Nyheim Hines named AFC ST Player of the Week
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
That was a very confusing title before Yolo edited. I had to look up if there was an actual player named Rim Shines. Unfortunately, I do not see one listed. -
Question, do we know the last time a player had three concussions in one season? I believe Pickett had two this season. I've heard people say if you get three documented concussions in a CAREER you should think about retiring. This is three in one season. It's not super common but we do hear about players getting two concussions in one season. Three is almost unheard of though.

McDaniel is not fighting for his job. That is crazy. They made the playoffs with their starting QB missing 4 or 5 games this year due to injury. Everyone knows Tua is not the future. They will bring in a vet to “compete” with Tua in the off-season. They have to because if they do decide to start Tua next year they sure as hell better have a Derek Carr or Jimmy G on the roster at minimum.
-
That is the whole point though. Miami is under a microscope because of their previous poor handling of the Tua situation back in week 3 and 4. That has to be on their minds now. Plus, Tua is not in their future plans anyway at this point. He can’t stay healthy. Easy to just sit him and move on. They know they aren’t going on a three game winning streak against the Bills, Bengals and Chiefs. Not a lot to gain by possibly upsetting the Bills.
-
yes, but you have to start with $180 in your pocket. lol I typically like to money line against the bills in big games but I think I’m gonna stay away from this one. If tua doesn’t play I just can’t see the bills losing. Money line is currently about +400 I think. $20 bet would win you’ $80. Roughly.

Looking like we couldn't ask for better weather on a mid-January Sunday at 1pm at Orchard Park. Let's hope so. Our secondary will need the help. Our QB can run better than theirs.

Do we see an end of QB Mega Deals?
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to WhitewalkerInPhilly's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not the end of mega-deals, as others have pointed out, proven guys like Herbert and Burrow will be getting paid this off-season. What I think we might see an increase of is the use of the Franchise Tag on some of these fringe QB's. To me Hurts is still a fringe guy so I would not be surprised if he doesn't get a mega deal this off-season. And what in the world do you do with Daniel Jones? He certainly is not a mega deal QB and not really worth a one season franchise tag deal either. -
It will be interesting what role Beasley has in the playoffs. Frustrating that he wasn't able to get called up again for one last game after only playing one serious in the Bengals game before it was called. Thought the NFL should have allowed a deviance from the protocols on that one. Felt like Beasley was going to get a lot of snaps and targets in the Bengals game to basically see what he and the offense could do BEFORE the playoffs. Now if we want to give him a high workload and "try it out" it will be in do or die game setting.

This has killed us a few times though. The sequence at the end of the Vikings game and the sequence where he threw the pick at the end of the first half in our game last Sunday against the Patriots. The two sequences combined were 5 or 6 consecutive throws into the end zone from around 20 yards out. Resulted in zero completions and two interceptions.

final DVOA stats up - Bills #1 overall
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ah okay. I was confused why the Bills were still ranked #1 on PFR in point differential. That is two straight seasons #1 in differential for the Bills now. Yeah, it's clear they are still dominating and finding ways to win while being not fully healthy most the season and not playing to their full potential. The Bills could get even better in the postseason if things start to click again. -
Chicago— New Stadium Renderings
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall
Looks like an open-air canopy stadium similar to SoFi. Has the standing room only areas too. -
final DVOA stats up - Bills #1 overall

Damn. I was hoping we would finish first in that. 49ers have been on an unreal streak. They really look like the team to beat this year. -

Jess Pegula ♡ #3 at the Australian Open

From now on, I don’t go number one or number two. I go number three. -
since you are posting on this message board, I would assume you can purchase Paramount plus and watch the game on your phone or computer. It’s only five dollars a month. You can cancel anytime. I watched the majority of Bill‘s games this way. I cast from my laptop to the TV. You could also use an HDMI cable if that works for you. or if you are fine with a smaller screen, just watch it on your computer phone.

What is your 2023 Super Bowl Field?
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would have the 49ers and Bengals as heavy favorites. Buffalo, KC and Philly after them. Outside shot is the Chargers. -
Final 2023 first-round NFL Draft order after Super Bowl
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yep. To me Detroit looks like a younger less experienced version of Kyle Shanahan's 49ers. Physical team that can beat you in all ways possible or needed any Sunday. You could argue the 49ers reaching for what they thought was need and talent in Lance rather than the best player available, was a big mistake. But their team is so good top to bottom it won't matter. Even Goff seems similar to Jimmy G. Goff might actually be better because he is generally available for a full season. -
He’ll beat him twice when he signs with the Dolphins. But I think he maybe goes to the Raiders actually.

Not a single game in a closed dome next year. SoFi does feel very much like a dome though.
