  1. Close it!? This is has to be the hottest thread in the history of TBD.
  2. then that’s still rape in the eyes of the law I thought. You can’t legally consent if you are that wasted that you don’t remember. But I could be wrong.
  3. that can be a great quality for a coach to have. But that is when you need your levelheaded GM or owner to step in without the rose colored glasses and make the proper decision to cut bait. McDermott doesn’t have to be the bad guy. And maybe shouldn’t be in this case. Could fall on the Pegula’s or Beane.
  4. Of course. It’s always been this way. Chalk it up to the saying “life’s not fair”. “The haves and the have nots.”
  5. my guess is quite a few. Good thing we don’t have an actual game that counts tomorrow.
  6. he’s not worth the drama or the fight unfortunately. It is a no brained to cut him. More bad then good would come from keeping him on the team.
  7. yes. Allen’s earned every ounce of credibility from the team and the community. And in terms of value he plays the complete opposite position of punter. hypothetically, you want to say the exact same accusation come out against Allen my reaction would be to probably want to suspend him with pay while the civil or criminal case plays out. with a punter there is nothing to consider. You just move on and get another one.
  8. hey, we successfully paid for a billboard to get Dick Jauron out of town, that I was guilty of contributing to. And that was quite mean spirited considering Dick, while past his prime as a coach, was still at least a great human being. I’d be all for a billboard to get our dipsh!t rookie punter released from the team if the owners and management don’t come to their senses by tomorrow afternoon.
  9. @Zerovoltz has it 100% correct. He’s a PUNTER! On a team that doesn’t punt. Get another one. Don’t let this be a dark cloud that hangs over our super bowl season.
  10. Has the criminal one even been released to the public yet?
  11. Couldn’t agree more. I fully expect him to be released by noon eastern time tomorrow at the latest. At least I hope so. They can’t trot him onto the field tomorrow against the Panthers.
  12. good post. But I disagree with the main point because unfortunately, trash take or not, he is in fact just a punter. And on a team that doesn’t figure on punting much at all. Would we be saying the same thing if an accusation came out against Allen? Of course not. Talent and value trump all in this game. Always have and always will. But that’s why Allen’s got $258 million in the bank and Araiza is a JAG. Of course Allen has also been here for five years in the community and we have seen all the good he has done for the community as well. Part of me also feels like maybe if this were the drought era Bills I would be willing to keep Araiza on the practice squad and see if things out for him in the long run. But with the team having legitimate super bowl aspirations I just don’t think we need the headache that the case will bring. It’s a total buzzkill to what otherwise should be a great season to enjoy.
  13. I’m not sure it is that cut and dry. Notice it also says “could be charged” and not “will be charged”. Hypothetically if a girl has a fake ID and is drinking at a bar, has sex with someone she meets there and later is found out to be 17 I don’t see that as a slam dunk case against the accused.
  14. it went sideways about 4 hours ago or whenever this news broke in the mainstream. Fair or not to Araiza he should be released by tomorrow morning.
  15. Can’t imagine Beane or McDermott would be foolish enough to allow Araiza to punt tomorrow right? Should we expect a guy to be flown in tomorrow morning before the game?
  16. I vote Shakir as the rookie with the biggest overall season. Will be interesting if he can finish 3rd on the team in receiving yards ahead of McKenzie and Knox.
  17. Still waiting for the return of Savior Edwards from BBMB.
  18. They're getting the money from the fans one way or the other as the article mentions but it's still nice to be able to spend that extra money on merchandise or perhaps better seats rather than being gouged for concessions. Nobody likes paying sky high prices for concessions. Smart move by the Falcons I think. I'll be at So-Fi for the season opener. I'll try to post the prices for concessions there in contrast.
  19. I disagree. When you have a super bowl caliber team you should be making your special teams as good as it can possibly be. That means more specialist beyond just a K/P/LS. Very little benefit for the Bills to give a 6th WR or 4th string RB reps on offense.
  20. LOL. I noticed that guy too. He was making some adjustments down there as well. Must have been difficult with those oven mitts on.
  21. Touch wise he might be RB #3 behind Singletary and Cook.
  22. Could come down to Blackshear vs. Moss. Both look great. Tough choice. Might be wiser to go with Blackshear if he can be had on a cheap deal longer. Unless they just want to keep 4 RB's on the roster. This team is so deep. Touch choices ahead.
  23. Our JV team has been playing the last two quarters. Our JV is just really good.
