  1. how do you explain the defense only getting turnovers in the games we win by 28 though? Good defenses can create turnovers in tight low scoring games. It doesn’t matter what rhe offense is or isn’t doing? That’s basically been the reality for Jets defense for two years now. Again, we have a defensive problem if they can only create turnovers with a two score lead.
  2. i’m not sure I entirely agree here. If this were the case you would’ve thought we would’ve forced in INT against the Buc’s and Baker Mayfield. The one game where we did have a two score lead, putting pressure on the opposing offense. could be that we are calling a far less aggressive, defensive scheme with the losses of white, Milano and Jones. if the only way we can get consistent turnovers from our defense is by beating teams by 28+ points, that’s a bit of an issue. which is ridiculous because we lost what, one player on the D line? And it’s still somehow all crumbled.
  3. Bills playing at Sofi stadium for the third consecutive season.
  4. because the other seven loss teams won’t have any warts? Did they play seven out of conference games and lose them all? pretty much none of the teams with seven losses are going to be looking great with tiebreakers. But somebody’s gonna win it.
  5. they would be wrong IMO. with the way the Bills are playing and being behind in the division race I think it would be foolish to assume a lesser opponent is a reason to not go all out with the playbook and set yourself up with the best chance for every point possible.
  6. And that’s a big problem because he’d be the 3rd or 4th on a good defensive team. Phillips can also be good sometimes for them.
  7. What a time to be an elite team in the NFC! Meanwhile being an elite team in the AFC makes you anywhere from 1-6 best team.
  8. Yup. The Bills are obviously not 0-2 against the Bengals in their last two games against them given that the first game lasted less than one quarter. But it sure feels like we are 0-2.
  9. Nah. It's just the avocado ice cream and 8 gallons of water he drinks every day.
  10. I think his constant over the top criticism of Allen is honestly the biggest compliment he can give Allen. I believe he knows Allen is the only QB in the league that actually has the talent and ability to be better than Mahomes if Allen puts it all together. So really, his criticism is more fear based. That said, he is absolutely right that Allen does go through more ups and downs but that also just confirms that Allen's upside is really high. Even higher than Mahomes. And that is what he is fearful of but of course will never admit.
  11. If we can beat tomorrow and drop them to 4-4, Allen might not have the opportunity to get his revenge on them in the postseason. Not only would they be .500 but they would be 0-4 in the conference. They are 4-0 against the NFC West. Pretty crazy that they have played all 4 NFC West teams already.
  12. I think it is the biggest reason why Allen is +1400 for MVP despite only being a game back from all the other good AFC teams and having statistically his best year ever. Vegas has a lot of upcoming losses baked in. Even if the Bills split all their remaining tough opponent games, Bengals, KC, Philly, Dallas and Miami that puts them as either a 5 or 6 loss team. This Bengals game is massive for sure. If the Bills win it will feel likely for playoffs. A loss honestly would make it look 50/50. I don't even feel great about the Denver game either. It feels like we are getting a lot of teams this year as they are peaking or turning it around.
  13. Not long actually, 2021. Titans were the 1 seed and were taken out by the Bengals in a game that I think may have been all FG's. Bills were a Josh Allen slip at the 1 yard line against the Titans away from being the 1 seed that year.
  14. I agree with your entire post except for this part. I highly doubt it had an effect on the final score. The Bills ended up getting the ball back around the 30 yard line after the Bucs were held inside their own goal line and had to punt and the Bills would get a TD on their next possession.
  15. There is also a difference between 1 yard (a full yard) goal to go. vs. having the ball spotted at the half yard line which I think was the case against the Bucs. At the half yard line you can also just consider calling Allen to jump and extend the ball over the line. I don't really mind Allen running out of shotgun from the half or one yard line, but I do hate a shotgun hand off. But really, should just sneak it every time. With or without the tush push.
  16. Talk about the ball not bouncing your way. He literally has more turnovers than turnover worthy plays.
  17. I’m crossing my fingers that in an effort to not show bias he over corrects himself and becomes Allen’s ball washer for the night.
  18. There was a point in time last year when I thought the Raiders were the best 1-4 team the league has ever had. I guess that is the best I can say about the McDaniels tenure in Vegas.
  19. Hill is a legit top 10 MVP candidate on Tua's own team. That is sort of where it doesn't make sense for me. I also think Tua and Miami eventually have to beat a real contender for Tue to stay near the top of the odds or Vegas will start to cool on him. Mahomes is playing with one of the best defenses in the entire league for the first time in his career. Allen for years has basically been the Bills entire offense and now the Bills defense has taken a huge step back with the three key players they have lost for the season. I think the reason Allen is currently +1400 or whatever is that the odds makers feel the Bills won't finish anywhere close to the one seed. They very well could be accurate in that prediction as well. If that is the case Allen will need to lead the runner up in TD's by 10+ to have a real chance at the MVP.
  20. That’s not what voters care about. If it were how is Tua in third with beating only nobodies and losing to the only two good teams he has faced?
  21. I’m just so happy one of them is going to lose. It’ll be a great way to start the day either way. looking ahead, New Year’s Eve should be fun too with Bengals at Chiefs.
  22. I was looking at stats earlier this morning. If I am not mistaken there are like 5 players tied with the most INT's? You will need to imagine. Yes.
  23. He's thrown the same amount as Hurts and Mahomes. But he has a better QBR on the season than both in part because a good number of his INT's, I think three, have been arm punts. An incompletion is an incompletion, but throwing a ball in the dirt at a WR's feet who is wide open for an easy TD is a different kind of incompletion than throwing the ball away when nobody is open. Allen had an excellent game against the Commanders. His 89 QBR pretty much matched what our eyes saw in that game. In hindsight it would have been preferable to force a punt after a three and out or even a six and out in order to take more time off the clock. Bills needed to get the ball back but getting it back around the Patriots 30-yard line forced a short drive that left too much time on the clock for the Patriots ultimately.
