  1. Good questions. My guess is yes. Drew Brees had a pretty amazing three year run where he posted 40+ TD's in three consecutive years. He may have lead the league in both categories one or two of those years. Drew Brees, despite amazing numbers most of his career with the Saints, never won a league MVP.
  2. The other thing about checking in with the ref that everyone is talking about is the fact that Toney is in the slot close to the line. It’s quite a bit more difficult to be getting confirmation from the down judge or line judge on the sideline when you’re so far away. It’s more typical for an outside flank receiver to be checking in.
  3. I think it simply comes down to the bills running the table. At that point, I believe Brock Purdy would be his stiffest competition for the award. Dak would essentially be eliminated because he lost the head to head to both Purdy and Allen and at that point the Cowboys would likely be looking at a wildcard with the Eagles taking the division. and even if the bills don’t win the division in this scenario, they would have swept, Tyreek Hill and Tua. The only other candidate is Lamar, but again, he would statistically be the least deserving candidate in well over 10 years.
  4. Head to head might not come in to play if it’s at three or four team tie at the end. but ultimately, I don’t think we’re gonna be winning any tiebreakers at all. Especially if we beat Dallas this week. That put us at four and one out of conference. Meaning our in-conference record is going to be one of the worst between all of the teams tied. but if we beat Dallas, at that point, just win out and don’t let tiebreakers come in to play.
  5. Browing has looked great for the Bengals. I could see them finishing 3-1 down the stretch. That could be a very important week 17 match up of Browns @ Bengals.
  6. LOL. I love the "blocking our view of the ball" part.
  7. One thing that is really in our favor is the simple fact that Dallas is rolling and well overdue for a letdown game.
  8. That's insane. If that is their typical "line" the NFL needs to start cracking down. We don't need teams lining up like this. It puts the Bills at a disadvantage. Our QB is mobile, can break the ankles of free rushers and is the current NFL QB ironman. Force all teams to play with a legal line and the Bills will have yet another QB advantage over the other guys.
  9. I’m not talking about contact though. I’m talking about a hold. Not sure we are talking about the same play. It was a blatant hold that clearly slowed Kincaid down that was not called.
  10. not the Kincaid one. That was a blatant hold by the linebacker.
  11. to determine Offside or not we would need to see a ball on the field. At least provide a screenshot with the ball not having been snapped yet.
  12. have you followed Allen for his entire career? He leads the league in turnovers and TD’s. the poster I am arguing with thinks he turns the ball over almost as much as he scores? Yep. He thinks 96 turnovers is close to 210 TD’s.
  13. Chiefs would have scored even if we punted. We weren’t shutting them out in the first half. he’ll learn??? bahahaha! Come on we have seen this for six years! but relax!!! He still has a better than 2:1 TD to turnover ratio. It is who he is.
  14. Bills 0 points off turnovers. chiefs? They butt rape our defense for a TD on the lone turnover. It is acceptable for the defense to hold to a FG. It’s not like the Chiefs got the ball inside the 30 yard line. then again I am arguing with a person that thinks 96 is close to 210
  15. Yeah, he's not winning MVP unless he turns it up several notches. His QBR on the season is 58. That would be abysmal for an MVP winner. The lowest in recent memory was Cam at 61 but the Panthers were 15-1 and Cam had a 45 TD season. Lamar is on pace for 26 TD's currently. Every other MVP winner of the las 10 years has pretty much had a QBR of 70 or above. Including Lamar's 83 in 2019. He is the current NFL ironman. Which is funny given his style of play. That's also why he has the most TD's as well. Brady had almost no relationship with Bill and they were together for 20 years. But at least they could point to the rings together.
  16. And 13th in QBR. Lamar's really not having a good season at all. On pace for 26 total TD's on the season. 26!? LOL
  17. 🤦‍♂️ These guys are so clueless. What's his TD:TO ratio in his last three games against the Chiefs? Something like 10:1?
  18. Total QBR as a predictor of NFL MVP's The last 10 NFL MVP's since a non QB last won the award in 2012 (Adridan Peterson). Text in bold indicates they led the league in QBR that year. 2013- Peyton Manning 79.0 2014- Aaron Rodgers 77.8 2015 - Cam Newton 61.4 2016 - Matt Ryan 79.6 2017 - Tom Brady 70.6 2018 - Patrick Mahomes 80.3 2019 - Lamar Jackson 83.0 2020 - Aaron Rodgers 79.8 2021 - Aaron Rodgers 69.1 2022 - Patrick Mahomes 79.0 Current top 3 QBR leaders this season: Brock Purdy - 75.6 Dak Prescott - 75.4 Josh Allen - 72.4 Newton by far has the lowest QBR of recent MVP winners. A 15-1 record and a monster 45 TD season carried him the MVP. My prediction is Dak wins the MVP. Allen wins the MVP if the Bills win out. Purdy is the question mark. Feels like many are trying to find reasons to not give the award to him. If Dak cools off and the Cowboys drop 2 of 3 to Eagles, Bills and Dolphins and the Bills don't win out, I can see the award coming down to Purdy vs. Tyreek.
  19. My gut instinct, in order of most likely losses left on the schedule: @ LA Chargers vs. Dallas @ KC @ Miami vs. New England Chargers just feels like a game we will lose. They play nearly every game close. It will be a battle of who doesn't blow it at the end.
  20. 100% he can. Dak is having a heckuva, season and playing really well of late. He’d be the player I would give MVP to if the season ended today. But the bills and Allen finishing strong would include a victory over the Cowboys and Dak. Allen already has very good overall numbers. Third in the league in QBR, first in total touchdowns and tied for second and passing touchdowns. With very good numbers already it’s not like he would have to go berserk statistically to end the season. The key ingredient is winning out.
  21. Yep. that’s exactly how the drought was broken. We lost the head to head to the Chargers that year but it was a 3+ team tie breaker scenario.
  22. History has told us it’s at least less than 13 seconds. Although didn’t the Chiefs get a field goal against us the next year before the half in 12 seconds?
