  1. Yep. They are insecure about what is probably inevitable. Mahomes taking the GOAT title from Brady. They also despise the Steelers because they want to remain tied with them for most super bowl titles. But make no mistake, their tune will quickly change heading into next season if Allen and the Bills win the Super Bowl. It will be a very short lived admiration of the Bills.
  2. Keep in mind many of these guys talk about Lebron James or Brady or Rodgers like they are not great players. It's actually a great thing to have people constantly taking their bad takes to their grave that Allen isn't a great QB or good QB. They don't waste comments and air time talking about ones that are not great. As for Harrison, to be fair, all former Patriot players had every right to be the very last ones to come around on Allen and the Bills. So I have no problem there.
  3. Two weeks ago this looked like a possibility. But Pitt needed to beat the Bengals. Pittsburgh just hopes they don't lose out at this point. They have two tough games left. Browns may actually take the division. Anyone know if it is possible the Steelers could slip to the 7th seed? I think Ravens would have to not ,make it in that scenario which means Bills would have to lose week 17 to the Dolphins. But what are the tie breakers with Miami and Pitt? And could we have the #2 seed locked up before the Miami game? That would require the Titans to lose this week to the Packers I think? Pittsburgh for sure.
  4. With our QB and the addition of a third wild card team now, it's hard to see this team not making the playoffs every year for the next 10-15 years.
  5. Depends on New England's game plan week 16 and who is playing. If Stidham starts and they throw the ball a lot (maybe to evaluate Stidham) I would say 50/50 chance. I saw it go as high as -7 at my book. But I was able to get it again at -6 a day later. I've mostly switched to betting 6pt teasers though. Bills feel like a lock at either +0 or -1.
  6. Gabe Davis has been close to a multi TD game several times this year. This might be the game he finally gets it.
  7. By very poor evaluation, planning and design. Along with Allen being a boom or bust prospect their piss poor evaluation of Peterman not once but twice was a big reason why I didn't have much faith in Allen after we drafted him. Luckily Allen put in the work and overcame the odds.
  8. Bump. Looks like blindly taking the over on all would end up with a winning record. A lot of people taken to the wood shed with Motor Over 1000 rushing yards though. Pretty much everyone nailed the over on Josh Allen TD's and completion percentage. I think Tre could still go over 4.5 INTs for the season. He's at 3 now. Moss needs to find the end zone three more times in the final three games. Also a chance. Everything else has already either hit the over (after today) or has no chance (Motor and Addison)
  9. Freaking Hail Murray! The situation I want to avoid at all costs is playing Miami with our B team in a win and you're in game for Miami in which we will play them again the following week. It's been a while but I remember that same scenario about 10 years ago the Jets played the Bengals. Bengals already clinched so they didn't play hard. Jets won and following week the Jets beat the Bengals again. Miami's defense is legit. I don't see Allen having as easy a day as he did back in week 2. Don't want to give Miami any confidence they can come into Buffalo in January and win.
  10. So we were screwed either way? Neither Watkins, OBJ or Ebron saw a second contract with their original team.
  11. The thing that hurts Allen the most right now is the Hail Murray. If the Bills and Allen were 11-2 they would have a legitimate shot at the #1 seed depending on what the Saints can do this weekend or even if the Chargers and Herbert can upset them week 17. The MVP has always been 45% stats, 45% team record/seeding and 10 % story line. Mahomes pretty much has no story line this year. Allen has a great story line. But Mahomes has the better record and stats. Rodgers has all three but a lot of people are also starting to realizing the Packers haven't beaten any winning teams. They are feasting on bad teams. Allen can also hope that Rodgers and Mahomes split 65 percent of the vote and Allen edges them out by picking up 35% of the vote. But I think we would could see a record number of vote getters this year. Both Henry and Wilson will likely get some votes too.
  12. 12:2 TD:INT ratio or better for Allen to end the season and 3-0 and I think Allen would win it. But as you said, that would be something big, if not huge. I wonder if 10:2 could get it done. That would actually be somewhat realistic if Allen is able to add 4 tomorrow.
  13. Lawerence and Fields up next. Double Yikes.
  14. We benefited from paying the Chargers two weeks prior. After Bosa wrecked us they knew they had to establish a different game plan against Watt. Not sure, perhaps that enabled Tuit to go off in the first half but seemed like everything was fixed by the second half.
  15. Can we squeeze him in under the franchise tag? Not yet committing long-term.
  16. Interesting. And you have to get two vaccines about a month apart right? So better get that first shot by the new year to be safe.
  17. Surprised we haven't had a tackle catch a TD this year yet. So Singletary would seem the most likely player left to catch a TD and set the record at 13 different players. A record that could stand for a long time considering Allen would be one of the three to catch a TD. Or maybe Kumrow will catch one? You would have to filter out the guys like Taysum Hill and Kordell Stewart. But yeah, probably 2 at most would be by guess. Of course, I don't think Allen's post season receiving TD actually goes into the record book since regular season and post season are always separated.
  18. If I had to guess, in the AFC, Mahomes, Allen and Herbert end up running the conference for the next decade. I feel like the biggest similarity that Herbert and Allen share is what is inside their head. And that means a lot because they obviously have pretty similar physical traits too.
  19. Will completely depend on if he plays all 16 or not. If he does I'll say yes. He probably ends up with 34 or 35. I'm cautiously optimistic that he adds another 3 or even 4 tomorrow.
  20. It was an impressive throw but part of me wonders how many incompletions have actually been fully charted throughout NFL history. Especially ones that go out of the back of the end zone. Thinking if we dig a little deeper into the film archives maybe we find a few longer.
  21. Maybe Gruden thought they were wearing throwbacks?
  22. I've always liked Carr. But that said, he is the Kirk Cousins of the AFC. Neither is good enough for the ultimate goal of winning a super bowl. It goes beyond stats with these guys. The disaster blow-out loss in Atlanta a few weeks ago just can't happen. Both Carr and Cousins seem to have losses (plural) like that one every year.
  23. I really don't know that it was a big factor. Unless he aggravated at the very end of the Titans game. Allen actually played really well in the Titans game. But the entire team around him was crap that day.
