  1. Even with the injury he is likely an upgrade from Moss unfortunately.
  2. Love this move in terms of playoff seeding. KC won't be finishing 15-2 or 14-3 anytime soon having to play the Chargers and Broncos 4 times a year. Time for the Bills to win one score games and take the #1 seed.
  3. The Bills have several young players that are not in position to take home team discount offers. Harrison could be one. McKenzie is the other obvious one. I would like both back but I wouldn't blame either for trying to get their money now. Each would likely be going after what might end up being the largest contract of their career.
  4. They scored 6 against the Jaguars.
  5. If non top 5 QBs are looking for $40+ million per year then $15 million or so for a guy like Trubisky doesn't seem too crazy. Steelers would probably be an ideal spot for Trubisky in terms of winning the starting job and landing with a stable organization. Giants I think would be 50/50 to beat out Daniel Jones. Either spot is good for him but I think he has the inside track to the job if the Steelers sign him. And really, around $15 million would be fair because he'd be signing as the starting QB essentially. Probably just a 1 or 2 year deal though. In an ideal world for us he stays with the Bills for one more year on a cheaper back up deal. This would only happen though if teams like the Steelers and Giants pass and Mitch doesn't like the other possible options.
  6. Yeah. Possibly. I was thinking Davis as well since he makes a lot of incredible sideline grabs.
  7. I like Carr but I think both sides could benefit from a restart. Raiders simply aren't going to be able to compete with the likes of KC and the Chargers consistently with the guys they have at QB. Carr is also not without blame. He fumbles way too much. He's lead the league in fumbles 2 of the last 4 seasons and has had 11+ fumbles in 3 of the last 4 seasons.
  8. Just needs to train a little with A-rod in the off-season.
  9. Anyone have a guess as to what his one inaccurate completion was? Or in other words, which receiver had the most amazing catch on the year?
  10. He took over the second Dolphins game that was tied 3-3 at the half. I’m not sure we win that game without the monster game he had. I think he had like 11 catches menu for third down conversions. I’ll say this. If we let Beasley go we sure as hell better re-sign McKenzie. I’m assuming Sanders is gone as well. I really rather not lose three out of our five major contributing WR’s.
  11. They are actually bringing up pro bowls? Lol.
  12. Many say they came around after the Vikings game but for me that was way too early still. The game that got me on the bandwagon was the first Miami game. In that game he looked like the Josh Allen in the second half against the Bucs this year. The difference was he was playing with a terrible supporting cast back then. He really showcased his skill set and potential in that Miami game.
  13. You may be correct unfortunately given the market. Just hope Knox's career year doesn't end up being around what he did last year if we sign him to $10-12 million per year.
  14. The Jonnu Smith deal should be a cautionary tale. Not one that teams should be like "well, that's the going rate for a TE so we will have to pay it." Jonnu compiled a 9 TD season in his last year with the Titans but the rest of his numbers were not top 10. He scored 1 TD last year as a Patriot. His last season with the Titans was pretty similar to Knox's most recent season.
  15. For me, thinking McDermott and Beane were utterly clueless about the QB position. This came from the fact that they saw something in Peterman to have him on the roster. And doubled down not once but twice making him a starter. What did he throw 8 INTs in two starts which ended up just being 4 total quarters of football? They witnessed Peterman for over a full year in practice, and about a half of live action his rookie seasons and still thought he not only warranted a roster spot but that he could be the opening day starter. Factor in that I was not that high on the Allen pick because of his perceived high ceiling and low floor making him a prospect that would need a lot of time to develop I thought our coach and GM were in way over there heads when it came to the QB position and had no idea how to evaluate or develop it. The skills position for the supporting cast was weak as well. Their big acquisition to help the QB was Kelvin Benjamin who ended up a huge bust and ultimately out of the league after the Bills cut him halfway through Allen's rookie season. 1. Couldn't tell Peterman was BAD. 2. Couldn't identify skill players that would help the team. 3. Drafted a project QB with a sky high ceiling and desert floor. All the Bills have done since they have arrived is make the playoffs in 4 out of 5 seasons after a 17 year drought.
  16. That is in part why it doesn't matter though. If the Bills don't have any Jacksonville debacles next season and can at least pull out one or two one score games they should be able to run away with the #1 seed. Meanwhile the AFC West will be a dog fight and a couple of good teams in that division could end up as a 6th or 7th seed because of it. Say the Broncos finish as the #3 seed and the Chiefs the #6 seed and Bills #1.
  17. I would think somewhere around $8 million per year currently would be fair market value. Knox hasn't really done much to warrant $8 million per year on a long term deal but he also has some upside if he can take another jump in 2022. It would be a good deal for both parties. Around 3 years $24 million year seems fair. Knox gets paid well above his career production but also can get a new contract fairly quick if he ends up outperforming that $8 million per year deal. I don't see it. If a big season is 100 receptions and 1200 yards then yeah I guess he'll be in line for $14 million per year. But that is basically asking him to double his production from last season which already happened to be a career year for him. $10-12M now for 50 receptions and almost 600 yards?
  18. Yeah. His career high in targets is 71. Let's hope he gets to at least 100 next season so he can get to around 70 catches and 800 yards. Then I could see him earning a $10 million per year contract.
  19. We might be lucky to just get 700 or 800 yards out of him let alone 1000. His career year is under 600 yards. But some want to pay him like he is a 1,000 yard TE. Not even talking Kelce level production which is 1200+
  20. We will watch regardless but I've definitely noticed the MNF crew the last two seasons which has been two different crews has been dreadful compared to their peers. So it is noticeable. The entire production lacks energy too. And heck the crew before was pretty bad I am told although i didn't really watch MNF that much that year for some reason so can't really recall. I think that was the Jason Whitten year.
  21. I believe he is not yet eligible for an extension. Has to play at least 3 years.
