  1. Allen had all day to throw at times so locking up our starting 5 on the line is definitely a good thing. Hopefully somehow and someway we will get more out of the running game.
  2. Two Bills Drive is O-3 in free agency.
  3. Dysfunctional head coach doing his work down there.
  4. I think disaster is a bit much. In 2018 Beane moved up 6 spots to grab Edmunds. Bills received as many picks back two as they gave up, two. So it didn't cost us in terms of not having that extra pick for a low salary developmental guy. We need to be able to add low salary guys to the roster since the cap is a little tight right now. That would still be the case if we make a similar trade from say 30 up to 24. It will only cost us an approximate value of say the Bills 3rd round pick for the other teams 4th. Or possibly even just swap of 3rd rounders if the Bills have a late one and the other team has an early one. The 2021 Bills roster is also quite different than the 2018 Bills pre-draft roster. We have a championship caliber team that is looking to add one or two pieces that can get us over the top. In no way do I see a similar 2018 trade as mortgaging the future.
  5. I thought they moved up for Edmunds too in that same draft. But i could be wrong.
  6. He's a flat earther? That explains a lot. LOL
  7. How about a Sammy Watkins reunion on the cheap? And I do mean cheap. I can't imagine any team would give him more than a one year prove it deal given his history. I know Beane and company traded him but if Sammy doesn't have hurt feelings he should realize Buffalo was the only place he actually put up some respectable numbers. And with a play it safe QB in a running offense nonetheless. Maybe a reunion would be good for him.
  8. Oh that's right. You had Newsome in the first.
  9. I think this means changes to your mock now too right? Maybe trade up to the early 20's for Kadarius Toney?
  10. Everyone now saying Mongo is gone which means we should all assume an extension is imminent based on the last 24 hours.
  11. I still think BB was/is a darn good coach. Both super bowl wins against the Rams. Those were some good coaching jobs. Also coming back from 28-3. That takes a complete team effort.
  12. I certainly like him a lot more now that he is not in New England and he put to rest that ridiculous Kid GOAT talk. Dude will probably end up having 3 or 4 HOF careers rolled into one career. 2000-2006 3 rings 2007-2013 2 super bowl appearances, no rings but best career stats 2014-2019 3 rings 2020-202? 1+ ring and top 10 QB play still
  13. We know Beane is not afraid of moving up in the first round.
  14. Not for the Jaguars he wasn't. And that is the entire point BADOLBILLZ is making and it is a valid one. Nothing wrong with having a good RB. The argument is don't let them take up a lot of your cap (Zeke and Gurley). And don't draft them early when there are harder positions to fill with elite talent. I'm anti RB's early but I also desperately want a dynamic playmaker for this offense which seems to be the missing piece on offense. But maybe rather than a guy like Etienne we could go Kadarius Toney for playmaking ability.
  15. No because the way to attack the Chiefs defense is with RB's and TE's. See the Raiders success against them this year as well as the Super Bowl. Tampa Bay WR's were well below their averages in the super bowl while Gronk and Fournette went off.
  16. That is our biggest problem. Our offense is one dimensional. Part of growing out of that will be the continued development of Allen which I am sure will continue to happen. We need to utilize the RB's and TE's in the passing game more. We have to hope the Chiefs defense loses some key pieces in their secondary. Their defense is designed to specifically shut down the way we run our offense through our WR's. We either have to change the way we play offense or hope they change the way they play defense.
  17. He broke his fibula in 2018. It happened late in the season so he only missed the last handful of games but obviously would have been much more if the timing of the injury was towards the middle or beginning of the season. Back to back years with games missed with hamstring injuries after that season. This year being the worst in terms of games missed.
  18. I used to agree but taking one on day two hasn't really panned out for us. More than anything though I want a dynamic playmaker. If that's what Etienne projects as then I'm all for swinging for the fences. Probably the one that will pick the most Clemson players on draft day would be my guess.
  19. Seems like a lot of money. Other than our secondary I'm not really convinced we have a single player in our front seven that can't be replaced with a cheaper option with near identical results. Hope I am wrong. Milano did play at that level during stretches though. But then of course you have the injury history with him as well. Definitely a gamble. Hopefully we can find or develop a pass rush still.
  20. Seems like the same question could have been asked regarding the last two teams Fitz signed with. But those deals still happened. New England is not exactly holding much leverage in the ability to bring in the best QB's these days. They will likely go with a rookie but unless they surrender a lot of draft capital to move into the top 10 or top 5 they are probably looking at a guy that may not be ready to start and that will be surrounded by a poor offensive supporting cast.
  21. The obvious place for him is New England. He's probably just waiting for that phone call. New England sat on their hands most of last off-season until signing Newton late. I would think New England would also want to draft a young QB early too.
  22. I'm thinking 11 draft picks could be too many. On the plus side the lower salaries would help us keep under the cap and maybe sign two higher priced free agents. But on the negative side, we had a super bowl caliber team last year which means most the players on the roster performed well. Having 11 new rookies means either a good portion of those rookies don't make the team or we roll the dice by letting go some good players from last years roster so that these young guys can make the 53 man roster.
  23. Surprised by the move. With his age I thought we might see how the 2021 season goes and just work on an extension after next season if his play still warranted it.
  24. That's true. The double whammy for the Bills is that along with an average at best defense our offense runs through our WR's. KC's defense is designed to shut down WR centric offenses. We need more utilization and production out of our TE's and RB's.
