  1. And really two games before. The injury was on like the second to last play of the Jets game where Josh had already thrown 2 interceptions. The first of which was one of the more bizarre ones I have ever seen.
  2. It's a popular narrative to put it all on Dorsey. But I don't buy that. At some point Allen himself needs to be held accountable. Better pre-snap reads and faster progression would get him to Knox.
  3. Simple answer. No.
  4. You have nicely covered all of the possible options that exists. The 5th one which you rarely see is "team doesn't get their pick in in time" and picks at 28 instead of 27.
  5. You have heard of Day 3 right? Rounds 4-7.
  6. God help us if we spend another day 2 pick on a RB. The first two, one was a JAG and the other a bust. And Cook who we just drafted is TBD.
  7. Brees is the outlier. Those are some bad years for a QB of his caliber on the team. None of us would find a 9-8 season or worse with Allen acceptable.
  8. He has a weird way of showing that he is a Bears fan.
  9. I don't see that in the article or at the current odds on draft kings. Buffalo +135 then Jets the next at +240 Edit, i saw your last post. I see what you are saying now. Less than even odds to win the division but still the favorite. Kind of confusing how you word it though because certainly they think the Bills win the division over any of the other teams.
  10. Gabe can be a great #3 or even #4 if we start spreading the ball around more on offense. In order, target count should be something like Diggs, Knox, Shakir and then Gabe. That means Gabe stays at the #2 starting outside WR but he's number 4 by target volume. I think that is where Gabe can thrive.
  11. My bigger point is that the optics would look bad for him. Beane is better off going with Dodson and Bernard this year and using day 1 and 2 picks at other positions. Plus, how could anyone even know if Bernard is a bust or not ready when he has hardly played? As for your point of picks not working out, Beane seems to have his fair share in the day 1 and 2 area. Outside of Allen, I’m not sure he has hit on a single day 1 and 2 pick in his entire time with the Bills. There’s been players who have played meaningful roles on the team like Knox, Edmunds and Singletary but I’m not sure I would say they were successes over expectations. Maybe Knox I guess but we need more out of him next year. Currently the sentiment is coaching and Allen are letting Knox down and thwarted his break out year this past season.
  12. As much as I like Jack Campbell’s film, Beane should turn in his own resignation paper work right after submitting the pick for Campbell based solely on wasting a 3rd round pick on Bernard in the prior draft. I can see them drafting a LB with their first pick unless they trade back to get value. That is why I think it is far more likely we go into the season with Dodson and Bernard. They probably even think they can bring in AJ Klein if needed.
  13. They are comfortable with Dodson and Bernard. Likely draft some with a day 3 pick.
  14. Yeah, I feel like I do after some of the mid-season losses. Where right after I tell myself, I'm not even going to watch the next game. I'm going to take a break. But then come the following Sunday there I am in front of the TV. That's how I sort of feel about the upcoming season, but I am certain I will be watching every game.
  15. That depends on whether or not GB is content to eat the $59 million and just pay him to stay home. Pretty sure they can give him the Watson treatment. Rodgers has already declared his intent to not play for GB so they have a justifiable reason to not have him around the team. No matter what, Rodgers in not playing for the Packers next year. The salary is what it is, at this point in free agency it's not like they are going to spend that $59 million on players that put them over the top as a contender. The number one thing the Packers can do to benefit their team is to get as much back in pick value as they can for Rodgers. I believe the Jets will be far more willing to trade a 2024 first round pick than their current #13 pick this year. And can you imagine how much of a circus it would be for the Jets organization to have Zach Wilson taking all the first team reps at the start of Jets training camp? All while the New York media asks every day when the Rodgers deal is going to get done. To me that is a much bigger distraction than Rodgers potentially showing up to Packers training camp. And it's not like the Jets can tell Wilson to stay home.
  16. Is that from experience? For myself, this coming season will be the first season ever that I'll be going into a season with that bitter feeling about the Bills. It will be an interesting one.
