  1. His floor is probably Tyrod Taylor. So with that being the case I would assume he could certainly play the position in the NFL and there would be at least a handful of teams that would draft him as such.
  2. The thing about Darnold is he can make all the throws and then some. That jump pass was ridiculous. And has he even started a whole season yet? I like both Darnold and Rosen about equally. They both look really good.
  3. So does this mean the Bengals win four straight now which would include a win against us during that streak?
  4. This. It's about what have you done for me lately. Unfortunately both QB's level of play on the field is currently trending down. Kaepernick even more so then Taylor recently. But if Taylor does not have a bounce back year this year he might not start again next year for us or any other team in the NFL. If he bounces back and has a season similar to his 2015 season then I am fairly confident he will get another starting chance with us or another team in the future.
  5. I'm planning on going o USC vs. UCLA in November. So I guess I will find out. Then we are going to Bills at L.A. Chargers the next day. Should be a good football weekend. Scout two possible future QBs for the Bills and then watch the Bills play. I actually think the Raiders in Vegas will be a hit. I think enough Raider fans from all around California will want to do a weekend trip to Vegas and see their Raiders too. I do expect it to see pretty high opposing fan attendance too just because of the draw of going to Vegas and seeing your favorite team play too. How many locals will support the Raiders? Don't know but the percentage will not need to be as high with the loyal California fans and opposing team fans filling seats as well.
  6. I'll say this about that play after watching it again. We see that kind of bang bang play near the goal line all the time. About half the time the receivers actually hang on to the ball. The other half of the time the receivers drop the ball. Almost zero percent of the time does it end up an INT. So I would say neither player is to blame for the fact that it ended up and INT. It was really just a freak sort of play.
  7. How in the world are we only 2nd in run defense? Who ran the ball worse than the Jets today?
  8. Incredible catch, to a degree yes. But at the same time you don't expect that pass, even if it is a little late or off target, to be picked. You expect the receiver to get enough of the ball to not have it bounce off of him and travel 5 yards behind him.
  9. Can't complain about this performance from TT today. Heck, checking ou most the box scores around the league TT is probably in the 90th percentile this week in terms of overall play. Jets aren't a great team but their defnese is probably at least average at worse. It's their offense that makes that team the favorite for the #1 pick. But I think the 49ers and maybe even Colts might have something to say about that. But with their scheudle it's just hard to see where the Jets will win a game.
  10. I'm still like Darnold or Rosen. Darnold's ability to throw on the run is something else.
  11. I'm confused. Why aren't the Rams playing him? This isn't that much different than the Le'Veon Bell situation right? I know Bell came back like Monday or Tuesday I guess. So he had most the week to practice. But if I were the Rams I feel like I would at least play the guy even if in a limited role to get back in football condition.
  12. Hopefully he continues to get in consistently otherwise you might see too many 4-5 point games from him. Always very risky playing New England RB's.
  13. Because the one consistent has been Brady and Belicheck. As long as they are still there they have a chance.
  14. I forgo about Harris. Was he even out there? Didn't see him or hear is name called all night.
  15. Too bad we don't play the Pats in the next few weeks. Then again maybe they will lose even more plays by week 14 or whenever we first play them.
  16. I was extemely close to taking Gilislee in fantasy. Obviously last night would have been great to have him. Overall though it is hard to trust Belicheck with RB's. Don't be suprised to see Gilislee end up with 14-15 TD's on the year but he might only get 600-700 yards. He will be boom or bust. I would think they will use White more in the long run. They are really going to need his receiving skills out of the backfield. Especially if Amendola is out for an extended period.
  17. If they don't find a replacement for Edleman and possibly Amendola by the time we play them late in the season they will probably be playing a different style. The other encouraging thing is that #39 on he Chiefs couldn't cover in that game the firs three quarters without making a huge penalty. Yet the Pats and Brady still struggled and loss. Maybe our secondary has a chance.
  18. Same here. My first impression was that they were SLOW. Very little pass rush. Brady sailed more high and long balls last night then I have ever seen him throw in his career. Not sure what the deal was. The only guy he could hit consistently was Amendola who was playing the Edleman role. He couldn't connect with Hogan at all going like 1-6 to him or something like that. That was the same year they also got blown out in Arrowhead week 4. So they started 2-2. It was definitely sky is falling attitude in New England.
  19. Probably the season we beat the Pats week 3 with Fitz? Was that 2011? I think we started 3-0. Then 5-2. Then the wheels came off.
  20. His durability was a bit of an issue. And we had him when he was young. You usually don't get more durable with age. I don't see Gilmore aging well.
  21. These bums probably cost us a couple of positions in the draft.
  22. I still want to go after the #1 pick so here is to the Jets being in sole possesion of 1st place.
  23. I want to lose this game so bad. I think the biggest reason is fear of the Jets ending up with the number one pick. First time in 25 plus years of cheering for the Bills where I legitimately feel like I will route for them to lose from the opening kick off. If there wasn't another team in our same division that was a huge favorite for the #1 pick going into this season then I think I would have a completely different outlook on this game and possibly the season as a whole.
