  1. No. But you need to be close. And look at what happened this week. Rodgers and Brady both won and Allen loss. Rodgers won throwing 4 TDs and Brady won over Allen. Allen isn't coming back from that. I'd expect his odds of winning to drop dramatically whenever it is they redo them. Murray can definitely still win it.
  2. I think you have enough time. Brady took the field with 22 seconds left. But the FG team would have to be ready to go on the sideline with no time to waste. Teams have certainly done it before. They may have stopped for a measurement too if it were deemed close.
  3. You mean the one trip into the red zone on their very first possession? That's actually one of the amazing things about that game. Bills offense only made it to the red zone one time the entire game. They were thoroughly dominated. They got close on their next possession but stalled at the 24. And ended up with a 3rd and 31 from Jacksonville's 45 yard line. I think part of this comes down to our inability to run the ball. I also don't think Diggs and Beasley, our two best receivers, are great goal line threats.
  4. We needed to win out before this game. He's toast now. Either Rodgers or Brady will win it. Brady should be the clear front runner and he'll win it barring some terrible collapse by the Bucs in which case it would be Rodgers to lose. And probably Murray after him even despite the 3 or 4 games missed. Didn't Brady win MVP the year he was suspended for four games? Murray could certainly get back in it if the Cardinals finish with the best records in the league.
  5. He could but our backs are up against the wall at this point. It's a must win until we can get past the next two games 2-0. Exit the Patriots game with only 6 losses and then we have some breathing room with two games left.
  6. I'm still not sold on Knox. It's nice he leads the league in TD's for TE's but just moving the sticks consistently is more important. I'd be weary of paying him too much whenever he hits the market. Not sure he will be worth what the market will want to pay him.
  7. Forgot we are two games back now. Next weeks game is real interesting. Almost doesn't matter who wins. I don't really feel like winning the division is a must if it doesn't come along with the #1 seed. I'm totally fine with this team playing well on the road in a wild card game. Some of their bad performances have come at home in really bad weather.
  8. Turbitzky could feel in for a week against the Panthers and Bills might win. But a fracture could be longer. I think Josh would gut it out though until the season was over and take the off-season to recover. Thinking it is better the Colts lose and Bills just handle their own business against the Pats. Bills can own tiebreakers over the Pats but not over the Colts.
  9. If they don't beat the Panthers we are screwed.
  10. Yeah saw that. Shocking since he finished the game and looked good doing so. Got to believe it is nothing but then why have the boot right?
  11. They did go for it against the Titans and they still lost so I don't think this line of thinking is correct. Why can't they get it in the end zone in 3 downs? The biggest observation should be that stats like these do not carry over year to year. They are kind of like turnovers. So next year or even this year we should expect to start winning some of these close games. As I've been saying, hammer the Bills over/under win total for next year when Vegas releases it this off-season.
  12. Panthers, Falcons and Jets at home helps quite a bit. They can afford to lose one game and still get in on tiebreakers. If one of their wins is against the Patriots they can even afford to blow a game they should win by double digits. We aren't finishing with Ravens, Browns, Steelers or Steelers, Bengals, Ravens or Steelers, Browns, Bengals like the entire AFC North is.
  13. Problem is the Bills can't afford to lose another game before the Patriots game. Patriots game is a toss up. That kind of makes the Panthers a must win. Had the Bills pulled out a victory today they could afford to still lose two more and make the playoffs. As it is, they can only afford to lose one.
  14. Well that could be a problem. Is that true though?
  15. I've long felt the Bills will win in New England when we play them again. Might not get homefield advantage but honestly don't care. This team plays well on the road. And weather wise, the conditions are almost guaranteed to be better anywhere but Buffalo. Ideally, the Bills would play the Titans in the AFC championship game in Tennessee. I don't think the Bills could get that lucky though.
  16. Bills and Patriots game likely decides that. Patriots sweep us and I could see it going through New England. I think we beat them in the rematch though.
  17. Earlier in the year there was a thought that Davis had taken a step back this year. He wasn't as good as last year. I don't think the numbers ever supported that. He just wasn't seeing the field because we were forcing Sanders into a starting role.
  18. LOL. I just bumped an older one. Davis needs to be on the field more than Sanders. Period. I think he was today but not sure if Sanders was injured? Tuned out large parts of the second half so may have missed an injury. But all season long Davis has been out producing Sanders on both a per snap and per target basis. I think today he was finally on the field for more snaps as the box score shows 8 targets for Davis to just 1 for Sanders. Davis is also young and part of this teams future potentially. He needs to be on the field a lot.
  19. Did Davis finally out snap Sanders today? I'd like to know if the coaching staff has finally realized Davis needs to be on the field more than Sanders? IMO Davis should be out there 90% of the snaps pretty much. Looking at the box score from today Davis has 8 targets to Sanders 1 so I am guessing just off of that this team might be turning the page on Sanders? Unless Sanders got injured? I did tune out large parts of the game as I couldn't take it when the Bills were down big at the half.
  20. I haven't toyed with it yet but I am guessing as long as the Bills beat the Panthers next week they will be looking good. A lot of the teams right around the Bills play each other a bunch of times to end the season. Where as the Bills only play the Pats. There will be a lot of upcoming games where either team losing for the Bills is a good thing. Like just about every Ravens game to end the season.
  21. Yep. I'm telling you. Whatever Vegas comes out with for the over/under on the Bills next year, absolutely hammer the over. Assume Bills finish the year 10-7. They would probably set it at 10 or 10.5 I haven't seen the schedule for next season but 11 would seem like a lock with all these 1 score losses mounting this year. If it is set at 9.5 that would be stealing money.
  22. As it should be. Allen was very close today to being the MVP front runner. A TD on their last possession in regulation would have done that no doubt. But now his chances are toast. He's lost the head to head against the MVP favorite. He won't be able to make up that ground even if the Bills win out.
  23. Allen was a no call on Diggs on the Bills final regulation possession away from being the leader in the MVP race. But now he is officially out. Even if the Bills somehow win out and get the #1 seed I just can't see him winning over some sort of combination of Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Jonathan Taylor or Kyler Murray. Yeah it's unfair the team Brady has around him but at this point can't see him not winning. They will want to give it to him because of his age too.
  24. In the hunt! Dread must win next week? This team is good as evidence of today's game. Just take care of business against the teams we should beat. I still think the Bills beat the Patriots in New England though. Was always my feeling the two teams would split games winning on each teams home field.
  25. Lose and the Bills are a lock for "in the hunt"
