Minus the part about having a dominant edge rusher/defense.

NEW NARRATIVE ON TYROD
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Wagon Circler's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was a little of both. D was terrible for some stretches. And they finished the season ranked in the bottom third for yards and ppg. They certainly were not a top 10 or even 15 defense that carried the team every game. I could see that for sure. Hope I am wrong because that would probably mean Allen is playing well. -
[Edited Title] Tremaine Edmunds looks Lost
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to *******'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He'll also need to learn to get low for leverage to shed blocks and make tackles. At 6'5" that is no easy task. -
Sal Carpaccio: Corey Coleman Is In Trouble
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah I forgot about Streater. One of Streater/Holmes/Kerley is definitely being cut I think. Ray Ray and Coleman are both young and have too much potential to not keep. -
Sal Carpaccio: Corey Coleman Is In Trouble
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Either Holmes or Kerley will be a surprise cut. My money would probably be on Kerley. Ray Ray has played very well so far and imagine he can do a lot of the same things Kerley would do for us but with the upside of being much younger with more potential. Before pre-season kicked off i thought Kerley would be a lock simply because he was the most experienced receiver on our roster. Coleman probably makes it simply because of his speed and Allen's arm. Man what we would give up to have Goodwin on this team still. -
When did Jags fans become so anti-Bills?
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think they are getting behind their all pro CB and his comments against our QB. -
I'm assuming if you wanted to cut him in 2015 then you would have also wanted to cut him in 2016. Unless you had a change of heart? I think the fact that we had a GM in transition and a new GM that didn't arrive until after losing Goodwin and Woods in free agency but before trading Watkins complicated things. Maybe Beane would have kept one of or both of Woods/Goodwin knowing he wanted to move Watkins. Or maybe if Whaley stayed on through the start of the 2017 season we would have kept Watkins which ended up being a healthy year for him for the most part. All in the past now.

We had neither Hogan or Thompson in 2016 which was Goodwin's final season with us. IIRC, we lost Goodwin and Woods in the same free agency. We should have probably had the foresight to keep at least one of the two. And didn't Harvin retire halfway through the 2016 season? Our depth was greatly depleted by the time we could have made a decision on Goodwin.

Let's wait till Brady actually hangs them up before we declare that. I can just see us going into the 2022 season saying this is it, Brady is going to decline this year...

2018 Rookie Reaction Packs ?
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hopefully 15 years from now we just view it like Tom Brady's combine photo. Poor guy hasn't been told yet that he's been drafted by a CFL team. -
Mahomes vs Allen deep ball
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Kingston Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It seems like Mahomes has a big arm on deep throws. Where as Allen has a big arm on all of his throws. Meaning he throws with greater velocity on those 10-15 yard throws than a player like Mahomes. -
Double Standard Kelvin Benjamin/Jalen Ramsey?
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to benderbender's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A couple of differences that come to mind: 1. Jalen is an all pro at his position I believe. Regarded as the best corner in the game today. KB is far from the best WR in the game today. Might not be fair but the better you are at your job the greater margin of error you have in any outlandish comments you may have. 2. KB criticized a player who was league MVP and lead his team to the super bowl all while KB was injured. Jalen is criticizing a player that is at this point in their career a complete unkown and does for better or worst have a lot of question marks regarding ability to perform at the NFL stage. -
Joe B: 53 Man Roster Projection - Final
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rodak has Ray Ray being cut. I can't see that happening. -
Allen already a factor in QB race ?
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep. And we did a terrible job of preparing and protecting Peterman last year in his first start against the Chargers. One of the first three teams we will play this year. I'm fine with sitting Allen for the first quarter of the season unless he is looking unbelievably good in the preseason. -
Gilmore was excellent for the Pats week 6 on ward or so. So no surprise.

Allen already a factor in QB race ?
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The last time i was this excited to watch pre-season football was when we had Tyrod battling it out with EJ and Cassel. Can't wait for this three way competition to get started. That's brutal. Maybe throw Peterman out there for the first three games. -
NFLN live from Bills camp
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The last time we had a completely open three way competition at the QB position it worked out pretty well for us with Tyrod rising to the top. Hopefully we get a similar result this time around but with a QB that can continue to improve each year. -
LeSean McCoy allegations
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to FeelingOnYouboty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My gut feeling... McCoy will get a hefty suspension from the league. But be found innocent of all charges if any, in the court of law. Just not sure there will ever be the smoking gun that links McCoy to this. And you know he is going to have a very good and expensive team of lawyers. -
Eric Moulds... What happened to him?
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Braedenstearns's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I love Moulds even though my first memory of him is getting stripped against Miami in the wild card game after hauling in a huge catch on our opening drive.
