He was 3 for 3 so no drops.

Agreed. Just checked and Davis actually had himself a good game today. 3 for 3 and 62 yards with a long of 22. Doing his usual Gabe things. Davis' problem is that he should never be target more than 4 times in a game IMO. You try to get him more involved than that and bad things happen.
-
Has he had a good playoff game yet?? Feel like every playoff game he has ever had has been average or bad.
-
No. There is Josh Allen and Mahomes and then everyone else. Bears are hoping Williams can get on the Allen and Mahomes level. We will see. They have a lot of talent at the skill posiiton in Chicago. Caleb's rookie season could be what we would have seen from Mahomes if he had played his rookie year. In an alternate universe I would love to see Mahomes in Buffalo with McD and Allen is KC with Reid and Kelce just to see the predictable results.

Unfortunately, I think Purdy has a Ravens type of game from last year. Jets defense is going to give him a long night to forget.

Yep, officials just are not that likely to call a WR for contact. Tee Higgins had a massive pull down (wasn't a push off but rather a big grab and pull) on Ramsey in the Super Bowl that enabled him to get position to catch the ball and it went uncalled for a TD. The basketball background really shows. He's comfortable with body contact. Probably part of the reason why he doesn't get a lot of separation. He's not really trying to get separation.

Well then we will have to just live with the one push off they call out of every 10 he does which is totally fine. Pretty sure that is about the rate the officials tend to call push offs on the offense. Fact is Keon was called for zero penalties today while he drew two flags on the defense.

Me. But that is also why I picked Cinci. Other option was Bills but I sure as heck was not going to curse my own team.

Shakir picking up exactly where he left off last year was nice to see. Not a ton opportunities for the receivers in this game overall due to the total lack of possession in the fist quarter of the game. Feels very much like WR/TE by committee which I am fine with. KC has won back to back super bowls with largely the same approach. If anything, I would like to see the RB's invlolved in the passing game even more than they were today and they still combined for nearly 50 receiving yards today. But i could see them averaging 60+ I think it will turn out to be Keon. Heck of a game from him today IMO and that is just with 5 targets and 51 receiving yards. But drawing two legitimate PI flags was big as well.

I'd be fine with 49% if I were the owner.

Week 1, Cards v. Bills - GAME BALLS!
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dude is going to either be a PI magnet or eventually start to go off on the stats sheet. Great day for the rookie today. No he didn't have two scores on 3 touches today but he made his presence known to the defense all day. -

He will have to collect his from the Cardinals forum. -
100% maybe even the 40 after today why in the world would you not accept the ball at the 30 if you are kicking?

All Shakir does is YAC. Must be those short legs. -
Tyreek Hill apparently arrested this morning…

That's some real home town advantage for Jacksonville. I'll have to jump over to FinHeaven to see how Dolphin fans are taking this news this morning. -
Crazy Josh Allen stat ahead of his 7th season

Only thing that comes to mind for me is hiring Spags as HC just so KC doesn't have him anymore. Addition by subtraction from our arch rival. -
Curtis Samuel.....How impactful will he be tomorrow??
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
Might not happen immediately this season but I badly want #0 to be a star. His personality is off the charts good. And don't count out #10 when he gets the ball in his hands he finds a way to make good things happen. I expect that to continue. The only question is can the Bills continue to get the ball into his hands consistently with an increased work load. -

345+ yards passing from Allen today and that's just to four receivers. So you have Allen getting close to 400 yards passing. How is Arizona's defense? If they are bad all around I would expect the Bills to try and run the ball enough that Allen doesn't go over 315 through the air. -

Wasn't he back to practice like a week ago? Feel like if the toe were event remotely still an issue he wouldn't have been practicing all week. -

Beane is looking for that big free agent hit at the WR position. He hasn't hit since Brown and Beasley in 2019. Samuel has a lot of promise similar to Sanders and Crowder when they came to Buffalo. Neither of those guys really lived up to expectations. I hope Samuel at least outperforms each of them in terms of ability and availability. That would be a monster season. I would settle for like 60- 70 all purpose yards per game. -
Crazy Josh Allen stat ahead of his 7th season
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
The other Josh Allen stat I love is the consecutive seasons with 40+ TD's. Only two players in NFL history have had two such consecutive seasons, Breed and Allen. Only Allen has done it for 4 consecutive seasons. In all four of those seasons he has hit 40+ TD's in 16 games or less. He's never needed the 17th game to reach the mark. Practically speaking, Josh is on pace to be the all-time TD leader. Mahomes is not. -
Who cares. They can do whatever they want. Team would obviously win either way in that scenario.

The chatter around the Worthy trade isn't rational
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not wading through 15 pages of posts. What this comes down to is evaluation. Way too early to grade the evaluation on either side. As long as Coleman hits as a elite player then Beane can't lose. I don' care about the actual trade. But if Worthy is a plus player for the Chiefs and Coleman never becomes one for the Bills, then that is a big fail by Beane and another failed evaluation.
