Karlos Williams was awesome though. So much talent and he performed up to it his rookie year. It was worth the risk at the 155th overall pick. Just a shame he couldn't keep it together mentally.
-
Yet they passed on him all together when they could have just signed him without giving up anything. They believed the better option was giving up a third for Tyrod. I'll take that bet. No way is Hue out. Tyrod maybe. Could be injured or maybe Baker starts to play well in practice. But the Browns could literally start 1-5 and they would have like a 500% increase in winning percentage over the last two seasons.

"Josh Allen is blowing people away" - Chris Simms

I thought Simms was big on Lamar Jackson before the draft. -
I'd love to come across a cheap McGee jersey on ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Terrence-McGee-24-Buffalo-Bills-Youth-Sizes-S-M-L-XL-Premier-Sewn-Jersey/191853865346?hash=item2cab61a982:m:m-11N_eXfWuRLJESsyZGKQA:sc:USPSFirstClass!93309!US!-1 Dang. Brand new Terrence McGee jersey for less than $12. Free shipping. Too bad those Bledsoe/JP/Trent era jersey's totally suck though.

I'm almost 100% certain Greer was on that '09 Super Bowl team for the Saints. Yeah it was 2009, his first season with the Saints. He was a Bill from 2004 to 2008. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/G/GreeJa22.htm
-
He was a good corner for us but not close to the best I don't think. I seem to remember thinking Greer was the better of the two when they were both our starters. When you combine McGee's explosive return ability though he was possibly our best player at the time which I believe was the JP Losman/Trent Edwards era.
-
Yes. Greer and McGee were both good. I believe they were our starting CB tandem for a year or two. Greer had another couple good seasons with the Saints when he left Buffalo and won a Super Bowl with them. Bills have never lacked talent at the CB position over the last twenty seasons.

2018 Schedule Review Games 1-4

On paper we should start 0-4. But my money is on a 2-2 start. Like last year this team will find a way. -

Chargers and Ravens were right there with us in the end, we just had the perfect storm for once and made it on tiebreakers. Packers played without Rodgers for half the year or they would have been a playoff team. This is a stuff slate of games to start the season. Throw in an unkown at the QB position no matter who wins the starting job and I could easily see a 2-2 start at best. -

Baker clearly hits the left side of the tire. It just doesn't go through the tire. Those who say he doesn't hit the tire are wrong. But at any rate who cares. -

Jets move was dumb at the time. But in hindsight it worked out great for them. -

Which Bills Decision Infuriated You?

We traded down to get EJ. Bills were probably the first team ever to trade down to get their franchise QB. That's never a good sign. -

Flutie had 21-9 record while a Bill. That includes a 4-1 record after he lost the starting job to Rob Johnson to start the 2000 season. Rob Johnson had a cumulative 9-17 record as a Bill which included a 4-7 record in that same 2000 season. Flutie was 38 years old that 2000 season so it's not likely he would have gone on to be great in the coming seasons. But even with that being the case 21-9 is a great record for a QB to have in my book. Although with a 4-1 record in 2000, who knows, maybe the Bills reach 10 wins under Flutie (they finished 8-8 that year ) if he starts all 16 games. -
More wins in 2018, Browns or Bills?
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There are two things in the NFL that you should never try to go against the grain on: 1. Always assume the Patriots will win. 2. Always assume the Browns will lose. Until proven otherwise, I'll go with the Bills to win more games simply because it's the Browns. -

We could of won the game by two TDs with Johnson. I still wouldn't have agreed with the decision though. Now, had Johnson actually gone on to be a decent QB for us then I would have to eat crow as not being a fan of the decision at the time. -
