Yep. and one fumble for the Pats. This one is going to be ugly. And as both teams try to attempt more and more regular plays it will get uglier. -

"First turnover of the night. Won't be the last". I think that's an understatement. -

This feels like a game we should be throwing deep on 3rd down and longs if we are around mid field. Worst case scenario it gets picked and it's the same as a punt. -
You only have to be better than the guy across the field playing in the same conditions. That still might mean below average to even poor numbers for the game. it doesn’t mean Allen’s going to slice the ball through the wind and throw for 300+ yards and four touchdowns. It could simply mean not making the big mistakes and converting third downs. That would be defeating the wind. Last year’s playoff game against the ravens was a pretty good example of Allen holding up in the wind while Lamar Jackson did not. Allen didn’t have a great numbers but he handled the conditions and got the W.

Define clunker though. Because I don't expect the numbers to exactly look good tonight. 23+ mph winds and a very good defense. This game is less about Allen's numbers and more about getting a W. In fact that is the main thing here in terms of MVP. Would be better for Allen to have a bad game and win then to have a great game and lose if we are talking about his MVP odds.

SNF: Denver at KC 8:20 on NBC

I mean if you can go the vet route and that means Aaron Rodgers or Russel WIlson then you 100% do that. Drew Lock...puke. I'm hoping Strong is a lot better than that. Carson Strong strangely enough reminds me of a non-mobile Josh Allen. Doesn't sound like a great QB on the surface given how great Allen is with his mobility but the truth is Allen is a damn good passer now and being non-mobile just means Strong should start well ahead of Allen entering the league in terms of just standing in the pocket and reading the field etc. -

I'm calling Carson Strong to the Broncos next year. Think he will develop into a franchise QB and be a thorn in Mahomes side in that division. But yeah, I could see Rodgers to Denver too if he leaves. -
Sunday late thread: Baltimore at Pittsburgh

I don’t even think that tweet is accurate. Only would have happened if the Raiders won today which they did not. How would the Steerlers leap frog the Bills at 6-5-1 if the Bills drop to 7-5? -
Good insight HighFootballIQ Maybe you were a year late with your Dolphins love, huh? I'll be worried when they figure out to not lose by more than a TD to the Bills. Actually, that would have to at least beat the Bills first to get my attention. They are going through their easy stretch like the Bills did earlier this year. Difference is they aren't winning by an average margin of 28 points. Oh for the love of God! LOL.