  17. A team will have to trade 2 first round picks to obtain Lamar if the Ravens decide to not match the offer. However, if the Ravens are actually willful trade partners in that scenario, couldn't the Ravens send back a second and third round pick or whatever picks they want to sweeten the deal so a deal gets done. If teams are hesitant to trade for Lamar due to the two first round picks but the Ravens really want to move off of him for the equivalent of say one first rounder and a 3rd rounder than they would have to send picks back to the team that acquires him. Or do the rules of the franchise tag prevent manipulation of the established 2 first round pick trade value? I ask because I keep hearing " it will cost a team two first round picks" wondering if that is actually true. Heck technically couldn't the Ravens send back a 2024 first round pick which would basically make acquiring Lamar the cost of just one first round pick.
  18. He does have tiers in his rankings, QB's, for example, there are none ranked at 3.7 and 3.2 so those are basically tiers. He has Mahomes, Allen and Burrow in the same tier which makes sense IMO. He also has them ranked in that order within the tier which also seems to make sense. The next tier is from 3.6 to 3.3 and is made up of Hurts, Herbert, Rodgers and Lamar in that descending order. The next tier starts at 3.1 with Dak followed by Lawernce, Murray and Watson with a break at 2.7
  19. Our offensive rating checks out. Allen basically carries the entire offense to a #5 ranking. WR seems a tad low given Diggs alone, feel like the Bills could be a 2.0 Safeties at 4.0, man it will be nice if our safety duo can stay healthy and play at that level again. I'd rank both the Eagles and Miami over Dallas at the WR group.
  20. Of course it benefits the Jets. That was my entire point. Jets NO NOT want to cave now and give up the #13 pick. They will cave after the draft and give up a first rounder and potentially much more. Remember, in their eyes, the 2024 first rounder is a selection in the mid 20's or later. Green Bay benefits in getting a first rounder in 2024 which is likely the better year for them to have two first round picks anyway. And if the Jets are desperate after the draft they may get even more 2024 and 2025 day 2 picks out of the deal. The Jets are in win now mode these next two seasons with Rodgers. They want to keep all their picks this year. Packers are rebuilding so 2024 and 2025 picks have value to them.
  21. I just want this stalemate to at least go past the draft. I think it makes sense for it to go past this draft too. Jets have a fairly high pick this year. They don't want to give up #13. But in 2024 they figure to have a pick in the 20-30 range from their perspective. Also, Green Bay could actually benefit more in having an extra 2024 first rounder. They use this year to evaluate Love. If they think he is not the guy then they have two first rounders in the 2024 draft to move up and get their QB if there is one that they like. I do think there should be a 2025 conditional pick on whether or not Rodgers plays the 2024 season with the Jes. Could be as high as another 1st or 2nd round pick in 2025 if say the Jets make the playoffs in 2024 and Rodgers starts more than 50% of the games. Jets will really start to cave after this draft IMO.
  22. He's a different type of back. It will be interesting to see how he is used. New England throws A LOT of balls to their RB's in their system but Harris was not one of those backs. Singletary was a back that led the bills in both rushing attempts and targets from the RB position. Unless the Bills change their personnel groupings and philosophy on offense, expect Cook to take that role now. Harris will fit the Moss role. If that is the case, we are probably looking at something like 100 rushing attempts for Harris on the season and 450 yards. Hopefully 8+ TD's.
  23. I don't think we have seen anything either way. He's barely played right? I think Dodson is the fall back, and I think Beane and McDermott are content with that. But the plan is likely for Bernard to take over either midseason or even start the season if things go well over camp and pre-season. I love Jack Campbell's highlights. And his size and measurables look pretty good. But my gut is that they do not draft a LB within the first two rounds.
  24. I always had the feeling the playoff game should have been in Cincinatti too. In all liklihood, the Bengals were going to beat the Bills on MNF. I feel like both teams sort of felt that way too. The Bengals felt slighted that the game was in Buffalo rather than at their place and i think it may have been in the back of the Bills players minds too.
