  1. Thanks for posting these. It's basically just the turnovers that have the entire media and some of the fanbase feeling the Bengals are going to win. Bills nearly blew a game because of a turnover, while the Bengals won a game because of a timely takeaway. Despite what the national media may think, I do not expect the Bills to turn the ball over multiple times this week and definitely not 3+ times. I don't expect the Bills to gift 7 points to the other team again. I don't expect the Bengals to get a 14 point swing on a single play. What I am concerned about is whether our secondary can actually stop the Bengals passing game. They didn't look great in the drive and half they were on the field a few weeks ago. Bottom line is this has to be a Bills D-line game with all the injuries to the Bengals o-line.
  2. I'm talking about the fans perspective. Their fans can fall back on recent super bowl appearances. Bills fans have nothing. If the Bills fail to make the AFCCG this year then that is two years in a row after making it in 2020.
  3. It's a little different feeling because our two biggest competitors have enjoyed greater postseason success recently than the Bills. Bills have the pressure on them to advance to the Super Bowl. The Bengals and Chiefs have combined to do that three consecutive seasons. If the Bills and Jax lose this weekend that streak will extend to 4 and the Bills will be snuffed out again. If you're a fan of the Bengals or Chiefs of course you want them to win. But if not, oh well, we've achieved greater success and will be back next year. But as a Bills fan, it feels like they HAVE TO WIN. And Jax is a year ahead of schedule. They are one of those 'Just happy to be here" teams. Where the Bengals were last year.
  4. I don't know. Joe Mixon and Tyreek Hill skated by just fine. And since these things happened early in Moulds career (still physically gifted) I imagine he would have skated by as well.
  5. Can he still run a go route?
  6. I mean JAX are a GREAT team. Always have been.
  7. Of course. But which one?
  8. yep that was definitely my dilemma in every pick up game I played. Swoosh this three in this guys face or dunk on this fools head?
  9. The Bengals defense seems a little suspect. I'm sure the rankings probably have them better than Miami over the course of the 2022 season but I'm not sure with the players they currently have available now and the way both defenses are playing that the Bengals defense is currently more formidable than the Dolphins.
  10. The Florio stat posted here goes back the last two seasons and shows Allen far and away the leader in 10+ air yards. I'd say Allen has always been this way. He's still got a better than 2 to 1 TD to INT ratio when you average it all out so I don't think it is a big deal.
  11. If they are consistent, they would likely be a more of a #1 or 1b. My problem with Gabe is I thought he had a legit chance this year to become our #1 or 1b to Diggs. Diggs another year older, his 2021 year being a down year from 2020. I did not expect Diggs to match and better in some respects, his 2020 season this year. If Gabe's peak is just as a #2, then I think we can likely find a cheap #2 in a lot of places. Would not want to spend a lot of money unless he starts producing like a #1.
  12. I bet Cincy at 4.5 early in the week thinking for sure the line would come down to around 2.5 or even 2. Next morning it was down to 4 so I was feeling good. Then it went back to 4.5, then 5 and now 5.5...
  13. Yep. He's going to destroy the career record for TD passes of 10+ yards I would think. Mahomes will destroy the record for TD passes inside of 5 yards.
  14. You singled out Tomlin yet have no problem with Campbell? Campbell didn't miss his best player for 7 games and wasn't in a transition year at the QB position playing a green rookie and a lifeless Trubitzky. Both teams finished 9-8.
  15. Yeah, i think that is how most of these tv and radio shows go. Same stuff from when my alarm clock goes off till the drive home after work.
  16. Thanks for putting this together. Is this the one against the Lions? If so, I would actually recategorize that one as an aborted snap. Just watched the replay and Allen fumbles the ball as soon as it hits his hands and before he ever starts any sort of running motion or even tucking the ball in.
  17. Can't recall the last game where all the money was coming in on one team while the national media seemed to be all on the side of the other team. The line continues to move towards the Bills from 4 , to 4.5 to 5 and now 5.5. But every talking head seems to like the Bengals this week.
  18. Weeks 1, 3 and 14 look like the closest thing. They all have at least six attempts 10+ yards down the field. But I mean it's unrealistic to expect all but one or two to be inside 10 yards so yeah those are pretty close. I'd be curious how Allen's percentage of deeper passes compares to Mahomes. Mahomes throws a ton of TD's inside the 10 yard line and even 5 yard line. Allen is the opposite and tends to lead the league in TD's greater than 20 air yards.
  19. I think Tomlin did a heck of a job as usual. They finished the season with a winning record. TJ Watt, who for my money is the best defensive player in the game, missed 7 games. Steelers were 8-2 in games he played in this year. They were in a transition year with a rookie QB and still managed a winning season while missing their best player for a large chunk of the season.
  20. Look at all the costly errors we made in that game. 1. Gifted the other team 7 points 2. Dropped a surefire TD (4 points) 3. Dropped a perfectly placed deep ball (minimum 3 points) 4. Beasely drop/no call turned INT (Dolphins 18 yard drive for 7 points) Those four alone that standout add up to about 21 points. Yet, because we have the largest margin for error the Bills were still able to take a 10 point lead into the 4th quarter. We would have been looking at three score blow-out final if just 2 out of the 4 major errors didn't occur.
  21. Quite the opposite actually. If I was 100% confident the Bills would win every game, I don't think I would ever watch them. For this one I am somewhere around 50% confident the Bills win. Give or take 5% in either direction.
  22. of course, they’re watching the Bills. We are their biggest rival in the division. bills had a ton of prime Time and stand alone games this season too. +6 playoff games and counting over the last three seasons. All of which are standalone national games.
  23. I’m confused by your comment. Miami has barely seen Allen? I think Allen has played 11 games against them in five seasons. I don’t think he’s played more games against a single opponent than the dolphins.
  24. The legend of Gym Shorts. The greatest Bills head coach that never was.
