Same here and I love it. I can't stand waiting for 1pm (west coast) kick offs.

From what I can tell, the NFL did something weird with both the Pats and Falcons schedules specifically. Was it just coincidence that these are the two reigning conference champs? Will this be more common for conference champs moving forward? Is it all about trying to keep the Pats and Falcons from clinching their divisions for as long as possible? Both Pats and Falcons play 5 of final 6 inside division. And Falcons even have four straight to end the season inside the division. I've occasionally heard of 4 or 5 or three straight all inside the division to end a season before but never what the Pats and Falcons have this year. I checked out the final six for all the other teams in the NFL and it looked like at most I saw 3 of final 6 games inside the division. In fact it looked like quite a few teams did not have a schedule back loaded with divisional games, many with only 2 in the final six. Jets only have one in final seven for some reason. Of course the Bills, Dolphins, Saints and Bucs have a lot of divisional games to end the season but I think that has more to do with the Pats and Falcons schedules than it does those individual teams.

Everyone should watch the 8:48 mark too. Game against the Bengals. Carl Pickens catches a TD that would never stand in today's game. Thank God for replays today. Only thing I don't miss about 90's football.

How far we have fallen in just a couple of seasons from the "cold front".

Good Lord Brady has been around for way too long. That looks like a game broadcast in the 90's with that old CBS score graphic and the old 90's unifroms. And we've gone through two uniform changes since then.

I think it depends on how wide a net you cast for average. I forget who said it, but I think it was Sherman maybe, I know blasphemy to use his name around here. But basically you have like 8 elite QBs, then 4 or 5 guys on the verge of elite. Then a couple dozen guys who are basically interchangeable. There will definitely be some bad starting QBs next year. Guys who are certainly no better than Kaepernick.

It's a waste of my time to argue with someone who doesn't realize Taylor is measurably much better than EJ could ever be in 2015, 2016 or whatever year you want to use. Pointing to one team that EJ lost to in 2015 and then pointing to that same team in 2016 that Taylor barely beat and saying "see Taylor wasn't very good or under achieved" seems flawed at best. Why did the Jags only have three wins? Because they are still a very flawed team. Their defense was better, 6th ranked, but not great. They weren't a Houston or Seattle type defense. And the offense turned the ball over way too many times as was already noted.

Jags defense in 2016 was much better than in 2015. Especially in YPG. YPG 2016 ranked 6th 2015 ranked 24th PPG 2016 ranked 24th 2015 ranked 31st It's been a long time, if ever, since EJ has put up a good game against any team.

I agree if we are talking about the general Vegas visitor. But I do think the Raiders in Vegas has the potential to be one of the more sought out road games that fans circle on their calendar as far as making a weekend trip for a game. Maybe not the best thing for a home field advantage but it will sell tickets. Also, as someone who's lived in California all his life, I can say that the Raiders truly are California's team. From Southern California to Northern California. I'd say that probably half of all Raider fans probably live in what would be described as Southern California. Many of them will now actually be closer to the team in terms of driving distance. And I also don't see the bay area fans revolting like the Charger fans have.

Won't be suprised at all if there are more Bills fans ast the 35,000 seat Stub Hub Center this season than Chargers fans when we play them in L.A. I'm planning on going. How often can you say you saw your team play in a 35,000 seat stadium? I also only live about an hour and half away too. Of course. And maybe 25 percent of them are actual Chargers fans. Others are just hoping to make a buck on resell. Haven't checked but they better hope the Cowboys and Redskins are coming to L.A. within the next couple seasons. And not just the Bills and Browns.

There is a big difference between nobody wanting him as a starter at a high price and nobody wanting him as a starter period. Texans for example would have surely offered him a deal in a heartbeat to be their starter. Just may not have been big money. Glad you are not making decisions. In what world is EJ a good back up? He's failed every test as the back up miserably. The London debacle is well documented. And he looked terrible last year against a really bad Jets team. And Bridgewater? He was nothing special even before the injury. He had what 14 TDs in 2015?

And why is EJ on a roster? Or Geno Smith? If you had to win one game, and your options were EJ, Geno or Kaepernick it would be hard to imagine Kaepernick wouldn't be the choice 10 out of 10 times.

They provide comic relief when they are wrong which seems to be about 100% of the time.

Brady has next to zero to do with why the Pack don't have more titles or even super bowl appearances with Rodgers. I do believe Packers GM and head coach should be on the hot seat considering the lack of conference titles with arguably the best QB in the league.

With the way the rules have changed, especially with bang bang targeting and blow to the QB's helmet penalties that cost teams 15 yards and automatic first downs, I see these issues coming to the forefront as much as the length of the games.

Obviously a team wouldn't be able to challenge every play. They would only have one penalty challenge per game for example. I'm all for that and don't know why anyone would be against it.

I'm with you on the Micah Hyde signing, but that's it. Upgrade at FB? It's FB. Same with Kicker. Kicker was going to be upgraded with or without Gilmore just based on how bad Carpenter was. And with kickers you never know when they will lose it anyway. Remember, Carp was great when he first arrived. And while it is nice we have Hyde, who filled an obvious hole at Safety, now we have an obvious hole at CB, so in the end, it's net neutral.

Doesn't exactly seem like we got real good bang for our buck with that extra 12 million so far. Management should have had the foresight to sign Gilmore to a more team friendly contract extension a season or two ago. Waiting till the player hits free agency never works out.

I understand you can't retain all your talented home grown players, but that should be the goal. Yes a rookie will be cheaper than Gilmore, but there is a chance the rookie could bust. Also, instead of filling another hole in the roster with the pick, we have to replace a position that was already set last season. Hence the spinning wheels. Eventually the goal has to be able to retain good players. Not just pick another one after their rookie deal is up. It helps if you can be proactive and give players like Gilmore a 2-3 year extension a season or two before their final season.

My vote would be for Maybin even over a bust like Flowers. Maybin was a top 10 draft pick, making his bust worse compared to Flowers who I think was a late first round pick. And compared to Williams who was a top 3 pick, Maybin was a head scratching pick where you could question what management was thinking when other players were available. Williams was a consensus good pick at the time.

The way OBD operates that probably is their goal. Hopefully, they have one or two guys they actually really like and aren't just drafting a QB to draft one.

As long as the trade does not cost us a 2018 1st round pick I'm good with anything. That means we would probably have to move into the very late first round. 28-32.
