced to adjust.
  20. McD changed his mind. But why? I guess no chance of a Fg given the previous to misses.
  21. Alright. Don’t bring Bass out for a Fg again today unless it is inside 30 yards.
