What happened to Bucs having the best defense in the league?

Looks good on paper. Did you win last week? I see that week 8 was a loss for you. My six team teaser is already blown for this week thanks to the Titans crappy punter. I like that teaser a lot. If i had to guess on a team that ruins it maybe the Patriots come away with the victory somehow. I actually wouldn't mind that as it probably means Lamar Jackson has a terrible game. Steelers eventually have to lose just based on the law of averages so that is a threat too. Singletary probably least likely of those. I like Miami this week too but hope I am wrong.

To add to that, there was that thread a few weeks ago of 5-2 teams with negative point differential. Basically only 1 out of 3 in NFL history had gone on to make the playoffs. This year that was the Bills, Bears and Browns. It was obvious three weeks ago just as it is today which team would be the one to make the playoffs and which two would likely not. Fast forward a couple weeks and Bills now are +9 point differential and 7-2, Browns are -31 and 5-3, Bears are -12 and 5-4. Neither the Bears or Browns are currently in playoff position in the standings.

Got Gabe Davis to score 2 or more TD's + 8000 I feel like Davis offers some of the best value out there. Diggs for example has the same number of TD's on the season as Davis but for the same prop today they have Diggs odds at +600. Knox is + 2000 today. Davis gets targeted plenty in the end zone. In three separate games this year he has had TD's taken off the board. Two by penalties and one that went right through his hands. He should have a TD in 5 of his last 6 games dating back to the Raiders game and 6 out of 9 games on the season. Davis anytime TD scored is +600 Diggs to score 3+ TD's is only +2000. That's insane. Should be like +15000

Time for Knox to have a big day.

I think we do a good job against the guys that like to run a good amount. The Jackson's, Wilsons Newtons and hopefully Murray's. It's the guys that have the skills to run but don't do it often that kill us. Tannehill and Mahomes come to mind. Mahomes had a couple back braking runs against us this year I think.

I have a feeling we really put it on the Patriots week 16. It feels like we finally got that monkey off our back. I think we will come out playing as loose as we ever have against the Pats in the last 20 years. And if we have the division or a playoffs spot already locked up by then that will really have us playing with confidence. If we can take this Cardinals game tomorrow and extend the record to 8-2 we will be playing with some serious momentum and house money. Hopefully the bye week doesn't derail all that momentum. That would be awesome if the Dolphins game gets flexed. But I would hope it would be for seeding for the Bills and win and you are in for the Dolphins. But usually they like to flex the final game to a do or die game for both teams.

I'm not sure he has a point there. Look at Jordan Love. To me Love is very similar to Allen. Both played at a lower conference. Both had great sophomore years that put them on the map as a prospect but followed those seasons up with poor junior years prior to being drafted. They both have the size and arm talent which enabled each to be drafted in the first round. I think Allen went top 10 because of his superior athletic ability. But at the end of the day both grew up in the California Central Valley (California fly over country), both went to small colleges and both went in the first round. Love went to much larger HS with a better program. That got him straight into division 1 program.

This. Josh is untouchable. Does that mean he is the best QB in the league? No. Mahomes will likely go on to have the better career and more gaudy stats. But you really couldn't mold a better QB than Josh Allen for this team. He belongs in Buffalo whether he finally wins the big one or not. Hopefully he does. Now if the question is who do I think will be better than Josh over the next 5-10 years? It's only one guy. Mahomes.

Yeah, i have to give it to Wilson still at the moment too. His defense is historically bad. He's the entire team. And even in their two losses he's lead their offense to over 30 points in each game. The encouraging thing is looking at the schedule I now no longer see games that we can't win. This game against Arizona and Pittsburgh should be the toughest games left. Any given Sunday of course. Overall team record and standing in conference will hold a lot of weight in the MVP race and bottom line is the Bills still have a chance to win out. IF, that happens Allen would at least be in major consideration at minimum.

I know we have a bye week coming up but I'm feeling another AFC Player of the Month coming up. Arizona's defense doesn't look great and Bills are likely going to need to score at least 30 to get a W. Should also be able to move the ball on the Chargers.

That was a steal for the Jets. Most over rated player in the league. He instantly makes your pass defense terrible. How many yards and TD's does the secondary give up for every sack he records?

Well, he's actually off to a great start now to better that 102.4

It's also partly due to Jamal Adams the most over rated player in the league being back in Seattle's line up. Allen and the Bills were content trading the occasional sack for big plays and TD's. He can get a couple sacks but how many yards does his team give up through the air because he's not playing in the secondary?

Oh heck no. You don't get off that easy buddy. Allen is very much in the conversation for MVP still. In fact, you could say with the head to head win against Wilson and the Seahawks, Allen can control his own destiny. I don't expect it to happen because I don't think we will always be putting up huge passing numbers where it seems Wilson pretty much has to every single game. But overall team wins and losses are a huge factor and the Bills and Allen still have potential to finish as the best team in the league so the door is still cracked open for Allen. Especially if he can knock off Murray next week.

I mean we were still up 14 with 8 minutes left at that point. The game realistically was still over.

Jamal Adams is the most over rated player in the league. He could lead the league in sacks, he's still over rated if you have the worst pass defense in the league because the guy makes your team a liability in the passing game.

Man that was a rough possession. The bills offense of the previous four weeks showed up. Kept moving backwards after getting into fg range. Great that we were able to score a TD. Nice play call to Brown to set it up.

He did for four games to start the season too. The last four were still good QB play but the entire team was in a slump and playing sloppy. That really hurt Allen's numbers. And of course being in the running for MVP is all about numbers.

It's ridiculous how bad this Seattle defense has been all year. Great to see Allen rolling again.
