  1. We will let you know now then. They've already done a mug shot and he has posted bail. His jail time so far has been brief but it did actually happen.
  2. Lol. Exactly! Billl at the start of the season when Rice isn't on the field: "Put me on record, there's no way he serves the entire 15 year sentence."
  3. They dumped Kareem Hunt for far less. What Rice did was 100x as deadly and stupid than what Hunt did.
  4. This did not age well. I don't know if Rice serves actual time behind bars or not. I would wager a better than decent chance he either misses the entire season or sits out a good 6 games or so on league suspension. But to think someone who speeds because they are racing another sports car, causes a six car accident and LEAVES THE SCENE, wouldn't be brought into custody is something else.
  5. Haha. My thoughts too! 39% and 18% chances respectively. Screw it. Let's just draft a Safety at #28 and DT at #60.
  6. People need to come to the realization that the days of the Bills offense running through a WR that gets 140+ targets is over. Diggs got that and then some during his time as a Bill, 160+ targets per year on average. Look for the Bills to feature 4-5 players all in the 80 -110 target range.
  7. Love the red helmet. But I am waiting for the inevitable blow back when they bring it back with the "all red" uniform.
  8. I agree. I think we are getting away from an offense that force feeds the ball to one receiver for 140+ targets every season. Diggs averaged just over 160 targets per season with the Bills these last four years. All of the "top 4" WR's in this draft would likely be guys demanding that type of work load. I think our offense is better suited to not have any one player targeted more than 120 times. I see Worthy as a legitimate possibility because he offers something none of our other players have in speed and could be a guy that sees less than 90 - 100 targets a season and still produces and threatens the defense vertically. I could also see them targeting WR in the 2nd round, hopefully with a trade up to get the guy they want. Doing so, sets the tone that, hey, you are piece to the puzzle here but you are not THE piece.
  9. I'm thinking he would likely cost us this years #2. So no WR at pick 60. I wouldn't want to give up this year's #1. So maybe pick 60 this year and one more mid round pick next year?
  10. I still like DK Metlcaf. 1. He's young. We would basically acquire him at the same age as when the Bills acquired Diggs. 2. The physical traits are still there. 3. He has one elite season under his belt back in 2020 and you could definitely make the case that that was the last time he played with a top 10 QB. 4. He won't be WR that commands the QB's attention all the time. He's still just a 120-140 targets per season receiver. Compare that to Diggs who basically averaged 160 targets per season in his four years with the Bills. I actually think in our offense DK could be a 100-115 targets per season WR and basically produce similar to Davis but at a higher level since we have seen that DK's ceiling is a 1300 yard 10.1 ypt season. And this would allow our offense to have a balanced passing attack. I'd love to see an offense where our top 4 targeted pass catchers are all within about 15-20 targets of each other at the end of the season. 5. With a new coaching staff and no franchise QB on the roster i could see Seattle making him available.
  11. Is that what we want though? Is Josh going to be Aaron Rogers now. Dictating the personnel? I'm not sure the GOAT ever actually had BFF's in New England. It was all business. At a minimum, Bill wouldn't have given two cents about player relationships.
  12. Diggs missed his window I suppose as he'll be turning 31 this season. He knows he could be out of the league within a year or two at that age. Even if he is capable and better than most 3rd and 4th WR's on the depth chart, it's not likely Diggs is going to hold on for several years and take marginal backseat roles in offenses. Allen's still what 27 or 28? His and the Bills window will be wide open for the next several years at minimum.
  13. Question is, can he handle Diggs target load? Not likely. Diggs is a do it all type WR in terms of the route tree. I don't see DK as that guy. And does he have the endurance? He's a massive dude. That said, I would be all for bringing in DK, even if it cost us a similar package that brought Diggs here. It's a bit of a gamble because he does only have that one great season but one could argue that was the last season Wilson was good and so the last season DK had an elite QB. Some of the tangibles are certainly still there with him. If we brought him in and he ended up being basically Davis but on a higher level, I think I would be fine with that. I think the team is wanting to go in a direction of spreading the ball around more and not having that one guy that needs to get over 140 targets every year.
  14. Because they can get multiple picks for him and there is a chance he is Gave Davis with the exception of one great season that Gabe never had.
  15. He is somewhat living off of his 2020 season still, which was close to elite. But his yards per target over the last 4 years is actually higher than Diggs 4 years here in Buffalo.
  16. Ours season will hinge far more on our overall defense and some of the big changes in the secondary rather than the loss of a soon to be 31 year old WR who has produced next to nothing in the back half of each of the last two seasons, including no showing nearly every playoff game. As long as we have JA, Bills Super Bowl window will always be open. We just need the defense to actually hold an opponent to 20-24 points for once in the divisional/championship round. Not likely to make the Super Bowl if your defense is giving up 27+ points every time you reach the divisional round.
  17. There are so many good WR prospects in this draft, it's hard to get behind a trade into the top 10 and what it would cost in draft capital. That said, I am 100% expecting a trade up but it will be somewhere in the 20-26 range. Beane will want to secure his guy.
  18. Allen >>> Burrow in the playoffs and it’s not even close. If the Bills defense played like the Bengals and Chiefs defense in the postseason the Bills would have multiple Super Bowl appearances and at least one Lombardi since 2020.
  19. I’d love to see this. Although I would set some ground rules and keep the punter as there are certain times you just got to punt.
  20. Often not mentioned, but given the Bengals total domination of the Bills these last two seasons, I highly doubt the Bills beat them in the championship game the next week. We would have lost that one just like the Chiefs did.
  21. The defense will have to adjust once the ball touches the ground or the returner fields the kick. I would think you would see several coverage guys either drop back a few yards are perhaps more likely stay where they are rather than be part of the initial pursuit. That way the defense sets up multiple layers.
  22. Not entirely. Watkins was not ruined by a bad QB. He would have bust whether he played with EJ, Tyrod or Mahomes. In fact, I think his best year was with Tyrod despite having played with Mahomes. If Watkins was as advertised, he would have still been on the team Allen’s first few seasons in the league and having a positive impact on his development as young QB, regardless of EJ busting.
  23. Sammy seemed like a can’t miss prospect at the position and look at how that turned out. 28 to 17 or 18 for our 2025 1st rounder just feels like too much to give up regardless of what the trade chart says.
  24. my point is that I would expect increased production out of both Shakir and Kincaid over any free agent signings. Our own in house draft picks is where we should at first expect Davis stats to go to. Some will go to Samuel.
